“We had another wonderful experience at Capital Grille. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the manager Rick, who escorted us to our table. He assigned an attentive waiter (Turon) who took great care of us throughout the meal. Another manager, Amy, also checked on us, was very warm and friendly, and we had a great conversation with her. All the food was delicious and we appreciated the chef making something we liked that isn't on the menu. He generously treated us with a yummy amuse-bouche. Overall we had another outstanding visit. “We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“
