“Wanted my traditional New Year's dinner from Ling Lings. Don't know who is leaving 1 star reviews or why. After reading them, I thought maybe it was different owners, or something major changed. Found out there are new owners. Any changes have been for the best. My friend ordered last week, and said her food was still as good as always. So glad I decided to order from them again. I had the Tien-Fu lunch combination meal, wonton soup, egg roll, and an order of crabmeat rangoons.... Everything was excellent ! Cooked to perfection. Eggrolls better than ever before. I specifically go there often for the wonton soup which is filled with wontons and very flavorful. Also the crabmeat rangoons, are the best ! So, trust my review.....The other 1 star ones are probably written by the competition.....who want Ling Ling's customers... Never gonna happen !Happy New Year !“
“We ordered from both the Indian and Asian menus. We ordered fried rice, orange with shrimp and chicken masala. The food was very tasty and flavorful. Our server, Moon, promptly greeted and seated us and advised on tge menu selection. The combination of friendly and courteous service and delicious food created an enjoyable experience. “We had such a great experience! The food was fresh and delicious. We got the garlic naan, Butter Chicken, Thai Soup, Wonton and Lamb biryani. “Authenticity off the charts!!!! Lunch here is unbeatable. First, a tea pot of green tea as soon as you sit down and cloth napkins and a packed spot. Got kung pao chicken and it was balanced and the perfect portion. A little too many water chesnuts. Fried rice was awesome. Pho was great but too much. And also didn't like that that beef came inside not letting me cook it myself. Sesame chicken good. Prices awesome. Will try again. Nice server.“

“Always love coming to Golden Hill! This is my fourth time coming here, l've come alone and brought friends too! The service is always wonderful and the restaurant itself is small and peaceful. My go-to dish is the Tom Kar with shrimp, it's comforting and the flavor is delicious. The sautéed string beans are a must, they're seasoned to perfection! Also got the Szechuan style sliced fish and I would recommend if you like spicy food. I’ve also went basic and gotten orange chicken and crab rangoons and they were both very satisfying and flavorful! Surprisingly, I've never witnessed it being busy but they're always getting phone calls and preparing takeout orders so l assume that's where most of the business comes from.“
“If you're looking for slightly elevated American Chinese food (with a couple of Thai options), this place is right up there with Red Pepper in Amherst as one of the best take-out spots in the suburbs.We don't eat meat so I can't speak to those dishes, but the General Tso Tofu and vegetarian fried rice and lo mein are all excellent. No weird yellow dye fried rice here, it's all very fresh.There is also a small discount for cash orders so I always stop at the ATM before picking up my order. “A friend and I came here lunch one weekend. He'd been there a couple of times and this was my first time so it was interesting. It is small to say the least but they have a few tables for dining inside. We luckily got a table and we figured out what we wanted for lunch. They do have a good selection for their menu so variety is great. My friend ordered stir fried noodles and a scallion pancake (he ordered some lo mein to go) and I got the spring rolls and shrimp lo mein. The portions were large for the price and the food it was delicious. I will have to come back to order takeout from them in the future just to see what they offer.“
“We came over to Fort Erie to shop for a few things we cannot find at our US grocery store so we decided to drop in for an early dinner at Happy Jacks. I love Chinese food and my husband has been telling me Fort Erie is a great place for Chinese restaurants. We were mulling over the Dinner for 2 selections when Alvin stopped at our table to help us decide. He kindly agreed to substitute one of the dishes listed and told us we couldn't go wrong. The food was absolutely delicious and I am happy that we had some leftovers to enjoy at home tonight. The only minor issue was my husband wanted the Hot and Sour soup instead of Won Ton, and when he mentioned it to our server she had no issue making that change for him. On our way out we met Jack Jr. who wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was! Prices were very reasonable and all of the food was good. I am hoping we can make the trip over to Fort Erie to eat here more often.“
“I was having a hard time when i walked into the store hoping for some pizza, but little did i know, this was an asian restaurant that in fact did NOT sell pizza. i was showing an expression of disappointment, but i never needed the pizza. i just needed the dumplings that were hand fed to me on a platter of gold. i was dang to and fanned with olive branches while i was given a massage on my shoulders and feet simultaneously. after the massage and food, they saw my baby and asked if he was yet baptized. i responded no so the chef went to walmart and got a baby pool and then baptized my baby followed by me, my entire family, everyone eating in the restaurant and the entire staff. I was given a beautiful goodbye that made me feel like i was at disney world. it was truly such and enlightening and blissful moment i am so happy to have experienced with my family. the noodles were also great. this was honestly one of the best restaurant with the kindest staff“

“I work in the area three days a week. I would order from here all three days, but I don't, lol. I always get the general Tsos chicken, and my clients always try something new. It's all always delicious. I stick to the general Tso's because it's the best I have had. It's a small place, family owned and run by very nice people. There are a couple of tables, but it's mostly a take out place. If you're in the area and haven't tried it, you must. You will not be disappointed.“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant in Buffalo. I went there about 10 years ago when I moved to Buffalo from Brooklyn. I was heartbroken when they closed down a few years ago. Imagine my surprise when they reopen, and they were as good as ever! The restaurant is small but homey with a friendly staff, I especially enjoy chatting with the older gentleman. The food portion is ample, with sides. I can't recommend this place enough. I drive over 30 minutes to get my food. “Very pleased. We have tried a variety of places in the area for Chinese and have been fairly disappointed. Wok and Roll did not disappoint. We had Moo Goo Gai Pan and Cashew Chicken, also the Won Ton soup. We found all to be prepared well with sauces not being oversalted and the ingredients of very good quality. Plenty of cashews in that dish and the Won Tons were a generous amount in a delicious broth. The place was clean and efficient. This will be our "go-to" moving forward. Thank you Wok and Roll!“

“Restaurant conveniently located down stairs of our hotel. I did not have high expectations coming from Toronto. I was very surprised how legit the food was. Portion was large and the ingredients was fresh. The food is as good as Toronto. Prices were reasonable considering the large portion they serve. “Don't be fooled by the tiny little restaurant Chan Wok, tucked into the Tops plaza off North French. This place has the best Chinese/fusion food in Erie or Niagara County. I ordered through postmates and always get hot, sumptuous foods. The soup is cleaner and fresher than Pho, all the entrees are good enough for left overs and savory, spicy, favorites and sides. The bag is never wet, the food is hot to the touch, and really reasonably priced. I think delivery is the best way to go as the little restaurant isn't very large. I have had some baad delivery here but Chan Wok off North French is consistently fresh, hot, and a great value for a large group too.“

Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“

“This is a very nice place the staff here are so friendly and nice, I remember I was talking to the cashier and we bonded because my name is “Erik” with a “K” and her sons name is Eric with a “C” I remember she told me a story that when she was in Canada going back to the US the border patrol officers name was Erik with a “K” but he said apparently the proper way to spell Eric was with a “C” I don’t know but she was really nice and friendly. “A hidden gem! Usually it is slow inside and kind of dark but the food is delicious. The cashew chicken is amazing. Their sweet and sour sauce is a little thick and will die your fingers (as learned from my 2 year old! lol). The ladies are super helpful and nice whenever we go.
