“This restaurant is a real find, perfect location overlooking the Tappan Zee bridge, the service was quick and organized, the atmosphere was calm and harmonious, and about the food, everything was carefully plated in a 5-star style, and the prices are affordable, I had the lobster risotto which was by far the best seafood plate I've ever had. It was well worth the visit and I will definitely come back again. Note, don't leave without trying the Truffle Dessert it was totally amazing“

“I’m definitely giving this place five stars. Service was fine. The food was well above average. I can easily say the gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had and there’s no distant second in sight. The peanut butter chocolate mousse was good but it had a lot more chocolate than PB taste. I did notice one review complained about the smell. I think the men’s room was cleaned with straight vinegar. A little weird, but no big deal.“

“We were greeted by the owner who came out to let us know it was going to be a very long wait which was very nice. Once in the place was very warm and inviting. The atmosphere was great. The staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food....oh my goodness the food was worth the wait. It was delicious and plenty for what you paid for. 10/10 if we find ourselves back out this way would definitely come again!!“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“Nice little Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Self service counter with limited seating. Coffee is fantastic and they do have gluten free bread for toast to go with omelets or to make sandwiches. I would be careful if you're very sensitive as I'm not sure about cross contamination.“

We were immediately acknowledged by the hostess and seated, our waiter promptly came to our table and took water/drink order. Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “Had my 65th Birthday party back in March in the back room. We had a pianist and wonderful decorations. To say it was fabulous is an understatement. David and Jill looked after every detail. The staff was great and on top of everything. And the food, the food! So good! Every one of our guests went on and on about the whole evening. In fact at least one of our friends is going to book their next birthday there.“

“We have been back several times now and each time has reinforced our feeling that it's a local favorite. Last night the oysters were superb—bright, a bit salty, like the ocean. My fish tacos were surprisingly delicious. Others had the seafood Fra Diavolo, and one in our group had a steak. Everyone left happy.“

Using a translucent material for the menus was a nice touch! The salmon was light and airy with just the right amount of sweet honey and lemon, the contrasts danced on my tongue. The spinach and cream potatoes were an excellent healthy addition to the salmon. Based on my date devouring her plate of short ribs and sides, I can easily say her meal was also very much enjoyed. This was my first time dining at a Portuguese restaurant. Freelance Café and Wine Bar has opened my palate to everything Portuguese cuisine has to offer. Well Done!“

“This is a good chain with consistent Burgers and decent Fries, but the winner is the chicken sandwich and Gluten free fried chicken and collard green wraps.
The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“
