“This is an amazing restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and the best Caribbean restaurant in Westchester County. Customer service is polite and welcoming with speedy service!Vegetarian options: There is a Vegan selection on the menu!Parking: There is amble amount of parking that includes street parking and a parking lot adjacent across the street from the establishment.Kid-friendliness: Booster chairs available for children if needed. Beverage samples for children when you dine in to wait for food.“
“Another great dining experience at Lenny's. Made a table request for a specific reason and Lenny gladly obliged. He's a very smart restauranteur in that he works the room continuously to insure that standards are met. Great, quality steaks and he doesn't pound you on price like most steakhouses feel they can, because they are a steakhouse. Besides great steaks they have an enormous amount of specials, both appetizers and entrees, each night so if you're not a meat eater, no need to worry. The 4 other guests in our party absolutely loved their first trip there. Will return soon.“
“So on a Saturday night- the vibe was vibing! The hostess was super friendly, engaging and welcoming. That was just the beginning. From entry to exit, we had an amazing experience. The specialty cocktails are a definite Yes!! And the food??? Nothing but good things to say - fish is super fresh and the octopus was spectacular. Just go!“
“The food was a delicious blend of tastes, and the atmosphere was quite welcoming. It's a very nice atmosphere: Let's talk about the cuisine, starting with starters that I personally think are the best. A restaurant's atmosphere can be just as significant as the food. Paneer tikka, samosa chat, kungfu gobi, or we go straight to the main meal, depending on taste Rogan josh, Pollicha Meen , the last time I went to this restaurant with my friends, I was blown away by the food. Every time I go, the staff surprises me with new dishes like vindaloo wings and Manchurian balls . I will definitely be returning to taste more of their cuisine.“
“I recently dined at Aberdeen Restaurant in White Plains, NY, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, offering a perfect setting for both casual and special occasions. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The menu at Aberdeen is a delightful fusion of flavors, showcasing the best of Cantonese cuisine with a modern twist. Each dish we ordered was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The Dim Sum selection is a must-try; it’s easily some of the best I’ve had outside of Asia. The Peking Duck was another standout, perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender meat. What truly sets Aberdeen apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided, making it a great value.I highly recommend Aberdeen Restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in White Plains. It's a culinary gem that shouldn't be missed. Five stars aren't enough to describe the impeccable service, exquisite food, and welcoming atmosphere of this restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!“
“Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! Happy eating!Vegetarian options: Please read my review regarding the cooking of the vegetables. If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“
“Excellent quality food, generous portions at reasonable prices! From the outside, this place looks like a plain-looking slice shop, but it is so much more than that. The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“
“Great place to eat Dominican food in White Plains, NY. Santiago and the rest of the staff was very nice and making sure we were good. The grilled salmon was delicious and wifey loved the steak sandwich. Will definitely come back for some ASOPAO!Thanks guys!! ???????“
“came here West Best Fish Market!!!!! i had the filet with mango sauce! best fish i have ever tired. you can taste the West Best Fish Market. only thing that sucks is you have to get there early. they close. good thing i had made it right on time.“
“All I can say is Wow! Best Dominican food! My family and I celebrated my mother’s 60th birthday at Richies Kitchen and I cannot express how amazing our experience was. From the staff to the food, I can’t say enough good things about this place. The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The food was immaculate and delicious. You can truly tell Richie really takes pride in making sure his customers have an incredible experience at his restaurant. The cuban sandwich, ox tails with rice and peas, pernil with rice and peas, mixed appetizer tray and the fried fish all highly recommended. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The passion fruit juice was amazing. We can not wait to go back and eat again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time and an unforgettable evening.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu!“
“The food and its presentation is always a delight at Brothers. Their ceviche is superb. For the first time, we sampled their salted vanilla home-made ice cream. At Brothers you don't just get a cup of ice cream. Instead you get 3 dollops of ice cream surrounded by blackberries and piped whipped cream. Everything they serve tastes better because of its look.“
“We just had a surprise birthday party for my mother’s 60th with about 30 people. The restaurant is small and very “cozy”. Everything from the food to the service was excellent and they went above and beyond in making sure that it was a good night. We did the typical family style and everything came out perfectly. Will definitely be returning for future events and dinners. Thanks again!“
