“I was visiting friends in NY, and on the day of my return to FL, my girlfriend took me to Panino Rustico, where I met JACK, he was excellent and authentic New Yorker, with accent and all (adorable).. The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent. I love a Hot Panini and it was perfect, flavors were cheesy perfect. Even the ambiance was charming and the Service was impeccable. I truly cannot say enough. So when you go, say HI to Jack!! + Fires of Vesuvius was our favorite cocktail. Strong flavor and great spice level.
+ Enjoyed the crudo. It was light and fresh, packed with flavor.
+ Monkey bread seems popular, so I don't have much to add. I will say, it was larger than expected and pretty filling!
+ Definitely preferred the riggies over the rotalini. I just don't think we had the palate for the broccoli rabe.
+ Panna cotta had three or four layers, so satisfying to take a spoonful.
+ Baba-yaki was interesting. Great texture, and fun to eat. I don't think I ever tried amaro. It was definitely an adjustment.

We got a reservation around 5 or 5:30 I wanna say and within minutes of us getting there, the restaurant went from empty to bustling and packed in what felt like a manner of minutes! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the large windows allow for wonderful lighting - first, for happiness and second, for the Gram. We tried a bunch of different things that were all delicious. What really struck me was how simple these dishes were yet packed with a delightful combination of flavors. Of all that we tried, would highly recommend the whipped ricotta, mezze rigatoni, and ricotta- filled occhi. I came here a few months ago and cannot recall the gelato flavors but we tried all three and were not disappointed in the least. I hope to come back here soon!!“

But the main reason why we came were the vey positive food reviews. “I’m so happy our original Christmas Eve reservation was cancelled and we found this gem. It was perfect. Romantic ambience, beyond excellent service, food was delicious, drinks were strong. My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. Main: -The wood fired fish for two: they brought the fish out from the kitchen to show us the fish in flames and that was very cute and appreciated -Meatless Rigatoni: I seriously held on to this dish to the very last moments even though I didn’t have enough room to finish it lol I was obsessed with the sauce Dessert: - Panna Cotta: the balsamic reduction was something I did not expect with this dessert but it was magical“

“Truly lovely experience all around. We were welcomed into this cozy spot by a friendly staff with Kimi taking extra care to make our evening pleasant. Seating is limited with reservations becoming necessary to guarantee a space, but honestly the space is the perfect set up for good conversation. The wine list was nicely curated—we chose the 2017 Super Tuscan, which was smooth, rich, and paired well across the meal. We began with the antipasto. The quality was immediately apparent... the prosciutto was buttery on the palate and the house pickled veggies added a bright, fresh note. For the mains, the cacio e pepe had the perfect creamy texture (I need the chef to teach me their ways for this!), well-balanced salt to black pepper, and good bite to the pasta. My husband was lucky enough to snag the final duck ragu special of the evening and (wow!) we're so glad to have done so. Perfectly cooked with tender meat and flavors that transported us right back to the osterias on the streets of Italy. We ended with the tiramisu (light and creamy) and a pistachio affogato, which did get a bit outshined. Hospitality was top notch here making this is a “must add” meal experience for your list. We will definitely be returning for more.“
