“Its fast food but it's as real as fast food gets. You can get a bunch of food in your rice bowl with no extra charge as long as you don't get "double protein." Tell them double on everything but the chicken.....unless you want extra chicken“
“Chipotle in New York lives up to its promise of serving delicious and fresh food. The ingredients were vibrant and flavorful, making for a satisfying meal. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also commendable, adding to the overall positive experience.
However, I am taking a star away due to the seating arrangement. The restaurant only offers backless high chairs, which can be quite uncomfortable, especially for kids. Additionally, the tables are small and only accommodate up to four people, making it challenging for larger groups to sit together without splitting up.
Despite these minor inconveniences, Chipotle delivers on its core promise of great food in a clean environment. With a few improvements to the seating, it could easily become a perfect dining spot.“
“These days, I saw on every New York travel blog that Chipotle was delicious, so I went there because I was curious. I went around 9pm and the ingredients were fresh and ordering wasn't difficult. However, it seemed like they only served a small amount... The American who ordered earlier also requested more guacamole. A fresh and hearty meal.“
“I went there because it was close to my accommodation and it was delicious. It's a place where you order like Subway. You can choose a bowl or burrito, but I ordered the bowl. I ordered brown rice and although it had cilantro in it, the flavor was not strong so it was okay. Please note that plain white rice does not contain cilantro, but this branch does not have it. I asked for half chicken and steak, extra cheese, all vegetables, red hot chili sauce, and shower cream. The portion is so large that two people could split it and eat it.
It's a place where you order like Subway. You can choose bowl or burrito, I ordered bowl and it was a great choice. I ordered brown rice for the rice and it had coriander in it, but it was okay because it didn't smell strong. (You can choose plain white rice if you dont want to have coriander in it, but this place doesn't have it)
I asked for chicken and steak, cheese, all vegetables, red hot chili and shower cream for sauce. Delicious. It’s a lot for one person.“
“I love a burrito where I get to choose what goes in it. Pica de Gallo, double shot of habanero sauce, corn salsa, and cilantro (yes, I am one of those mutants) makes for a very healthy, yet satisfying burrito. Now I'm hungry, off to Chipotle.“
“Here's a pro-con list.
- If you want it done fast, this is where you go.
- They are usually well stocked,
- the drink machine is often never broken and works.
- Family friendly, I've seen families eat here a lot.
- Usually a parking spot right outside if you are just gonna pop in and out really quick.
- Wheelchair friendly, I saw a family leaving with someone in one. A lot of families and wheelchair people I think go here because it's a quieter location than the one on 31st and Park Avenue South(school kids) and the one on 26th and 7th(vocational /college area)
- AC is pumping on hot days. Hopefully they turn it down or off during the fall/winter season.
Cons
- Altho they've gotten much better at keeping it clean, recently, I've been going here a lot since I work nearby, and it used to be filthy. It better, but not quite there yet.
- Some sort of tenseness or animosity in the air. They have plenty of friendly workers, but they seem to have this "sprinters effect" go on where they want to get work done so they can relax. I get a very "us vs the customers" vibe. I often see a bunch of them standing around, it does not seem like they like to work, but hang out, which may co tribute to how dirty it is.
- I saw one of the workers wipe the counter around the rice with a dirty rag and the rag touched the rice in the bowl. I made sure to skip that one.
- It's either stuffed or its a rip off. As the other reviews show, they seem to not really look at what they do becaue they are rushing. Their head stays up most of the time, so you either get a good scoop or a bad one. They seem tense, harried, but like to be chatty with each other.
I've been to the one on 26th and 7th, and the one on 34th and Park Ave South.
The Park Ave S one is cleaner, but not as stocked, and their machine is often broken,
The 26th and 7th one is slower, and wayy more crowded at time due to the building set up.“
“Hey guys, I'm here in Manhattan NY, as today is the first day, lunch was at Chipotle, good and cheap, the environment was very clean and organized, the service was top notch, even without speaking English, I managed with help and common sense of the employees to make a dish to my liking, without a doubt I will go back there again, a really cool thing that happened was the fact that I got a free soda hehe, I don't know how it works in the other stores in the same chain, but the one I went to the soda is paid for and even so the customer service was very nice to me and gave me the free soda, once again I want to say that you are to be congratulated and I couldn't miss the amount I paid which was only US 15.00, thanks guys“
“They were so nice and respectful. The seemed super clean and organized everything was available to you. Some Chipotles never have forks or spoons constantly full but this one does and there soda fountain machine is never really out of service like some places. Will keep coming back often ?

