“Our first stop in Brooklyn after a longer drive, we ordered 1/2 egg and potato sandwich with fried eggplant and it was delicious. It was also more food than we could have finished haha. The people behind the counter worked super quick and were also extremely nice. They only take cash.“
“Finally i got to try the famous “Schiacciata” dell’Antico Vinaio, after i was craving it since years, i had the pleasure to be served by Matteo, very knowledgeable and he suggested me the best schiacciata i could try!!Thank you Matteo, gonna be back for sure, grazie!!!“
“Feels like a tourist spot. $26 Ruben. $3 soda. The sandwich was awesome, you’ll just pay for it. Good spot for you to order online, pick up and go. Better to eat at a park near by, Not much room to eat inside. There’s a few tables out front. Trendy neighborhood, this place is not going anywhere. I would come back for sure.“
“The most authentically delicious arancinE and sfincione this side of the Atlantic besides nonna’s! A sincere thank you to the friendliest hosts and staff as our group of fifty high school students and chaperones invaded their beautiful bottega! This place is amazing! Grazie di cuore in particolare allo staff!“
“I got myself a hold of their "The Bomb" sandwich and at $25, it definitely is legit. Heavy, solid sandwich with tons of meats, cheese, and dressing. Can't speak to anything else other than this sandwich is worth trying if you're nearby.“
“Amazing breakfast sandwich. Chicken sausage was so good and flavorful, spicy mayo was perfect. Perfectly toasted brioche was the cherry on top. They have a full menu and specials like corn bread french toast and shrimp and grits, will try that next time. Cappuccino was really good. Few seats inside, handful of tables outside. Food was made to order and unexpectedly very quickly. We left and almost came back to get something to go for lunch. Definitely recommend!“
“Delicious panini and baked goods! Service is always very friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite places in Astoria! Great for dine in, takeout, or delivery. They have a lovely outdoor patio in the back, and the indoor dining space is cute as well.“
“Faicco’s prepares authentic, delicious Italian comfort food in the outskirts of downtown Sarasota. Long time Family run business that still operates in Manhattan and Brooklyn that opened Sarasota a couple years ago. Many of the specialties like Fresh mozzarella and sausages are family made from scratch. As good as it gets!-fred g.“
“Split the pepe and artichoke salad and both were so good! The artichoke salad was one of the best salads I’ve had. Simple yet so much flavor. Will try to make it at home! Also came during happy hour and got a $5 glass of wine. Was a great dinner!“
“Cute place with delicious French sandwiches. Its a small place and there are only a couple of seat yourself tables, so expect to take your order to go. The staff was super friendly and obviously enjoy what they do. So many places make you feel like you should thank them for taking your money. This place makes you feel like you are family. If you seak French, it's an even better experience. From the soup, to the cappuccino and everything in between, we loved it all!!“
“Grabbed takeout from here and WOW. The pork roll was so so so good. The baguette was crisp and it had the perfect ratio of meat to vegetables. There's some lovely tea options as well, but the banh mi is the standout. This... might be the best Banh mi I've ever had? It's that great.“
“Ordered the Italian hero, and they threw in a tuna roll too, absolutely recommend you give it a try, get away from the chain shops and try a real nyc deli! Fair price for a sandwich on the move, the business is 35 year old and lasted for a reason! All the best catch you next time!“
“I meet the owner was really nice and laid back decided not to change the music after I told him it was appropriate for the area I tried the BBQ bacon cheeseburger it was amazing finally a burger that's not smashed I also tried the macaroni and cheese the different types of cheese are really good but it would be better if it had at least salt and pepper“
“Had a little hiccup with the computer putting in our order. Something I don’t think happens often, so the wait for food was long, but the waiter made up for it with a great personality and giving us coffee and hash browns. Food was great, really enjoyed a weekday “
“Been hearing about Joe's bar on the Taste Buds podcast. The fam and I were in NYC for vacation and coming here was a great decision. The sandwiches were phenomenal, beer was cold, service was friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in NYC!“
