“We ordered from both the Indian and Asian menus. We ordered fried rice, orange with shrimp and chicken masala. The food was very tasty and flavorful. Our server, Moon, promptly greeted and seated us and advised on tge menu selection. The combination of friendly and courteous service and delicious food created an enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Authenticity off the charts!!!! Lunch here is unbeatable. First, a tea pot of green tea as soon as you sit down and cloth napkins and a packed spot. Got kung pao chicken and it was balanced and the perfect portion. A little too many water chesnuts. Fried rice was awesome. Pho was great but too much. And also didn't like that that beef came inside not letting me cook it myself. Sesame chicken good. Prices awesome. Will try again. Nice server.“
“Friendly, fast service, your typical mall staple Chinese food. I was there recently, and spilt the 2 combo meal which is 2 entrees, and 2 sides for $11.25; plenty of food to share. Generous fresh portions, reasonable prices, probably the highlight of the mall with a steady flow of customers. Hopefully they can figure something out without having an outside entrance, like TGI Fridays...once Boulevard Mall starts redevelopment, and closes the interior. Sorry forgot food pictures, but highly recommend for lunch or dinner.“
“Always love coming to Golden Hill! This is my fourth time coming here, l've come alone and brought friends too! The service is always wonderful and the restaurant itself is small and peaceful. My go-to dish is the Tom Kar with shrimp, it's comforting and the flavor is delicious. The sautéed string beans are a must, they're seasoned to perfection! Also got the Szechuan style sliced fish and I would recommend if you like spicy food. I’ve also went basic and gotten orange chicken and crab rangoons and they were both very satisfying and flavorful! Surprisingly, I've never witnessed it being busy but they're always getting phone calls and preparing takeout orders so l assume that's where most of the business comes from.“
“Our "go-to" spot for take out. The food is always hot and well made, good sized portions for the price and every time I pick up my meals I'm always greeted with a smile. Never had a bad meal there and we've been regular customers for years. Definitely give them a call next time you are getting take out.“
“I am totally impressed with this restaurant. The first thing that stood out for me, was the fact the restaurant was so clean. Many Chinese restaurants that are in the Buffalo area, I avoid due to the fact the inside looks so raggedy. As for the food, even though it’s typical American style Chinese food. I will say that, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely order from here again.Mei fun- (chicken) nice amount to share. Flavor was ok, nothing really stood out with this entreeEgg foo young- (shrimp) I really like this entree. The brown sauce was good, and the 3 egg Pattie’s was not greasy at all.Beef and Broccoli- very good, especially the sauce. This entree you can share as well. Just needed another side order of rice“
“A friend and I came here lunch one weekend. He'd been there a couple of times and this was my first time so it was interesting. It is small to say the least but they have a few tables for dining inside. We luckily got a table and we figured out what we wanted for lunch. They do have a good selection for their menu so variety is great. My friend ordered stir fried noodles and a scallion pancake (he ordered some lo mein to go) and I got the spring rolls and shrimp lo mein. The portions were large for the price and the food it was delicious. I will have to come back to order takeout from them in the future just to see what they offer.“
“I work in the area three days a week. I would order from here all three days, but I don't, lol. I always get the general Tsos chicken, and my clients always try something new. It's all always delicious. I stick to the general Tso's because it's the best I have had. It's a small place, family owned and run by very nice people. There are a couple of tables, but it's mostly a take out place. If you're in the area and haven't tried it, you must. You will not be disappointed.“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant in Buffalo. I went there about 10 years ago when I moved to Buffalo from Brooklyn. I was heartbroken when they closed down a few years ago. Imagine my surprise when they reopen, and they were as good as ever! The restaurant is small but homey with a friendly staff, I especially enjoy chatting with the older gentleman. The food portion is ample, with sides. I can't recommend this place enough. I drive over 30 minutes to get my food. They have recently implemented a reward system that you signed up for using your email/phone number.I love how they incorporate a special Lenten menu with fish/seafood option for those who prefer those fare this time of the year.“
“This is a good restaurant, If you are not prepared to pay cash at a Chinese restaurant you have never payed for a meal from a Chinese restaurant. If you have one bad experience at a local business and put them on blast without giving them a second chance it just shows that you have never owned a small business or worked in a customer service position. I have been eating the food from Mayflower for years and it is overall consistent and very good. The majority of the reviews you see will attest to that.for everyone else... try to grow as a person and you will find every day will be less stressful and you may find the people you encounter are nicer as well.“
