“Food was good after we waited over an hour to get it. Our PadThai was taken by another server so we had to wait until they made another order. It was our first time there in a few years but this mix up was unacceptable without any offer of compensation. Our server just kept apologizing. She was also taking care of way too many tables and was not as attentive as she should have been. My water was not refilled until after I called her over, she never came to check how our meal was. With the cost of food these days I would expect much better service.“

“There's no better Chinese food take-out in Western NY. Great quality and quantity. Best prices. Always served hot and it's double packaged to keep it hot until you get home. “Out of all the Chinese places in WNY this is by far the best!! The egg roles are JUMBO and packed with flavor, some of the best pork fried rice! Chicken is perfect it’s not soggy like the other places, you can taste the flavor!!!! 10/10 stars will drive the extra 8 minutes just for this place!“

“China Taste is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Buffalo/Niagara region. Believe me when I say - it is one of very few authentic Chinese food places in the area. And no, it's not like any typical Chinese takeout place, and the fact that we drive 30min each way to eat there almost every chance we get shows just how much we love it. We always order enough food for 6-8 people and then take the rest home and eat them throughout the week.
They have a huge menu and we continue to try one new dish every time we go. I don't have pics of everything we've ever ordered but our favorite items are:
1. sweet and sour pork - we always always always order this no matter what, and sometimes we get another order to go. It's nothing like the ones you get from other Chinese places. The coating is super crispy, and maintains its crispiness even after microwaving.
The sauce is tangy with a hint of sweetness and not all thick/gooey and sugary like other places.
I don't even like sweet and sour pork as a dish but I absolutely love and crave this all the time.
2. As for soups, we usually go for the Westlake beef soup. It's seasoned ground beef with tofu in a delicious egg drop like broth. It has a lot of cilantro so if you're not a fan of cilantro you won't like this. The wonton soup is very good too but it has seaweed in it for those who might not be a fan. I think you can probably ask for it without the seaweed though.
3. Scallion pancake stuffed with pork, beef, or lamb. All the meats are a little spicy and all are delicious, but our favorite is the pork. There's this homemade kimchi inside and it just makes it extra delicious.
4. Green beans and minced pork - it's my personal favorite vegetable dish. They did make this other dish that has bean sprouts with sliced pork but they took it off their menu a couple of months ago because not enough people order it :(
5. All the dumplings. They're all homemade and I love them because the dough is not super thick like most other places. There's a good dough to filling ratio and that's one of the key characteristics of a good dumpling. We usually ask them to be pan fried (hubby prefers them that way) which takes extra long to do and costs extra, but is worth it if you like more of a potsticker style dumpling. Also, the wontons in spicy sauce is very tasty too - that's a dish we typically order as well.
6. We usually get some kind of beef dish. The ones I remember liking are the beef with scallions and onions, the black pepper beef, and the spicy shredded beef.

It’s a small space and the atmosphere isn’t the greatest for say, a date night. But it’s always clean, the staff is always friendly, and the food is always delicious!“

“First, the bad: the food was *okay*. The fried wontons were a little greasy for my tastes, but I know other people like them. The fried dumplings were okay. However, the prices were very good and the dining area surprisingly spacious, service was good, and there were some big fishies too, so I recommend this place in the end :D“

“Miss Hot Cafe is going to be your new favorite place. This is my #1 go-to whenever I have visitors in town. The service is always fast, friendly, and we have only once experienced a wait. Our favorite dishes are the Spicy Chili Lamb, Shanghai dumplings, and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. “Very fast, very yummy Asian-American food at reasonable prices. They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“

“The BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had! If you are even considering ordering Chinese food, order from Golden Wok. The rice is authentic and flavorful. The orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken are saucy with the perfect amount of spice, flavor, and veggies. The crab rangoons are crispy perfection and the egg rolls are crunchy and delicious. “We live about two minutes away off of North Forest and have tried every Chinese restaurant from the golf course on Maple to Williamsville North and all of Main Street Williamsville. “Gin Gin might be my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Buffalo! Even as someone who grew up working in Chinese restaurants, Gin Gin has impressed me. First impression, it's an older restaurant, the interior is nothing fancy, but older, which might give the wrong impression but I'm not one to quickly judge until I get my food. So after we sat down, we were given the menu. All Chinese restaurants have a big menu with countless options to choose from, but Gin Gin has by far the largest menu I've ever seen, adding onto the dishes not on the actual menu but posted on the walls. The cool thing is that they serve not just your typical American Chinese food but also some authentic Chinese dishes. So it took me quite some time to decide what to order. I even had to ask the boss for recommendations. She recommended me the Curry Chicken (Chop). Which was unlike the Curry Chicken my family's restaurant used to make or any other restaurant I've been to. The use bone in chicken wing pieces instead of the typical chicken breast/thigh meat. While I do prefer it the typical way, I was down to try something new. The Egg Drop Soup was also great, and it came with a side of Crispy Noodles, which you can add into the soup. But I like dipping it in duck sauce like chips and salsa. The Egg Drop Soup was very flavorful and I believe they use chicken broth/stock instead of just water, which means higher quality! The Beef w Garlic Sauce is something I always love to get when I go to Chinese restaurants, and they made it beautifully. It was full of flavor and better than most Beef w Garlic Sauce I've had. The portions were also great! We left all full and satisfied. Will definitely be back to try other stuff next time!“

I always get Vegetable Lo Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice, a side of brown sauce to pour on, and 2 spring rolls. My wife always gets the Sweet & Sour Chicken with rice. “Ordered through doordash, I ordered beef and scallops, sesame chicken and boneless spare ribs. Ribs were fantastic and flavorful. The sesame chicken is always good (could use more sesame seeds), the beef and scallops was where you lost a star. Both the beef and scallops could have been cooked a little longer. Maybe fry the scallops.“