“This was the best Mexican food I’ve had in Westchester, hands down. It was delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection. It seems to be more of a takeout spot, as there are only three sit down tables, but we ate inside and were greeted with wonderful hospitality. Maya Riviera nearby is much more of a sit down restaurant, but the quality of the food is very mediocre and does not even come close to Maya’s Taqueria!“
“The hash browns were great!the staff friendly. The didn’t do the change in food we asked for, but that happens everywhere sometimes. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict tasted a bit “out of a tub”, but again it tastes like that in most restaurants. Overall we were happy and would come again!“
“My sister, a bride to be, and three friends went to this restaurant this evening and enjoyed wonderful meals. Not only were the owner and service staff catches, so was the food! All 5 of us would like to come back soon; we feel as though we were guests in their house. Teşekkür ederim.“
“Excellent Prime Cut of Meat. Delicious and perfectly cooked. Sides are excellent perhaps except for the tomato-onion which may have been out of season? Otherwise, every side dish was amazing. Lunch for 9 of us - over the top service, excellent bartenders/cocktails. Delicious reasonably priced wine options. Love this restaurant for a great steak.“
“It was our first time last night and we celebrated my wife's birthday. The drinks were good. The food was delicious. Our server, Rosie, was a doll. She catered to the birthday celebrant's needs. We're definitely going back on Prime Rib Mondays.“
“We found this amazing spot by mistake and so happy we did.. the food is always delicious and fresh and the owner is the nicest person, she’s always welcoming and accommodating. As a vegan the owner always ensures that my meals are just that.. vegan! After only the second visit she recognized us and made us feel like friends. I would recommend Chok Dee Thai to anyone looking for a casual yet delicious dining experience.“
“Came here on a Monday night. My daughter did 'make your own pizza' - the guy helping her was very friendly and patient. Kids get to make a personal sized pizza (they roll out the dough, put sauce, cheese, and any toppings).I got the ribs with loaded mashed potatoes and their version of a Moscow Mule. All good stuff and fairly generous portion. Food was great and so was service.“
“Cool new spot in town! I was reluctant to try this place out but I decided to give it a try after seeing a nice crowd in there. It turns out there is a new owner, he just kept the name of the place the same. A mistake in my opinion but at least he did one good thing. He hired a great bartender named I know from Barrel and Brew. This guy can make a great drink and he is so personable. He interacts well with guests and designed a great menu of drinks. I enjoyed a couple of delicious margaritas while I was there. They also had a DJ named Bronson playing some great music. I look forward to seeing how this place does because I've always said this spot would make a great bar because of the nice patio outside. It would make a great hangout for the summer. I can't really comment on the food because I only tried an order of wings but they were good. The ambience though gave me reason to believe this place could make it at this spot.“
“I chose the place for family Thanksgiving dinner based on its quaint location and reviews. We all were impressed with the menu and a recent visit too Portugal. The 4 course menu had many delicious sounding dishes so choosing was hard. We chose soup, sautéed portobello mushrooms, whole sardines, clams, grilled seafood combo and bouliabase. All soups, juices and sauces were very watery and tasteless. So was the potato garnish. The sardines and grilled seafood were well cooked and good as were the veggies. No complaints on the desert buffet. The atmosphere was great and the service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the food disappointed the 4 of us.“
“Went during the week for my birthday. Had the Sayola salad for 2 and the Paella Valencia which is a dish that you can split with your partner. Also had the half pitcher of Sangria which is delicious and potent because it doesn't appear to be watered down with ice. We were too full for “
“A great new and refreshing Mexican restaurant with very authentic food. The service is fast, the music and ambiance are delightful. The drinks and barria tacos are a must try, they will not disappoint. If you're in the area stop by and see for yourself.“
“I decided to get Wanna Empanada for my son's 4th birthday party instead of the go-to pizza. Wanna Empanada responded very quickly to me with a catering menu and were so easy to work with. We picked up the empanadas the night before since our party was on a Sunday. They provided instructions on how to reheat and packaged the empanadas so beautifully that we didn't even need to pull out serveware to display them. We ordered 7 different kinds for a total of 78 empanadas and every single one was delicious. We hosted 20 people at our place and were only left with 6 empanadas as leftovers. Our guests insisted on taking leftovers and could not stop eating them. Afterwards, I received texts from our guests telling me how delicious the empanadas were. The outside are the perfect thickness and perfectly crisp and they are STUFFED with filling. No skimping here. We will now be expected to serve empanadas at our gatherings instead of our usual pizza.“
“Great food! There is a variety of food and seafood boils to choose from! I got the Deep End Special, totally recommend! Additionally, I love the strawberry fruit tea with mango popping boba. You must give it a try the next time you come. On top of that there was great service. Elaine was an amazing manager and she handled all of my needs. Come try the next time you’re at Yonkers!“