“Very delicious~ Very delicious,A tour group brought us here to dine, and everyone’s eyes lit up when they saw the fried water spinach~ It’s full of intimacy in a foreign land ?.Recommended dishes: stir-fried eggplant, sweet and sour pork ribs, lobster, stir-fried celery and seasonal vegetables.“
“This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is well priced and delicious. Anytime someone comes to visit this is one of the first places we think of to take them.I love the spicy chicken and hot pork meals and my fiancé is addicted to the Bibimbap. The only downside is that sometimes it is closed on random days (always the day I get a hankering for Korean food) but if you go and it's closed it is WELL worth going the next day. You will not be disappointed.“
“We ordered here for the first time and I'm very happy with the experience. The food tasted very good and the prices were reasonable. The steamed dumplings were fantastic with more meat inside than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to in a long time. I'm only giving four stars because there was one thing I found to be unsatisfactory: the rice. The rice that is part of the combo dinners was sort of bland and a little too dry for my taste. Overall, though I was very pleased and I will definitely order with them again.“
“Very pleased. We have tried a variety of places in the area for Chinese and have been fairly disappointed. Wok and Roll did not disappoint. We had Moo Goo Gai Pan and Cashew Chicken, also the Won Ton soup. We found all to be prepared well with sauces not being oversalted and the ingredients of very good quality. Plenty of cashews in that dish and the Won Tons were a generous amount in a delicious broth. The place was clean and efficient. This will be our "go-to" moving forward. Thank you Wok and Roll!“
“Sesame House is a gem! The food is consistently good. The attention to detail, from the packaging to the complimentary extras, makes each order special. It's become our family favorite, offering great value and delicious meals for our large family. A must-try for anyone in the area!“
“I want to first thank my server James he’s was extremely friendly excellent service hospitality 100++++ attentive food was amazing. I will be coming back soon with my family to enjoy wonderful service and food. I would appreciate if James gets recognized for his excellent customer service and please keep up the excellent work. 5+++++ review“
“Great Chinese food, A+ service and speed of service, super neat and clean restaurant. When in desire to have Chinese food this is the place, won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: If it's not on the menu they do make the order option.“
“Restaurant conveniently located down stairs of our hotel. I did not have high expectations coming from Toronto. I was very surprised how legit the food was. Portion was large and the ingredients was fresh. The food is as good as Toronto. Prices were reasonable considering the large portion they serve. The staff was pleasant and efficient and our server served lovely hot tea throughout your meal. The food comes nice and hot which is what Chinese food is suppose to be in order for it to taste good. Will definitely return.“
“First hotpot experience ever! The servers were so patient and informative of how it all worked. Huge selection of fresh veggies and tofu which is perfect for me since I am vegetarian. My boyfriend loves their steak and the fish/pork balls. Making your own sauce to dip in is definitely my favorite part! Many broths to choose from as well and I really like that you can do split pots even if it’s only two people since my bf eats meat and I do not. Different sake and soju to try and were delicious! Ambiance is welcoming and the music/ led screen playing music videos is fun but not too loud. Very clean whenever we go, as well as the bathrooms smelling fresh. Any negative reviews about the service must’ve missed the huge “call” button at each table if you need anything or want to order more the employees come right away. We never end up even needing the call button. Overall the service was immaculate and we were constantly being checked on by all three employees which made us felt so cared for. Can’t recommend this place enough and it’s our new favorite spot!“
“Definitely order here! I'm from out of town and I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. I'm not exaggerating when I say this the best Chinese food I've ever had. The pork fried rice was fresh, and tasted like hibachi quality rice. The general tso sauce was delicious, actually spicy and not half corn syrup like other places. I'm actually confused as to why this is so good. Are my local places that bad?? Just eat here and then leave your own review telling me I was right.“
“IMO they have some of the best American Chinese takeout food in Buffalo. Always hot, fresh, and flavorful. However, I wish you didn't have to pay an extra $2/per order for a more authentic (egg, green onion, and bean sprouts) rice. It would be worth it if it was a decent amount of egg and onions.Parking: Nice size parking lot, but it needs repaving.“
“Excellent food authentic vast choices great specials ??????Vegetarian options: Many meatless veggie combos to chooseKid-friendliness: Plenty of dishes they would enjoy plus fortune cookies and crispy noodles.Parking: The Wok is in a plaza so lots of parking usually.“
“Great prices, great food, great service. The owners there are the sweetest little things and always makes sure to perfect each order. The best dish is the beef broccoli and the buffalo chicken wings. They give a heaping amount of meat and the wings are massive. The shrimps rolls are the cherry on top. Very good“