“I came here with a friend after roaming around the neighborhood while we waited for our table at Evelina. We walked in and immediately were drawn to the great selection of pantry items they had (sucker for colorful labels as well). I’m not a big cook so it kind of inspired me to want to try some recipes just to incorporate some of the items we saw. After looking around for a bit we walked out and decided we definitely wanted to come by another time to check out the sandwiches, well that some time turned into a few hours later when we got hungry again and wrangled our other friend to come to the shop with us.While looking at the menu the guy behind the counter was super nice and asked what we were in the mood for, while we looked over the wide selection of sandwiches he gave me a taste of the buttermilk fried chicken in the Korean sauce they had and WOW it was soooo tasty and juicy. I ended up getting the Korean fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and pickled onions. My friends both got the friend whiting sandwich and they absolutely loved it.Call us creatures of habits but we ended up going back again the next day to try another sandwich because we were craving it so much! 1 whiting sandwich, 1 shrimp po boy and I got the chicken cutlet with Calabrian chili aioli and wow, someone needs to bottle that chili aioli and sell it!So happy to have such a nice neighborhood spot (just discovered it but I see they’ve been open since 2021) with such amazing customer service and great sandwiches. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“A Brooklyn Tradition!! First time there What a pleasure It's small room you go into Got the Beef Broth outstanding Roast Beef with Onions roll dipped in the broth Each bite was epic & savored to the very last bite Cheeseburger was good nothing to write home about Fries Corn Nuggets Delish Sweet tasting Chicken Wings nice crunch This is a must go 2 if your ever in Brooklyn or live there 5/5 Fuhgeddabouits“
“Their Gluten Free Bagels are amazing. I ordered online which was a mistake - it said it would take 45 minutes to be ready but when I walked over there 5 minutes later it was ready (phew!) and I think I was charge a fee. So ORDER but not online!Love love love the bagels.“
“I met Ari upon arrival into the Deli and was presently surprised by interaction. He was kind, considerate and very nice to meet. The food here is absolutely amazing. Both the staff and food are something you definitely do not want to miss out on. Next time you come to Brooklyn make sure to stop by John’s Deli!!“
“Delicious Rouben sandwich - great proportions of pastrami and sauerkraut. The bread is not an ordinary slice of white bread, but a deliciously toasted and slightly fatty slice. In my and my wife's opinion, one of the best Rouben sandwiches in NY. We will definitely come back at the next opportunity - hopefully as soon as possible.“
“Delicious Mediterranean cuisine with a good variety of vegan options. The soup was fantastic it was flavorful, hot, fresh it warmed my soul. The restaurant is clean, the prices are reasonable, food is good quality. I highly recommend this place. Good for dine in or take out.“
“Outstanding sandwiches! Have been here for over 40 years and when you try one of their sandwiches, you will know why.A few seats inside and there are two parks nearby...one a few feet away on Sullivan and the other around the corner on 6th Ave.Great staff.Truly the best in NYC by far.“
“I live on the other side of the park and I don’t think twice about trekking here when I’m craving a sandwich (hot or cold). Fresh, high quality everything and the BEST seeded rolls. The food + the neighborly owner and staff really make this place a gem that you’re sure to return to.“
“Nuru is very friendly and gives a good customer service. Every time I go there he knows what I want and how I want my sandwich. Quick service; the line move very fast with him. Also the Mexican man offer a very good customer service and he’s friendly too. Keep the good work!!! Thank you guys. ??????“
“Stumbled upon this joint randomly on my way home and what a surprise! The staff is really friendly and explained some of the sandwiches for me, decided to get the Chimi with chicken and the lava cake. Both were delicious and not the mention the fair prices.Although they don’t have an indoor sitting area, they have a small outdoor hut if you’d like to stay and dine in.Truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood, can’t wait to try some of their other specialities!“
“Great service from a friendly crew. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Menu is a bit weird but seems to be highly customiziable, probably a good place to order online so you can see all the options available. Not a ton of seating indoors (2 seats) but there's a few tables outside.“
“I'd recently picked up 4 wonderful beers from 'Strong Rope, who offered no food, no food truck nearby. So when I walked around the corner to see the shiny metal caravan, on kitch fake grass, selling sandwiches, I was thrilled. My breakfast sandwich ($8) in the afternoon was very tasty and delivered with style. It was small. 5 stars would need a bigger sandwich. O would definitely eat here again, thankyou!“
