“I coach the three young boys of the owners here for swimming and have been looking forward to trying out their restaurant. The food was so delicious and came out very quickly (within 15 mins of ordering) and once I got home I sat down and ate it all in one sitting. (Definitely enough food for 2-3 meals) The boneless spare-rips in particular looked and smelled incredIble as well as naturally colored and most importantly were absolutely delicious. On top of all that the owners are absolutely fantastic people and seeing how they treat their staff and guests it is easy to see how they are raising such incredible young men. Definitely recommend trying out and stopping next door to try the frozen yogurt shop (Swirls&Twirls) owned by the same family! (I know Ill be back!:))“

Sometimes I go during their later hours to grab a bite and they are still very enthusiastic. I’ve never had an issue with ordering from them and the food is great. Never too salty or too bland! “I often order a steamed chicken n broccoli meal with (chicken) fried rice which comes with a pint of (chicken noodle or wonton) soup. They also grow their own string beans at home n offer them to change up my meal now n then. Nice folks.
I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.“

“Over the years we have tried all the local spots and this has become our go-to! They know me by name now and know our special order for beef and extra well done eggplant in spicy brown sauce. So dang good! Also, the egg drop soup is one of the only things my picky toddler eats, so he has it for lunch every single day! Great food, delicious, great family that runs the place, clean. I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

“Great local Chinese restaurant with large portions and great prices, especially lunch specials. The owners and staff are very friendly, and service is quick, even if you decide to order at the place and take out. Love their brown and garlic sauce, which I compare regularly amongst local Chinese places. Food is always hot and the place is very clean, though I do wish that they had some sit down tables. After a few tries, we settled with yummy kitchen. Food is good and consistent every time we order.