“I have been "chasing a high" of crispy General Tso's with a specific style sauce and fried rice for a handful of years. I came across this location and had to try the General Tso's. NIRVANA! I had finally found the sauce/crispy combo I had been searching for that I was used to eating growing up in Eastern Erie County. The staff are nice, food is quick and I like sitting at the table looking out the window while I enjoy lunch. It's one dish, to my preferences, but I'd recommend you trying it!“
“Definitely no-frills for the dining room, but extremely clean and oddly comfortable. Plus, with food like this, none of the rest matters. I've yet to have a dish that doesn't hit exactly right. The hot and chilli chicken is out of this world but everything is so, so good.“
“I love this little local family owned restaurant. I tell all my friends about this place. The owner is usually always working and super sweet. My personal go to order is the a quart of milk tea, pork and preserved congee and. But I also really like the phoenix chicken. Highly recommend :) !“
“First of all I want to say that I love supporting local family run restaurants! My husband and I have been frequenting for about a year now and have not yet been disappointed by China King. Dear Husband always orders Sesame Chicken without complaint. Their popular sweet dishes like Orange and General Tso's Chicken have a pleasant spicy pick to them that isn't too much for my little ones. I absolutely love the home-style food menu (see yelp photos because it's not on the takeout menu)! I am comfortable trying new things because I rarely order something I don't like. Tried and loved foods: Steamed chicken and veggies w. side of brown sauce, Shrimp w. lobster sauce, General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, orance chicken, beef w. Broccoli, Lo Mein, Curry chicken w. onions, pepper steak w. onions, crab rangoon, boiled dumplings, and chicken with black, Chicken w. black pepper. Not liked so much: Bourbon Chicken“
“My wife and I have been coming here the last 3 years. The family who owns this are amazing! We come in about twice a month and they know who we are every time. Food is spot on and they actually care about what they do! Highly recommend stopping here!“
“A+ Chinese food right here! Our family ordered beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli combos for dinner and the sauce they use is outstanding! Egg rolls are on point and their egg drop is the best in the area. Amazing service with Very friendly people at the counter to take your order as well. Lobby is one of the cleanest you'll see for a takeout joint also.“
“I went during their promotion last week and the people and food are 10/10! Excellent much needed halal option added to the neighborhood. Different type of cuisine that compliments the growing population! Keep up the good work and looking forward to trying the expanding menu!“
“This is a very nice place the staff here are so friendly and nice, I remember I was talking to the cashier and we bonded because my name is “Erik” with a “K” and her sons name is Eric with a “C” I remember she told me a story that when she was in Canada going back to the US the border patrol officers name was Erik with a “K” but he said apparently the proper way to spell Eric was with a “C” I don’t know but she was really nice and friendly. They have excellent food here! I highly recommend going here!“
“This restaurant has great reviews and I live nearby so it's a shame it took me this long to go try it. We ordered the chicken hibachi and the bulgogi. Both meals came with a miso soup and rice, the hibachi dinner also had some vegetables with it. All the sides were amazing, the soup was really good, the rice was sticky and delicious and the vegetables were cooked great. The bulgogi was super tender and will definitely be a staple of my future orders. Only complaint about the food was the hibachi chicken was pretty dry. If it had some sauce I think it would've masked it some, but I'm going to try other things on the menu before I give this a second chance. We also had the pork gyoza appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. I tried using its sauce on the hibachi chicken to help alleviate the dryness and it worked a little bit. I unfortunately didn't take pictures of the food, but I do have pictures of the menu so I will share that since all the ones on here are very old. This menu is current as of 3/28/2023. The restaurant has no dine in options currently, they are set up for take out and are quick to make your food. Also the cost of this place may have gone up over the years, but it's a great value for really good food!“
“China One is conveniently located on Transit in the Tops plaza. The food is fresh and delicious every time. Large chunks of onions and carrots in the fried rice. The portions are a good size with a fair price. I love the crab rangoons and the egg rolls. What's not to like ?! Yum !! ??“
“Impressed with the freshness of the foods we ordered. Taste was delicious. ✔️Vegetable Pad Thai, lightly sweet, I really enjoyed this dish. ✔️Broccoli with Garlic Sauce. Broccoli was cooked perfect with slight crunch ? and the sauce is great. ✔️ Mixed Steam Vegetables, personally, the brown sauce that accompanied this dish didn't smell appealing and after a [tip on the tongue] taste I did not eat it. ✔️White Rice, fresh and fluffy. ✔️Egg Rollls, typical, but hot and crunchy.“