“One of the best in Brooklyn, been coming coming here for a while, and all the sandwiches and fresh food are always on point and we'll priced. If your in the neighborhood and want a really sandwich or even a home made pastas and sauce to go check them out.“
“I was around the area and I stopped by this place to grab a sandwich. By the time I stepped in the two employees welcomed me with a warm smile. I placed a to-go order of the turkey meatball sub. I waited for almost ten minutes while they were prepping my sandwich. The place was very clean and organized and my sandwich was delicious! Good job guys“
“Service was fast and polite. Owner was amenable to my request for a totally plain burger for my picky eater son. Offered suggestions on our (adult) sandwiches, all together a terrific and delicious experience!Kid-friendliness: Owner was amenable to my request for a totally plain burger for my picky eater son. “Was craving an Italian so came here. First impression upon walking in is this place is going to have great sandwiches. I absolutely love the atmosphere. It's a classic sandwich shop with an eclectic vibe--there's signs and knick-knacks all over. They have a massive selection of sandwiches to choose from as well as a deli counter, a fridge with fresh mozzarella, salami, boylan sodas, and other goods. Got #103 the Little Italy Hero with mayo. Highly recommend. I chose that because it was basically an upscale version of a classic Italian with mortadella replacing the ham. Very delicious, served on good bread. Slightly too much meat for my personal preference. Also got a black and white cookie. It was decent. The cake part of the cookie was a bit dry. The chocolate is an icing that is quite messy but I enjoyed it. The white icing was pretty standard. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other sandwiches!“
“A great spot in the Forest Hills area! I was craving a burger and I saw this on yelp and came by! They have a variety of different beers on tap and in the fridge. They have a good amount of seating if you want to order some food, they have a variety of different kinds of food to order from wings, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, salad and more! The staff is super friendly and helpful! They also have TVs so you can watch a game while drinking a cold beer ! I definitely will be returning to try the wings!“
“I usually don't eat this late, but I was starving and stumbled upon this place on Uber Eats. After Googling them, I decided to give them a try. The chop cheese sandwich was delicious. I'm excited to try another sandwich - it was fresh, and the bread was so tender. I must say, I'm impressed, especially after midnight.Gingercooksnyc ?“
“The vegetarian options are incredible!! So filling and definitely worth it for the price. Also the little boxes that they come in are unreal cute, I get too excited to pop them open. The Gobbler (pictured) is my fav!!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are just as creative and delicious as the meat options. It’s clear that the vegetarian/vegan sandwiches are not an afterthought for this place, they are a prioritized part of the menu!!! (The Gobbler is my fav- it’s thanksgiving in a sandwich!)Dietary restrictions: Vegan options are delicious, vegetarian sandwiches easily made vegan by subbing cheese and eliminating mayo!!“
“I absolutely loved the Picnic Basket. I stumbled in here while visiting New York and I can't wait to visit again. I had a grilled Halloumi sandwich and the lentil soup they always have. The sandwich was fabulous but I could not stop talking about the soup! The staff was also very friendly and walked me through my order and recommended a special sauce I dipped my chips into. Love Picnic Basket!“
“They run this ship tighter than the navy. I recommend ordering online and picking up — even with the swarm of Business Bros I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, if at all. Every sandwich I’ve ever ordered has been great! Prices are standard for that of Dimes Square, maybe slightly lower. I salute the Toasties crew “
“Awesome deli with fantastic vegetarian/vegan options!I have tried the vegan Tex-Mex wrap, vegan Philly seitan, iKraveIt seitan and the simple vegan sandwich so far. All were delicious with my favorite being the Tex-Mex wrap. With a friendly staff, large portion sizes, and a few seats inside and a bench outside the deli, this place is amazing for cheap, delicious vegetarian/vegan sandwiches!“
“Came with 2 friends.Sandwiches and fries are great!Staff service is amazing. Guy gave us sanitizing wipes and extra napkins when he saw that we ran out.How would i describe the food? The fries r like mcdonalds fries but crispier and seasoned well. The no fork sandwich is like a largeeee costco hotdog with a toasted, really soft and light bun. Bread isnt too filling; perfect for a light lunch. The meat/cheese interior was supreme though“