“This location has been my primary spot since it opened. I've seen many employees come & go. The place has its share of homeless people gleaning the soda station and teens coming in after school and causing an occasional ruckus but the staff really try their best to keep the place clean, sanitized and items stocked. Being courteous to them goes a long way as I've managed to steal a smile from their tired faces but today was quite different. The ONLY new & young employee I've ever seen take the time to make sure I didn't get the bottom of the barrel chicken was SANTONIO. He was attentive, polite & surpringly moved like he was a seasoned pro!“
“I am writing this solely for an amazing woman named Rosie. The Chipotle App isn't great, (god help you if you order a salad there is a 50% or less chance dressing is stocked) but it does provide some benefits. After receiving my pick up order and not finding dressing, I came to this location to ask if there was any possibility of more being created. Rosie being the amazing person she is took a moment to whip up a new batch and for that I cannot thank her more! @Chipotle - recognize this employee!!!! People like this are exactly why I will keep coming back! The food is good, and yes, sometimes you guys run out of things, but when you have people that take the extra step, I appreciate the hell out of that!!“

“This might have been the best Chipotles I have ever eaten! Everything was seasoned perfectly! Every mouthful was flavorful! Everything was cooked right! Nothing was dry, nothing was hard! The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because I think closing the bathroom by 8:30 is BS!“
“This location always fill my burrito bowl to the top. While the location is alway busy during lunch hours, the workers would always have my bowl ready for pickup when I come by (so that there's no wait). There are also tables for dine-in. Highly recommend this place if you want to grab something filling and quick.

“Just realizing that this restaurant in Tribeca is all about quality, the service, the food, the staff, the atmosphere of the restaurant. Everything. I love it!!I take out from there about a couple times a week and never had an issue. Food is always fresh and I always enjoy it. I ate at others but thought to leave a review because of what happened at another one (see below). I now realize they have to go above and beyond to maintain this quality on everything!I just ate to another Chipotle in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. I did not realize that the standard could change that drastically from one chain restaurant location to another. I noticed the food was prepared differently there and did not seem that fresh. But I thought I have been eating at Chipotle for a decade never got sick. What could really happen ? Well 30 minutes or so later… food poisoning!! I felt it and could not believe it. Even the vinaigrette that’s supposed to be standard was different: it had sugar in it. I could taste the grains of sugar (I have been taking two vinaigrettes per salad since ordering salad it never tasted that disgusting). I ate batching businesses but please don’t cut corners on costs at the detriments of the customers health.“
“I like ordering delivery/pickup from this chipotle location, because they always prep/pack very well and also (maybe I almost always get lucky or they really do have different food portion size than other locations) their food size portions are bigger than other locations. I haven’t had a good chipotle bowl in 2 months (I normally go to locations in Brooklyn or the one near the target by bmcc). “This is THE chipotle. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a fast food/QSR review before, but I work across the street from this chipotle and go here often and always have a 10/10 experience. They are QUICK. Like lightning quick, even with a line out the door during peak lunchtime. Their ingredients are always stocked, they’ve never been out of anything I want (unlike other chipotles i’m used to going to). And the potion sizessss. Chipotle’s brand has taken a hit over this in recent years but MAN do you get what you pay for at this one. My bowl is always full and they don’t skimp on protein, the most important part. Sometimes they make you wait a while even though your mobile order is within reach; they try to serve the walkin customers in line first and won't let you get the mobile order yourself in the meantime, probably for good reasons. “I have to give a shoutout to this location. I live 2 blocks away today was only the third time I’ve come in because usually I’m stumbling through Taco Bell at 3am. The food has been consistently fresh but this shoutout is for the employees!I’ve seen some shall we say “characters” come through and the staff is always courteous and professional when addressing some of the neighborhood riff raff that wanders in.
