“Great new spot for a solid A+ burger. The burger was outstanding super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients.

The surprise favorite for me was the cucumber salad. It was incredibly fresh, light, and refreshing; the perfect balance to the richness of the burger.

And the mozzarella sticks? Incredible. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and served piping hot. Easily some of the best I’ve had.

Great food, great service, and a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend! 🍔🥒🧀

It would be great if the volume was a bit lower for example near the entrance, so that you can move there and talk. The drinks were a bit weak. A Negroni should be a strong aperitif. But prices are lower than in other places, so I guess it's OK. A very fun night overall!“

I'm pretty sure the Brad Lander for Mayor social event got cancelled today (5/30/25); these things have small turnout, & maybe don't add much to the discussion. I came here anyway to have a refreshing beer in honor of a candidate whose ideas 💡, career, & intestinal fortitude seem to be quite refreshing in American politics. I've definitely never been in this fine bar 🍻 before, & I can't remember the last time I walked on this block. I still think you should rank Lander first 🥇🏆 in the upcoming NYC mayoral primary election (June 24, 2025).“

I have sampled a wide variety of menu items and highly recommend the steak, although many other dishes are equally impressive.“

But Spotted Owl at its best IS weird and that may be off-putting to many, especially those not ready to deal with a divey East Village crowd. Pool, a rowdy and friendly bar, solid prices... I think it has lots of what makes a bar great. If you're the sort willing to make friends with the bartenders and customers alike, you'll be juuust fine. Just don't expect the Ritz and it'll be perfectly ritzy for you.“

I first heard about Legasea’s Unlimited Ribeye deal and had to try it for myself. $55 for unlimited steak, fries, and salad? Sounded too good to be true, but let me tell you—it’s every bit as amazing as it sounds. The steak was juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked, the fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the salad balanced it all out. And the best part? This deal is ONLY available the day after every Knicks home game win! 🏀🔥 Knicks fans, you need to take advantage of this! Of course, we couldn’t stop there.
