“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

“I have celiac and nut allergy and they were able to accommodate me. I had the steak sandwich and unfortunately the steak was low quality. it had tendons in it. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich it was average. But they served us quickly, even though it was busy because we had to catch a plane..“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“The vibes are great, food is delicious. I honestly didn’t expect such a delicious French toast from a cafe, probably one of the best, perfectly cooked, caramelised light crunch. You don’t even need syrup or whip cream. Coffee is so good!“

“I look at the place and even from the outside, I can already tell that it’s fancy. And I was right. The food came quick and fresh. I ordered the hot tower. It was surely for 2 as it said on the menu but if you’re up for a lot of amazing seafood, then this is surely the right meal. The clams were my favorite part. Make sure to add some butter to the clams and some lemon to make them taste supreme. The waiters were very friendly and the environment is great too. I most recommend this restraunt from ages 6 and older. This was great and a thank you to KEE oyster house!!!

“Always meet my best friend halfway between Bergen County and Westchester for dinner. We ended up at The Dining Room one night. Quite possibly my favorite French onion soup. PERFECT martini. Steak was solid, au gratin was also great. Cannot wait to go back.“

“Parking is a BIG issue for this restaurant, just a suggestion for Valet services in the future. The food however was FANTASTIC..had the grilled ( not fried ) Calamari and the filet Mignon and lobster tail. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature, portion size was generous. But most importantly the fish was not fishy smelling or tasting which means the quality of food is good. I will definitely go back on an off night to see if parking is any better.. but strongly suggest Valet.“

“Went to the restaurant for the first time since it was refurbished. Very nice!! Made dinner reservations for two and were seated promptly. Our server, Sandra, was exceptional. Our drink order was taken in a timely fashion. Both cocktails were delicious. We ordered the Ricotta Gnodi for our appetizer and it was very tasty. For the main course we each ordered the Ora King Salmon. I thought mine was slightly undercooked. As a side, we shared the truffle fries...hefty portion and were crisp and tasty. For desert we shared the Affogato. It was creamy and refreshing. All in all, a great night out. A little pricey, but based on the service, menu variety, and the food quality, we will definitely be back.“

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “It's been a while since I had been to Freelance but was reminded as soon as I walked in why I loved it there. I was greeted at the door, was seated immediately and while I waited for my friend to join me, I was very comfortable. The food was delicious, I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly along with a wedge salad to start, and should add it was the best dressing I've had in a while! I look forward to going back, perfect for a date night or an evening out with a friend. The bar area looked very friendly and comfortable, I would have no problem stopping in for a drink if I was in the area. Highly recommend on all levels.“

The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

“Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.“

At first, I was a bit worried because of the stairs at the entrance but was pleasantly surprised when they showed me the lift for my wheelchair. The bathroom is also disabled friendly. Overall, great experience! Will definitely come back when able“

“My lunch was excellent the Citrus Lime Salad with skirt steak perfectly cooked medium and so tender. The salad wasn't overly dressed. My daughter had the cheese tortellini pasta she said the sauce was too sweet. The views from the dining room were great. We entered during a rush period so the service was a little slow and it was a little chilly in the dining room. Overall a great lunch!“
