“I recently dined at Zen Fusion Cuisine in Fresh Meadows, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was serene and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a relaxing meal. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, blending Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisines. I opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which was both reasonably priced and offered a wide variety of fresh sushi and hibachi items. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, and the hibachi dishes were flavorful. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend Zen Fusion Cuisine to anyone looking for a satisfying and diverse Asian fusion meal in Queens. I strongly recommend spicy girl rolls!!!“

“This place is fantastic!! The food flavorful and you’ll end up craving it a few days later. I highly recommend their spicy katsu chicken sandwich and their curry bowl. They have fun Japanese drinks, desserts and snacks as well. There is sometimes a long line but it goes quick. Definitely check this place out.“

“My plus one and I really enjoyed our time here. We had just gotten home from vacation and were in a mood for Ramen and this place did not disappoint.
Let me just say that this place has such a traditional Japanese vibe to it…the staff is warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.
We had the ramen, both original and spicy and it was very delicious. We also had two Asahi beers and called it a day.
Overall, I will come back to this place more often.“

“Fantastic speakeasy sushi joint. Very small, no more than an handful of people may join the omasake style bar where 3 talented (and cool) chefs serve you the best crafted sushi you can get. Definitely going back soon.“
“DASHI OKUME is a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the calming aroma of quality Japanese ingredients and a beautifully curated space that feels like a slice of Tokyo. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about dashi, and they take the time to walk you through the different varieties and combinations based on your taste preferences.
The custom dashi blends are a game-changer—deep, umami-rich, and incredibly fresh. You can really taste the difference compared to store-bought broth. Whether you’re making miso soup, noodle dishes, or even just sipping it on its own, the flavor is next-level.
They also carry a great selection of premium Japanese pantry staples, and everything is presented with care and attention to detail. DASHI OKUME isn’t just a shop—it’s an experience. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine or wants to elevate their home cooking!“

“Loved everything we had - karaage, tempura, chashudon and gyudon. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked well. The chashu had amazing flavor, and the rice was so good. I haven’t had well-cooked rice in a very, very long time. It was quite special!“

“Simplemente impresionante. No pensamos que algo así pudiera existir en NY. Los sabores propuestos son increíbles. El valor no está en las paredes o mobiliario, sino en lo que llevas a tu paladar y la atención personalísima, atenta y divertida. Gracias, gracias, gracias...“

“This is my new favorite takeout place! The sushi is some of the best I’ve had in Brooklyn, and the prices (especially for the dinner boxes + lunch specials) are more than reasonable.
The most recent times I’ve ordered, I’ve needed to swap out the roll in the Sushi Dinner due to a dietary restrictions. I called the restaurant and they were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend ordering from here!“

“Beautiful spot, everything is so thoughtful from the ceramics hand made by the chef to the incredible soba. Subtle flavors that intertwine to create a light and delicious meal. Highly recommend the shio duck with housemade spicy chili paste. The tofu was also incredible, unlike any tofu I’ve ever tasted and much better.“

“Everything was great - especially the food. Just be careful if you are looking for traditional omakase, this one is fusion. But really worth it. Also for those visiting from abroad, the $50-100 range displayed by google is misleading - it doesn't include a couple things including the expected tip which reaches $50. 2 people, 2 glasses of wine, we paid $270. Again, worth it IMO considering the food and other similarly priced restaurants.“

“Ginza Don in the Golden Mall Food Court, Flushing, Queens, offers an astonishing dining experience with its donburi rice bowls topped with a variety of proteins like beef, rib eye, steak, and eel, all cooked right in front of you. Watching the food being prepared adds a unique touch to the meal. Their new appetizers, like the mozzarella cheese sausage and crunchy karaage fried chicken, are absolutely delicious. This spot is a must-try, and I'll definitely be back to sample more of their donburi offerings!“

“Food was so authentic. It took me back to some of my favorite spots on St. Marks back when Japanese Restaurants were kind of hole in the wallish and actually owned and prepared by Japanese. Tonkatsu was super crispy and moist. Udon was clean with a true Japanese flavor not flavor packet garbage some restaurants are passing off these days. The curry udon was amazing. Chirashi was delicate, flavorful and fresh. Great staff. Loved it all. Will be back and soon.“

“Cute lil spot in Long Island City that opened approx. a year ago serving up authentic Japanese fare. Great for impromptu lunch or to catch up with friends. They do open for dinner and drinks but I haven’t been yet.
I came for lunch with two of my friends. We tried the Omurice, Vegan Ramen and Matcha Soufflé Pancake. I omitted the bacon from my rice. The rice was a bit dry or overcooked and the egg wasn’t as eggy/runny as expected. We shared the matcha pancake, it was delicious enough to disappear in under 5 minutes. Our drinks were delicious as well. Mine was a bit too sweet for my taste so I watered it down.
I’ll definitely recommend and be back!“

“Authentic Japanese spot serving quality cuts at a fraction of the price of other places. Particularly enjoyed the salmon and tuna cuts as well as the takoyaki. “Went inside on a whim and so glad we did. The handrolls were incredible. The fish was great quality and creativity was next level. Our favorites were the xo scallop (must get), tuna poke, salmon serrano, aka ebi, toro scallion, and spicy lobster. Not as big of a fan of cooked/fried fish in sushi, but tried the coconut shrimp and spicy crab dynamite due to the many recommendations, and thought they were just okay. Also didn’t think the caviar starter was anything special.“

“This is our go-to sushi place. I spent most of my college years as a server at various sushi restaurants so I'm typically picker about the sushi and sashimi I order and I can attest to the quality and breadth of their selection. Their traditional Japanese appetizers like Hamachi-Kama are excellent as well. The staff are extremely welcoming of our young children (which not all restaurants in NYC are) and know them by name. Needless to say we hope Bushniwa is here for the long haul so we always have our favorite sushi spot!“

“A tasty, cute, local spot that offers omakase as well as your traditional sushi/Japanese menu options with options for drinks too. Our favorite dishes to get are their Chilean Sea Bass with mushroom , truffle risotto and veggies, Masaaki Roll, and Eel Kamameshi Rice. Their sashimi dishes are also quite tasty and the omakase is affordable at just under $100.
The only drawback is that the omakase is in the back where they have bigger tables and separate rooms for a more private setting, which in my opinion takes away from the intimacy that is meant to be the purpose of omakase. But I would still recommend this place to eat at for any occasion, from a date night or dinner with family.“

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! I could definitely see myself coming back here again, whether alone or with family or friends. Well done, Nippon Cha!“

“It's been years coming to parsley, I mean how can you not come here. Let me explain to you that this woman all by herself is managing this place. From Onigiris to Tuna Don, Maze Gohan as well as ramen soups. I mean everything is so perfect. She has a great selection of sake to die for as well as beer. Without mentioning that there is a variety of Wines. Excellent for Dine in and takeout. Overall, a great place for dates, as well as coming alone. You will not be disappointed.
Vegetarian options: Tofu soup, Vegetable Gyozas, vegetables Onigiris.“

“It is not often enough that great atmosphere and ambience pair together with great food, but this place has done just that.

“It’s the best sushi place in ridgewood without a doubt by every metric imaginable. But please I’m begging for the love of nori, please stop blasting country music at all hours of every day.
