“Came on a Wednesday afterwork. Ordered the Vale Cocktail and Big Apple Cider, both tasty and affordable. Was able to order the Tuna Melt during the Happy Hour time, very hearty sandwich with fries included, would recommend. Later in the night they started a fun game of trivia, no fee to participate, just use your phone to scan the QR code. Would recommend for a chill night with friends or coworkers after work.“

“I know this place just opened, but I extremely highly recommend. A few of my friends came to eat here and so I decided to give it a try. Walking in, I was surprised how there was literally no one there but a ton of workers which I guess was great for me as they were super attentive. I was a bit surprised by the prices were pretty high for something that was supposed to be take-out, but the minute they start making the shawarma, I knew why it was more expensive. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma platter and it was delicious! Perhaps one of the best shawarmas I've had in the city. First of all, they gave us a platter just for all the toppings, did I mention that they are unlimited, that they had. Sometimes the toppings don't have that much flavor, but each one was very complex and flavorful. The chopped salad was light and fresh which balanced out the finely chopped pickles which added a sour taste. The red cabbage slaw which was slightly savory and slightly sour balanced out the onions that had a slight charred on it. I was so delighted by all the different toppings, which is where I think the place definitely shines. The chicken itself was okay, tender but not crazier than normal. Overall, I had an amazing experience and especially with the portion sizes, the platter could easily feed a family of 4 with additional leftovers. I think it will take me at least 6-7 meals before eating it all but I did add some of my own rice to counteract the bounty of flavors. I will say that they don't automatically give you the rice or the fries so big reminder to ask them for that when you come.“

“Great cozy spot for a cold Sunday beer and grilled cheese. We got the Fun-ghi and Figgy Piggy and it was a good mix of sweet and salty. The shop has tons of fine foods for gifts or appetizers, a long fresh cheese bar, and craft beer to go. What more could you need!“

“I love this place. The chipotle chicken sandwich is amazing. The service is excellent. Humble interior, delicious food (try the wake and bake burger that has an egg and a hash brown) and reasonably priced. The servers have a great energy and are quick. As a local, I’d recommend this place to anyone around the area.“

“Climbing Wolf is a cafe that I compare all else to, their specialty coffee, atmosphere, friendliness and customer experience is above and beyond. The coffee blows me away each time and it is a wonderful place to be. As a local artist who has hosted several pop-up shops, I can say that the owner is overwhelmingly kind and has been generous in our collaborations. The baristas are also personable, knowledgable about specialty coffee and very willing to share advice for home the coffee enthusiast. Their coffee selection from the bar is always delicious. This is a must for anyone in Westchester looking for a perfect cafe.“

“What a delightful surprise. An inviting East Harlem locale with great music, cheerful and attentive staff. We will be dreaming of the tender lambchop appetizer on a scrumptious bed of couscous and labneh, and the salmon was perfectly cooked with an ultra-crispy skin. Lovely presentation. “Lovely place to stop and get a beer when in New York or in Harlem. The selection was based on local beers that were either supportive of women own breweries or LGBT focused. The bartender was very kind and super down to earth! ! We'll be returning next time we are in town.“

“— current review:The food is still amazing and so good that i would be back for it. but after speaking about this place to all of my friends and taking them there I was very disappointed with the service of this male server (dont recall nor made an effort to ask the name) but he was very “ironic” on the way to serve us and did not make us feel welcomed/comfortable like we always do. It felt like a weird interaction that all I wanted to do was eat and leave.— this was my previous review:Oh. My. God. This place is heaven on earth. I strongly recommend the pancakes and the jalapeño biscuit but honestly anything you order would probably be amazing as well.“

Easy to park across the street( big lot by the pier and condo complex). Kim was my witness and a delight, best service. Small comfortable room for listening and dinner if you want. Me. Just needed some tasty salsa and chips! Great time was had@“

“Was not impressed and don't need to go again. Our food was cold and the order was wrong. It was freezing outside and they had the door open so we had to eat in our coats. The shake is topped with cool whip not real whipped cream and the whole experience is not worth the cost.“

“This place is a gem among a very busy borough of bars and lounges. I went with a girlfriend in February to catch up. I had first come here years over eight years ago and was so happy it's just as quiant as I remembered it. Service was quite nice too. I will definitely come back soon.“
“This just may be my new favorite restaurant! We were referred to Ed's Elbow Room after failing to secure a reservation next door at Heidi's and this may be the best decision we have ever made. The food was amazing, the service by Wyatt is unmatched, and it was the perfect atmosphere for a long overdue date night. I will absolutely be coming here again!“

“We went on a Friday around 6, only a few customers in the place. Greeted by a friendly waiter who asked us to sit where we chose. Had the Yatenga salad for starters which the dressing was a bit bitter but the otherwise the salad was very fresh. Entrees were the chef special gambas and the mussels. Both plates were well presented, good portions, and very delicious. We ordered the apple tart for dessert which was ok.We will definitely be returning to try some of the other entrees.“