“Mister Chen’s is my new favorite Chinese food spot in Mamaroneck. Today was my first visit to this location and I was blown away at how authentic the food was. I am from Flushing, where the majority of restraunts are asian-based, but I would honestly choose this place over the ones in my area. They have a wide variety of Chinese dishes at Mister Chen’s, ranging from soup dumplings to noodle dishes and fried fish. The salt and pepper fried fish along with their fried rice was my favorite and paired really well. Not only was the food really tasty, the service and the ambiance was also very welcoming. I will be back again, for sure.“
“My favorite steakhouse!! The steak is aged prime, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, I must say the lamb chops are also outstanding, too. All the sides are delicious. My favorite is the brussels sprouts. This was the old Zachys wine store. The transformation is beautiful, it has a city vibe, and it is decorated tastefully.Kudos to the amazing and attentive staff, including the bartenders.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps, and the bath is large. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.“
“Been going like a year now great fish however every time , I deal with this one ladie she always seems to have an attitude problem which I don’t understand I just come in order my fish I give a tip as well and even her I tip. So if she is working when I go now I usually wait for someone else . I wanna keep going but lately I just go to Whole Foods. Fish however is great!“
“This charmingly beautiful romantic steakhouse will serve you a delicious dinner that will make you feel like you’re on a special date. The menu includes an amazing selection and delicious desserts that will also make you want more. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The real bonus here is that you can choose delicious food at a reasonable price compared to other restaurants. A great place.“
“I had Portuguese and Italian food catered by Lusitania this past Sunday for my Bridal Shower and all 70 of my guests were raving about the delicious food. As always, the take out experience is just as great as dining in. Thank you thank you thank you!“
“Just had dinner with my parents here and had an absolutely AMAZING experience! My dad had the butternut squash soup and the jumbo lump crabcake, My mom had the seafood linguine, I had the seafood risotto and we all shared one of the specialty souffle for dessert, specifically the pistachio white chocolate one. My mom also had an apple cider martini and I had the blueberry lemon drop martini. Everything was incredibly delicious and tasty and our server Atila was super attentive, respectful and sweet. 10/10 would recommend you come here! And I just want to double down on the souffle because it was so light, airy, soft and not too sweet but just sweet enough. It was perfect!“
“These portions are large and in charge. My in laws were eyeing Roma down for quite some time, and we finally found a day that wasn’t packed for a walk in dinner service. At 7:30PM the place had only a handful of seats open and looked like the servers were a tad overwhelmed. We got seated after about 5 minutes of waiting at the door. The place had AC blasting when it was 30 degrees out so we had to ask management to turn it off. Thankfully the server brought us freshly warm bread to keep us occupied while we waiting to order. We started with the burrata, a special for the day, and the eggplant. Considering I’m usually picky about eggplant, both were excellent! For the mains we got the chicken parm, arugula pizza and the famous lasagna. The chicken parm was about as big as my head. I was told the lasagna was fantastic. The pizza was fine- nothing special about it, but I did like it was thin and wood oven charred. Overall I think we found a new place for big family get togethers.“
“Food was great! Service was greatI had the lobster roll with Broccoli as a side, it came with coleslaw as well (I don't even really eat slaw but this was pretty good).Lobster roll was loaded and flavorful. Broccoli was good as well, a tad bit salty.I also ordered a dessert to go because I was so full. I got the creme brulee which was great as well.He also gave me a little Berries and cream dessert since it was my birthday❤️Restaurant was a tad bit cold“
“Food was terrible. I didn’t enjoy the cheesesteak at all. So bad I almost ordered a second one as soon as I was done so no one else would have to suffer. If you can’t tell I’m kidding please order off the children’s menu. Pete’s has always had great food and still does. But don’t get the cheesesteak, those are for me.“
“I didn't know what to expect upon arrival. The food was DELICIOUS!!! It was definitely worth the travel from Connecticut to Yonkers, NY.The prices were reasonable especially for the quality of the food! They have so many options, I want EACH OF EVERYTHING!!!Go because it's great food, but also go to support a Black owned business. This young man and his family are in a business that is rough. It is hard work, and the profit margin is slim, but one can see he loves his work.“
“It's been years since I've been here and I forgot how good it was. Everything was amazing. We started with the octopus small plate. I was worried when it came out fried and not grilled, but it was so tender, so flavorful. I had the halibut over mushroom risotto and DH had the whole black bass. Portions were large, taste was amazing. Can't wait to return to try other dishes!“
“When we arrived for our reservation, we were greeted & seated right away. The waiter attended to us immediately. The service, Food excellent. The owner came over a few times to check on us. Very friendly, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend. The owner sent us an after dinner drink. very classy“
