“Because of it's good reviews, I walked in this restaurant and placed a takeout order. The woman that seems to run the place is friendly, helpful, and honest. She stays busy, and the regular customers know her by name. The food tasted good, and the portion size was good too. “We came over to Fort Erie to shop for a few things we cannot find at our US grocery store so we decided to drop in for an early dinner at Happy Jacks. I love Chinese food and my husband has been telling me Fort Erie is a great place for Chinese restaurants. We were mulling over the Dinner for 2 selections when Alvin stopped at our table to help us decide. He kindly agreed to substitute one of the dishes listed and told us we couldn't go wrong. The food was absolutely delicious and I am happy that we had some leftovers to enjoy at home tonight. The only minor issue was my husband wanted the Hot and Sour soup instead of Won Ton, and when he mentioned it to our server she had no issue making that change for him. On our way out we met Jack Jr. who wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was! Prices were very reasonable and all of the food was good. I am hoping we can make the trip over to Fort Erie to eat here more often.“

“I was having a hard time when i walked into the store hoping for some pizza, but little did i know, this was an asian restaurant that in fact did NOT sell pizza. i was showing an expression of disappointment, but i never needed the pizza. i just needed the dumplings that were hand fed to me on a platter of gold. i was dang to and fanned with olive branches while i was given a massage on my shoulders and feet simultaneously. after the massage and food, they saw my baby and asked if he was yet baptized. i responded no so the chef went to walmart and got a baby pool and then baptized my baby followed by me, my entire family, everyone eating in the restaurant and the entire staff. I was given a beautiful goodbye that made me feel like i was at disney world. it was truly such and enlightening and blissful moment i am so happy to have experienced with my family. the noodles were also great. this was honestly one of the best restaurant with the kindest staff“

She and her colleague went out of their way to give us a falls view window. “This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is well priced and delicious. Anytime someone comes to visit this is one of the first places we think of to take them.I love the spicy chicken and hot pork meals and my fiancé is addicted to the Bibimbap.The only downside is that sometimes it is closed on random days (always the day I get a hankering for Korean food) but if you go and it's closed it is WELL worth going the next day. “Don't be fooled by the tiny little restaurant Chan Wok, tucked into the Tops plaza off North French. This place has the best Chinese/fusion food in Erie or Niagara County. I ordered through postmates and always get hot, sumptuous foods. The soup is cleaner and fresher than Pho, all the entrees are good enough for left overs and savory, spicy, favorites and sides. The bag is never wet, the food is hot to the touch, and really reasonably priced. I think delivery is the best way to go as the little restaurant isn't very large. I have had some baad delivery here but Chan Wok off North French is consistently fresh, hot, and a great value for a large group too.“

“A hidden gem! Usually it is slow inside and kind of dark but the food is delicious. The cashew chicken is amazing. Their sweet and sour sauce is a little thick and will die your fingers (as learned from my 2 year old! lol). The ladies are super helpful and nice whenever we go. “Our favorite place to order Chinese food! I've been getting food from the Chinatown kitchen for almost 30 years and it's always been consistently tasty, even while so many competitors have begun skimping on quality. The only downside that I've experienced is that the restaurant no longer handles deliveries themselves, an unfortunate side effect of Covid and the increase in delivery services. They are now only delivering through said services, which cost more and increase delivery times drastically.“

The owner is always polite, busy cleaning and refreshing drinks and catering to her wonderful, loyal customers. I'm pleased with their service. Overall, I give them 5 stars. It is worth every penny! “Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“

They were so bad that some of the legs with the claws on them had nothing in them but dried up brown meat !Old fruits.You can certainly tell they put out food that is days old. I wish they did have tofu here they don't so if they read this think about that. The Chinese spot on Delaware and main Street where Canisius is they tofu is out of this world and since you're close to home I want you to be just like that if not better. my family and everybody family is love this place and they know me by name so they get a five just for saying hi Mrs. Claudia what you need today. “They are good on most times I get my food from Panda. They are not cheap with the size of the dishes and they are always smiling. I cant say there aren't things they can do better, but they way they are now is enough for me to say that I am a regular.“

“This restaurant has great reviews and I live nearby so it's a shame it took me this long to go try it. We ordered the chicken hibachi and the bulgogi. Both meals came with a miso soup and rice, the hibachi dinner also had some vegetables with it. All the sides were amazing, the soup was really good, the rice was sticky and delicious and the vegetables were cooked great. The bulgogi was super tender and will definitely be a staple of my future orders. Only complaint about the food was the hibachi chicken was pretty dry. If it had some sauce I think it would've masked it some, but I'm going to try other things on the menu before I give this a second chance. We also had the pork gyoza appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. I tried using its sauce on the hibachi chicken to help alleviate the dryness and it worked a little bit. I unfortunately didn't take pictures of the food, but I do have pictures of the menu so I will share that since all the ones on here are very old. This menu is current as of 3/28/2023. The restaurant has no dine in options currently, they are set up for take out and are quick to make your food. Also the cost of this place may have gone up over the years, but it's a great value for really good food!“

“3.5 stars. I'll round up. I was heading over to Crush It Nutrition a few Mondays back. I noticed Taste Good Chinese Restaurant next to it. I always find it bold when an eatery makes a statement that its food tastes good in its name. Oh, yeah? Let's see if that's true. After shopping at Kohl's in Williamsville, I looked up this eatery online and placed a pickup order. I ordered the following items: - Steamed pork dumplings (6) with garlic dipping sauce - Shrimp with lobster sauce on roasted pork fried rice I got an estimated time of twenty minutes for my food to be ready. I would get there right on time from where I was. That's what I thought. I got a phone call roughly halfway through my drive. A man from the restaurant said that my order was ready. I said that I was heading over there and thanked him. Fast. Good communication. So far, so good. I returned to the plaza anchored by Wegmans. I parked steps away from the main entrance and walked in. This eatery had a number of booths and tables. No one was dining there. I guess that everyone liked doing takeout instead on a Monday night? I said hi to a man who came out of the kitchen. He asked for my phone number. I rattled it off. He was interested in the last four digits of it. So much for good communication here. Just tell me that, so I would have saved us both some time. He handed my food in a paper bag with a plastic bag over it. I thanked him and headed to my car. I then drove back to my hotel room to dig in. The steamed dumplings were yummy. The filling was flavourful. The wrapper was on the thicker side, but it wasn't as doughy as I had feared. I loved the garlicky dipping sauce. My favourite dish these days is shrimp with lobster sauce on roasted pork fried rice at any Chinese eatery. New China Restaurant in Rochester, MN does it right and has set the benchmark high. This place had a lot of egg clumps in the lobster sauce, which put a damper on my eating experience. I actually took all the white egg clumps out. The sauce was okay, but it needed something more exciting flavour-wise. The shrimp were yummy. The pork fried rice also needed more flavour. It didn't have any crispy bits to it. This place wasn't skimpy with its ingredients. It was good, but there is lots of room to make it better. The dumplings were delicious. I'd get them again. I'd try a different main next time and hope that it's better. (154)“

This time I actually put a few pounds on, BUT how can that be when I only ate five places of food, and a tiny dessert bowl of ice cream!?!
