“We had a fantastic experience at Ditmar’s Thai in Astoria, New York. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic Thai cuisine.

My son Allen ordered the crispy duck, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I ordered the whole fried red snapper with coconut sauce, and it was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and of very high quality.

The wine was also delicious and paired beautifully with the meal. Our waiter was excellent very attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure we were enjoying our dinner.

The prices are fabulous for the quality of food and service. We will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommended!“

“I found this restaurant randomly while running errands, I've lived in the Bronx for 8 years now and this is by far the best pad thai I've had in all of New York. The pad thai was so flavorful and I got the beef with it. I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea and it was the perfect refreshment in this 100 degree weather. I've been seeing the mango sticky rice on TikTok recently and I was happy to see on the menu they also had Mango with sticky rice, which was packed with flavors as well. Will definitely be ordering from here more frequently.“

“Relaxing dining atmosphere with friendly staffs. There was no wait on Friday night, food came out quick, and portion was reasonable size. The Hunan Chicken was so so but soup dumpling and lobster creamy soup was great. Would come back again and good for large party size.“

“Ordered take out. Was looking for a great tasting sesame chicken made with white meat. Saw the reviews online and took a chance because so far the Asian restaurants I’ve been to do not make DELICIOUS sesame chicken. This place did not let me down. The sesame chicken was so delicious! I was so happy! This is, now, my go to place for sesame chicken. I didn’t like the dumplings. They were very doughy and chewy. No good. Next time I’ll order the Gyoza. Maybe that’s not doughy. I’ll try the fried rice too and see how that goes. But for sure I’ll be coming back!“

“In the area, I was seeking a great meal & found Saigon Table! First time visit, upon walking in, immediately realized this will be delicious! While dining I met Lynn, the owner. I mentioned the cha gio did not show lettuce & fresh herbs in the photo. She explained that most customers don’t eat it so they stopped including it… but rest assured they will include it upon request.

The chicken cabbage salad was really delicious as was the shaking beef salad. The grilled chicken wings were unique & tasty too. Every good Vietnamese meal includes an iced coffee. They did well, it was slightly less sweet than others I’ve had, but really was good!

This gem will be 2 years old May 25th, so head over & enjoy some authentic flavors of this wonderful find!“

“I wanted to give this place 3 stars because the ordering process is so inefficient. Took me 7 minutes to order a cheeseburger, couldn't make it into a meal unless I chose a specific restaurant... its all being made in the same kitchen, people like me do not care about the name associated with it. With that said, the food was pretty good. Ordering experience less than desirable. Staff was great, their point of sale, GARBAGE“

“This is my go to place for Chinese take out not because of its closeness to where I live, but because the food is good. I will say that it seems to get pricier each time. Last week I ordered a half chicken and a beef and broccoli that came out to just under $40. At these prices, it will no longer be my don't feel like cooking alternative. At least not as often. The food was excellent at least.“

“This restaurant is truly a staple in our community and serves some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Many people complain that the staff can seem unfriendly or guarded, but after serving a community that is often ungrateful and difficult, it's understandable that they may be cautious.

Too often, people don't appreciate what they have until it's gone. The food here is consistently delicious, fresh, and high quality. If you're looking for the cheapest option, this may not be the place for you—but I'd much rather pay a little extra for quality than settle for less.

This place is a 10/10 in my book, and I hope the community recognizes and supports this local gem.“
