“The best Chipotle I've ever been to. I visited 9-26-25 to got a veggie burrito and a veggie bowl and they are built the way they should be. I get my Great Dane a steak burrito and anywhere else, they are literally smaller than my palm and the size of a taco. Here, it is an actual burrito.“

“I visited the Chipotle at 274 Madison Avenue in NYC yesterday around 1:30pm, and I want to highlight an excellent experience. I worked for Chipotle during my college years for four years strictly as a crew member but my store earned Restaurateur status during my first year, so I understand what true Chipotle standards look like.
Because of that background, Chipotle has always represented quality to me. But in recent years, I’ve noticed the standards slipping, and I actually stopped eating Chipotle for about two months after some disappointing visits in others Locations.
Yesterday, I walked past the Madison Avenue location and decided to give it another chance and I’m glad I did. The first impression was outstanding. The restaurant was spotless, fully stocked with napkins and utensils, and the line looked organized and extremely fresh. The food pans were clean, and nothing looked old or over-held.
Food quality was great as well. The steak was perfectly cut ideal bite-size pieces and cooked just right. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in the bowl experience.
From a hospitality standpoint, they nailed it. The tortilla person welcomed me with a genuine smile and asked what I wanted, and the cashier was incredibly friendly almost like I’d known them before. That kind of authentic engagement is rare, and it stands out.
This is the level of quality, freshness, and hospitality every Chipotle should deliver. The Madison Avenue crew earned me back as a customer.“
“Man you don’t understand how good this chipotle is. My love for this place goes beyond any other fast food. The workers are fast, nice attentive and they actually are patient unlike in other places where they trip over you saying “um” once. No attitude no faces, just smiles and good service. I’ll travel from Cali just to eat here.“
“It can get quite crowded during peak lunch time - occasionally certain items (ie chicken/ rice) will run out, which forces me to pick more expensive alternatives
The dining area is a bit loud at times with lots of people eating, so try to cover up.“
“More of a 4.5 but I’m rounding up. The portions were good and the food was fresh. Also the place is clean. The service was very good and friendly. Only slight down point was there Chips weren’t very crisp and maybe a bit old but everything else was good!“
“This location has been my primary spot since it opened. I've seen many employees come & go. The place has its share of homeless people gleaning the soda station and teens coming in after school and causing an occasional ruckus but the staff really try their best to keep the place clean, sanitized and items stocked. Being courteous to them goes a long way as I've managed to steal a smile from their tired faces but today was quite different. The ONLY new & young employee I've ever seen take the time to make sure I didn't get the bottom of the barrel chicken was SANTONIO. He was attentive, polite & surpringly moved like he was a seasoned pro!“
“I love this location, compared to the location at bowling Green this location is much cleaner and the service there is a lot better. Food is always on point, fast service and a welcoming atmosphere. I’m the type of person who goes for first impressions and if the service I get is not up to standards there is no reason for me to come back and spend my money.“

“This a good location and service is pretty good. The food is always warm when ordering ahead.
I have had on a few occasions when ordering ahead had the wrong extra added to my burrito.
I also once got a bowl instead of the burrito.“
“I just purchased a burrito from the location at 404 broadway at around 7:30pm and the cashier at that location had the nerve to refuse to let me use the bathroom and said it wasn’t for customers. The kind gentleman and the other staff at this location let me use their bathroom. I showed them my bag with my burrito and told them the situation and they were beyond kind. I really appreciate them.“
“It is by far my favorite fast food restaurant, as the food itself is incredibly fresh, very responsibly sourced, and is quite tasty even when purchased on a regular basis. This particular location is our go-to, as it's right off the subway on our way home, and we love it. Shout out to Lewis!“
“Food was good. It was during a massive parade and the staff was professional and courteous amongst the chaos of 200 people trying to use the rest room from the parade. Line was short and workers were efficient. All that I can ask for during a parade with 200,000 plus attendees. All the best.“
“Very fast-paced chipotle. The service here is top tier. I always come here around 12pm and the crew is so polite and efficient. The counter is probably the cleanest i have ever seen at any Chipotle location I've ever gone to. The food is fresh and always hot. I highly recommend coming to this location for fresh food and fast and friendly service.“

“I love Chipotle. This one in particular runs pretty smooth. Not too long of a wait time usually no matter how the long the line is. This restaurant is often busy anytime I've ever went ( day or night) so I'd assume it's pretty popular in the area amongst all the other places to eat and dine.“

“Fresh ingredients as always but this location is based in the Empire State Building. Lunch time here is not for you 30- minuters especially if you didn't order online. The line will wrap and stay that way give or take an hour but the staff is working their butts off. As long as I remember to order off the app this is a fast lunch spot.“

“This is THE chipotle. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a fast food/QSR review before, but I work across the street from this chipotle and go here often and always have a 10/10 experience. They are QUICK. Like lightning quick, even with a line out the door during peak lunchtime. Their ingredients are always stocked, they’ve never been out of anything I want (unlike other chipotles i’m used to going to). And the potion sizessss. Chipotle’s brand has taken a hit over this in recent years but MAN do you get what you pay for at this one. My bowl is always full and they don’t skimp on protein, the most important part. Way to go y’all.“

The dine-in areas could also use more attention, as they can get quite messy at times. “I eat at this particular Chipotle alot. I love their iced tea and they always have it ready by 11am. I like the clean, spacious look and feel of the bar height stainless steel tables. The staff keeps them clean and regularly wiped off. The staff really cares about the customer experience.“
“This location has typically been good for ordering in the line.
However, when ordering pickup the first time it was late 5min (fair enough as this was a day with a promo) and the second time I tried visiting 10min after the pickup time in case it's late, and the store couldn't find the order. They later figured someone else took the order and remade it but I ended up with my food 20min after my order pickup time.
Therefore, ordering in the line may offer a more consistent experience“

“This chipotle used to consistently be one of the worst in Manhattan (long line, out of everything, horrible customer service). However over the last 6 months or so they’ve really turned it around. I went right before 7pm tonight and it was a super quick and efficient service. They actually had full stock of everything and everything in my bowl was super fresh. They even had vinaigrette which they typically run out of by later in the day. Really hoping they keep it up!“

The portion was huge and super filling, which I appreciated.
Service felt a bit slow, but to be fair, the place was packed, so that may have been the reason.
It has more of a fast-casual vibe, so don’t expect anything fancy — but if you’re looking for something quick, tasty, and budget-friendly, it’s a solid option.
And I was especially happy to find vegan Mexican food, since I love the cuisine and it’s not always easy to find good plant-based versions.“