“Everyone is really nice , the food is good . 4 stars because they messed up our order a couple of times . Also , for a beer garden their selection of beer is very limited . Would recommend , but don't expect there to be a lot of beer options , that's misleading . Food was better than expected .“

“A must visit! This is my second time here. This place offers a great selection of traditional German beers in the “boots” or stein! The food here is very good. It’s also very traditional German food but they also offer some American options such as salmon and burgers. The ambience is comfortable and service is very great. Friendly staff!“

“This place was spot-on on every level! I recently tried the fried chicken sandwich they make and I couldn't believe that I actually found a fast food place that had a better quality chicken sandwich than Smash Burger's. The chicken meat was juicy, tender and tasty to the core! Iexperienced bliss with every succulent bite. Then it was time for the shake -- I was shook! The pistachio shake was heavenly! Thick but not too dense and very nutty-yum! The fries and onion rings were very crispy and they travelled well, surprisingly. The memory of that first meal will linger until my second visit. The service was quick and very efficient and the atmosphere was easy-going and unhurried. Also the price was right, for the quality of food. I cannot wait to try the burger! If you have not yet given Burger & Shake Co. a try, you should, today! Your palate and your belly will thank you.“

“The steak sandwich was tender and very flavorful, the stinger sandwich was crispy and juicy. Everything we had was flavorful, the frosé was good too. We went on a Saturday at 7:00pm and it was basically empty in there so we got seated right away. Great low key spot for a cheap but delicious bite.“

“I think Mya's Bar & Kitchen is an underrated spot. The food and service have not disappointed me yet and the space is an overall vibe. I've gone here several times and whether it's the honey shrimp, oxtail tacos, mac and cheese as well as sorrel drinks...Mya's Bar & Kitchen brings me joy. It's a well needed spot to the neighborhood and I hope more people come out to support this place. I don't want to see it go.“

“This is a beer parlor across the street from Columbia U. --and the food is all vegan! The food is beer-parlor comfort food: small bites, not super-health oriented--but super delicious. I had a BBQ Korean taco, my friend had sliders and a beer--we were both blown away. To emphasize: this is not a restaurant per se, but a beer parlor with a bunch of vegan food. I myself am not a beer drinker, but I noticed that they have loads of beers on tap, and I will return here anyway since the food is so good.“

“Very cute ambience. They have an outside patio for warmer weather. The table I sat was formed of a grandfather circular clock. The food was good and prices were decent. They do have a membership program which gives discounted prices for members (a dollar or two dollars off).“
“Azgardz has been a welcome night spot for me since the days of the lockdown. The main reason for this is Frank, the owner. This man has a very hands-on approach to the running of the bar that is refreshing to experience. The establishment stays open late, and there are a few good spots outside to enjoy a cigar with your spirits. There is also a street facing flat-screen to enjoy the Yankees or Mets.“

“The food is amazing! Everything is freshly made -- even some of the tortillas. The quality and care that goes into every dish really sets it apart. “My girlfriend and I stopped by Taco Zone for brunch on a Sunday after wanting to try it for some time and were impressed! I got the taco zone omelette and she got tacos. “This place has really good food. The pizza and the piadine were both excellent, far beyond what I was expecting. The place has been empty both times I went though. I think they could refine the concept a bit and do a better job aiming it at the office lunch crowd. Maybe a few more piadine or other lunch items that aren’t pasta or pizza, eg a salad with chicken. I also think they need to make it look more inviting from the outside - it looked closed until I got up to the window and saw someone behind the counter. Better lighting maybe? Also, a minor thing but it’s annoying that the menu is behind you when you are facing the counter. In any case, the food is great and I’ll be back for more.“

“Great place to have a beer and chat or get some work done. Fridge with 100+ beers and a bar with 20-30 beers on tap. Beers in the fridge change. I do wish there was a bigger belgian selection (there are like 4-5 beers in the fridge at a time) but I know this is my niche haha. Overall pretty great.“

“One of those places where it is what it is. Good value. Host was welcoming. Food was good, a little salty some dishes. Enjoyed the whole branzino and brussel sprouts the most. Cocktail yummy, not too strong. Super clean bathroom which is always a plus. Granted we went during colder weather so flies were on vacay. I'd return, but could see the possiblity of experiencing what some of negative reviews mentioned if they were busy and during summer months. If in area... Why not check it out.“

“I have been to Alternative Medicine Brewing Company twice and had positive experiences. I live in Brooklyn now and come up to see friends and family and I really wish this place was around when I when was living in Fleetwood. They make a very good IPA with Juice Cleanse, their environment is fantastic, they have a super cozy nook and the bathrooms are incredibly clean. Caribbean Soul Food literally hits the spot. Also, the owners and employees are super friendly. Mount Vernon really needs more great small businesses like this and I hope to keep coming back in the future for great beer.“