“Food has been amazing and inventive every time we’ve been here. The only restaurant I know in the area where the prices are justified, that constantly surprises my taste buds and makes me excited to go out to eat. Other restaurants in Westchester should study this - this place really wants to serve people great food!“
“Great restaurant; we ate here as a party of 6. the menu is very eclectic and that was helpful because some of the guests are picky eaters. The restaurant was very accommodating as we arrived late for our reservation. Overall great experience; will definitely be back.“
“Food was very good. We ordered the daily special appetizer which was the clam casino. It was very fresh & had a whole clam in each shell, not minced clam meat mixed with lots of breading? Our waiter, Sebastian was very good, attentive to our questions and selections of entrees.“
“The best... clean.fresh.their shrimp are soooooo fresh, meaty, and sweet....The snap upon bit is like whoa...you can see that they take good care of the products..It's always clean, everyone ain't touching the goods...it's near..and I travel far just to buy a lot of shrimp every month... all sizes..you will NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED ... Trust and believe...This spot is OFFICIAL!!!. I will know if my daughter tried to pass off others shrimp because she ain't want to drive their...lol I won't eat it... UNLESS ITS FROM THIS SPOT!!!“
“First time having poke anywhere, and I was impressed. It was a complete flavor and texture bomb with cold and hot elements, too. I got the Philly, and it was fantastic. The everything seasoning made it a smidge salty. Paid $16.14.Parking: Tons of parking available.“
“For the past year I have been coming here. The food has so much flavor and the portions are huge. They have an extensive menu with lots of choices. From apatizers, pizza and main dishes you can’t go wrong. Great selection and fantastic food! Thanks for being a great place.“
“Everything was very good! At first, when we arrived, I was concerned that the restaurant didn't look as it did online. However, when they took us to the back patio, we were pleasantly surprised. The only complaint was that, for some of us, it was either chilly, despite the patio heaters or too hot, because of the heaters. But, overall, a very nice experience.“
“Where do I startAmbiance is beautiful they have a pink room good for flicks very small and secluded it was fairly empty which after I ate I wondered why on a SaturdayMusic was great mix of old school rnb and reggaeWe ordered the oxtails soul food rice and fish it wasssssss soooooooo good although it took a little while found out every order is made fresh and it tasted like it 10/10“
“Loved the authentic Italian cuisine, with options and modifications for vegetarians and gf diners. Vegan options are limited if you are gluten intolerant but if you’re not, my husband had the vegetarian pizza without the mozzarella and loved it. I had gf mussels marinara and the California salad, my kids had fried calamari, fries, pizza and gnocchi bolognese and everyone enjoyed the food.“
“I didn't even know this place existed until a friend suggesting going here for dinner and I'm so glad. This place is a hidden gem.***In a rush? Skip to the end for my tips.*** When we arrived, they were getting ready for a private event later that evening, but they still let us stay and eat. The owner patiently waited (and had to come back several times) because it took us a bit of time to make up our mind. Everything sounded so good, so it was hard to choose just a few dishes. We were very happy with our choices. Everything was delicious!- Shrimp burger - I already knew that the texture would be like a patty consistency of minced shrimp, but my friends were surprised because they were expecting whole shrimp pieces in the burger. I was a fan of the dill sauce on it, but if you don't like dill, maybe ask for it on the side? The dill taste and smell is strong, which goes perfectly with the shrimp burger.- Empanada Sampler - I wish I remembered what flavors were included in this, but everything was super good.- Mofongo Supreme - The mofongo was delicious and it came with pieces of cheese, shrimp, and steak. Definitely need to go back to try the lobster mac and cheese that everyone seems to be raving about and try their other dishes, as well, which all sound delicious.Tips: - There is plenty of street parking nearby and even a municipal parking lot to the left of the restaurant (if you are facing the restaurant).- It seems like a lot of people do take-out so that is an option, too.- We went on a Saturday night and left around 8:30 and they were supposed to be opened until 11:00, but they closed early for a private event, so maybe you should call ahead to make sure that they are open for guests or pick-up. Someone stopped by and was disappointed that they were closed early.“
“...best gyro I've had in Yonkers by far, no lie. The chicken is also really good, also no lie. And the people who run it are really personable...no lie as well.I've heard this place has went downhill since my initial review due to new management. For the time being I would rely on more recent reviews. I will investigate for myself and update mine in the coming days.“
“Everything was excellent. We spent more than we expected, but price would be the same in any good steak house. A gin martini was excellent, all the sides were excellent and no need to mention the various cuts of meat we had... all excellent. Service was impeccable.“
“Everything about Red Hat is special except the prices, especially for drinks. If only the restaurant offered one or two affordable options for beer or a glass of wine for less than $16! I ordered a lite beer (which I don't particularly like) just to avoid sticker shock.“
