“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

“I have celiac and nut allergy and they were able to accommodate me. I had the steak sandwich and unfortunately the steak was low quality. it had tendons in it. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich it was average. But they served us quickly, even though it was busy because we had to catch a plane..“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“It was delicious, but I should have looked at the menu closer. Everyone else's meal looked amazing, and mine was just normal. Particularly, the French toast with blueberries and Buenos ranchers looked Particularly good, and my friends who ordered them were very happy.“

“Nice little Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Self service counter with limited seating. Coffee is fantastic and they do have gluten free bread for toast to go with omelets or to make sandwiches. I would be careful if you're very sensitive as I'm not sure about cross contamination.“

Service was prompt and attentive, and the food was excellent. We had the branzino, swordfish, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and lava cake for dessert. I will definitely come back for another meal, and it feels like a well-kept secret - for now.“

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. I was greeted at the door, was seated immediately and while I waited for my friend to join me, I was very comfortable. The food was delicious, I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly along with a wedge salad to start, and should add it was the best dressing I've had in a while! I look forward to going back, perfect for a date night or an evening out with a friend. The bar area looked very friendly and comfortable, I would have no problem stopping in for a drink if I was in the area. Highly recommend on all levels.“

“This is a good chain with consistent Burgers and decent Fries, but the winner is the chicken sandwich and Gluten free fried chicken and collard green wraps.
The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

“Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“