“The best pastrami sandwich that I’ve had. Maybe I’m biased because I love baguette and the baguette here is warm & crunchy with very little extra bread inside. The spicy mayo and grilled onion are great as well.Pricier than normal but it is Kosher so that makes sense. Cant wait to come back to try pulled beef.I wish they have a bar so we can eat inside during NY winter ?“
“I found them on Google and decided to try them. At start, was hesitant as it appeared nit that busy, but was quickly proven wrong, so gave them a try. To much disbelief, the sandwiches were huge, delicious and simply "out of this world"!!Definitely recommend!! Flying out tomorrow and will stop in to grab breakfast sandwiches!!Great job to everyone!!Thanks,Kyriakos“
“- outdoor seating was so cute and heated!- workers were extremely nice- underworld wrap was delicious especially with the chipotle mayo sauce (andy loved the sauce so much he decided to put some on his pants to save for later!)- there was so much steak packed in there- the tortillas were light and airy-overall good experience definitely recommend- and the sauce was free!!“
“Heard about this place online and wanted to try it. Price wise, its around the same price as the other food in the area. The paninis were okay. Honestly, if I gave you a panini from a local popular corner deli and this place, this place would be slightly better. Give this place a shot and you can decide for yourself. I had the Cubano and it was okay.“
“We got a chocolate bundt cake for my boyfriend who is both gluten and dairy intolerant. It completely exceeded my expectations!! What was surprising was it was not super sweet, and the texture was dense and moist. Totally delicious!!!! I will NOT wait for another birthday to get one again soon! And the brownies were fab, too. Very dense, sweeter than the bundt cake, so, perfect if that is your preference. The folks that work there are super nice, too.“
“Got a chance to try this place as I was in the area and wow was this a great sandwich! I got the mini and it was HUGE! The bread and all the ingredients were fresh and it was just a very amazing sandwich I got the Ruben with provolone and it was top notch definitely will be back to try more sandwiches!“
“I am now addicted to malawach: puffy, layered, crispy on the outside, chewy. The BEC+L malawach wrap was fantastic - even delivered, I got the layers. The added crunch from the latke pushed this sandwich into better than breakfast burrito territory. The dairy-free tahini coffee slushie was also excellent. Well-packaged, no spills.“
“I've been coming here for many yrs, I'm a semi regular and it's always a pleasure coming in. From Felicia being amazing and always having a positive attitude to my service and food always being great, this is def the best Subway I've been to, especially after the renovations. The woman with the braided bun was the star of the show today for making an early release of the footlong sidekicks to me (thanks to management too) I got the churro and cookie one and it's so good, def recommend trying.“
“Amazing little spot that has excellent service, bagels and coffee! Coming from Canada it’s a joy to pop into places like this and still get amazing food. Going back for a bigger sandwich soon!Update: sausage egg and cheese is amazing. Better than the last one I had somewhere else!“
“Deliriously delicious shop in the East Village! The sandwich rolls were the best I've tasted in NYC and perfectly toasted. My love and I enjoyed The Hog, a vermicelli and meat salad with the best fish sauce, and a lamb taco. I especially was impressed with the cleanliness and food handling. Go to "about us" to read the interesting story of the two friends/owners who we were so fortunate too meet at Wheelers in Sheepshead Bay.“
“I love that there's always parking. The place is clean throughout. Don't sleep on the fried shrimp here, it is consistently bomb. It's disappointing that they only have prepackaged tartar sauce and no other offering to go with it. I hate American Cheese but this is the one place I'll tolerate and at times, indulge in it with the fries. I love their orangeade and appreciate that they include a chunk of actual fruit in it. I've been a customer for years and probably will be so long as I'm in NYC.“
“Just to say...Subway super delicious ? no complaints in this location. Very clean and organized with al the bababoom delicious choices!! Just will love if subway starts gluten free bread!! That will be awesome for those who needs gluten free hot beautiful bababoom awesome out of this beautiful blue planet delicious sandwich. And more. 100% recommended this location. Enjoy !! Be all safe and keeping healthy muuuah king size“
