“First time trying Rocco's. Has parking and looks like an old style diner which gives it atmosphere and a look that's not seen much anymore. Wine and beer be fine, they serve both. Pasta dishes and pizza are on the menu. All was well until check out time, when paying. If paying by card, you get charged with a fee. Wish we had known cause tip would have been higher. Part of the tip went for the fee. We'll be back though. Next time we'll pay in cash.“
“We chose My Cousin's for Mom's surprise 90th Birthday party and I can't rave enough about the professionalism, the Food, and the attention to detail! We met with Alyssa initially in December and she was a delightful pleasure to work with. Subsequent meetings and conversations were equally productive. The day of, Alyssa and David were both on hand assuring that this celebration moved forward like a precision time piece.Additionally! A huge thank you to Mary for her outstanding professionalism and customer care. And lastly the back of house for a delicious meal!“
“It's a nice place to eat food is delicious, but the outside appearance always looks like it's close , he needs to put up lights in the window and clean the windows and the those curtains out and put art on the windows to make it “
“The food was incredible, amazing point is that the owner recognized me and was excited to see me. However when I asked the server what mocktails they had he said they could do orange juice and cranberry juice. Which is insulting, might as well give it to me in a kids cup. I was there not three weeks prior and the server went to the bar to get a list of mocktails I could have and went above and beyond so I could have something other then juice or water and make me feel apart of the table. It's also very embarrassing when I get told I can have a juice, when the server looked and sounded irritated that I wasn't ordering a wine or cocktail. I will still go back, however me having a mocktail doesn't mean a low check. I alone spent over $100“
“First time at Trattoria Sei. The inside was nicely decorated, warm ambiance. The food was delicious, very generous portions. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese made with ground beef and veal. Highly recommend it. We also got a salad which was one of the specials and had pickled beets, blueberries, crumbled blue cheese, and it was very delicious! I also have to commend our server, Sophia, who was very attentive to us!“
“Food was good. Service was quick the location is nice but it's a little small. I only had typical El Salvadorian pupusas. They were very good. I would go back for those again but seems like a lot of people came for the soups. Which I didn't try. It gets busy but mostly take out. I would order the Spanish food since everyone there is Spanish. I don't think the Italian side of the kitchen will be as good as the el Salvadorian one since there is not Italians cooking it.“
“If you're going to get a flat tire, I strongly recommend that you get one on NY-22, right in front of this deli, as I did. The staff are lovely (a man and his mother) and speak Italian to one another. They make their own mozzarella, soup, and at least some pastries, if not all. Cannoli are filled to order and excellent. Another pastry (crostata?), cut into squares with a shortbread-like crust, cherry jam and chocolate was even more spectacular and something that I *must* come back for. The man told me it was homemade. The sfogliatelle pastry was a little tough and stale, but the thick, ricotta-rich filling was delicious. To be fair, these things have a very short shelf life. I gave it a few minutes in the toaster oven when I finally made it home and the texture was far improved. The son patiently answered my questions [e.g. how to properly pronounce "sfogliatelle," how much the fresh mozzarella costs (about $11 / lb)] and the mother kindly warmed up some pasta e fagioli for me. Sandwiches seem to be the focus here -- the menu is vast! -- but I sorely needed the warm-you-from-the-inside-out comfort of soup at that moment. The rich broth full of red beans, potatoes, and carrots absolutely hit the spot. It's too bad that it took a flat tire to get me in this place. We've been driving by for years and have clearly been missing out all this time!“
“We dined here on Sunday evening for a special occasion. We live so close by but haven’t tried this place so we decided to give it a go.The restaurant is cozy and the host and staffs were nice.We each got two different special menu which were roasted duck with blueberry sauce($27.99) and tuna steak salad ($29.99).They tasted decent.. we both finished the dish. To be specific, the blueberry sauce was too sweet for my taste and it overpowered the whole dish. It tasted like a desert- infact, I tried with a piece of bread and it was exactly like blueberry jam.The tuna salad was cooked properly, my husband was satisfied with the quality of food but he needed more food after that as the portion was too small.Overall, I feel like the portion could have been bigger but I need to try their regular menu and see the portion if we ever go back there in the future as we needed more food badly later.“
“The best pizza in Carmel, Mahopac and Brewster. We have lived here for 18 years and tried them all. The best dough, the best sauce, the best cheese, and the best service. Simply great pizza. His garlic knots r unreal. Mike the owner loves making pizza! Go there and find out why! Paul, 3“
“Had a wonderful night on New Year's Eve. Food delicious and great selections. Our waiter Omar was excellent. At the end we called the owner over and Tracy pulled over a chair to talk with us a bit. We had a chance to tell him how great everything was. Highly recommend.“
“You can’t go wrong ordering from Raymee’s.I have ordered a number of different things and I have never been disappointed, their pizza is the best around. Delivery is never a problem and the owner and staff could not be friendlier.I ordered a tray of lasagna recently for a family gathering and my company couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was and so cheesy.Like the expression, “try it you’ll like it!”. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“My wife and I recently found this place about a year ago. Have gone 4 times and have had nothing but exceptional service and food. I sort of want to keep this place a hidden gem. They recommend reservations, but walking in should be no issue for a small party of 2-4. However, every time I make a reservation, we are greeted and seated immediately with our table prepared and water already served, which is a nice touch. Not many restaurants actually prepare the table for the reservation that was made previously. Each time we have had the same waiter which has been great. He is always accommodating and polite and attentive. Other staff have also been friendly and kind.Soft butter is always served to go with the delicious bread. The fried calamari is great. The chicken parm is good. My favorite has been the NY Strip with Gorgonzola cheese melted on top. Cooked perfect each time. The cheese gives it a great flavor that just works well together. Had it twice and my wife also had it and it’s delicious each time. And for dessert the tartufo is probably the best I’ve had. Highly recommend. We have decided to make this a place for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversary’s. It’s a place that we truly enjoy and look forward to coming to for years to come. Highly suggest it. Prices are very reasonable. Much more expensive places with mediocre food. This place is worth every penny.“
“I've been here a few times for dinner. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The food is always very good. The service is excellent. The staff is always polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here if in the area.“
“Went in to get some breakfast and so glad I did. Food is delicious, I’m catholic and lent just started so when I went to see the breakfast/lunch buffet they had I was a little sad the eggs had meat on them but the guy behind the counter offered to make me new eggs with veggies on them and I’m glad I took his offer because they were delicious. I also added beans, plátano, potatoes, and he added cheese and crema, also offered me tortillas, which are thicker than Mexican tortillas but so much flavor and let just say I’m hooked. Also so many choices for beverages, they have a machine for fresh orange juice but I opted to try the horchata, I’ve had it before and I wasn’t a fan but I said to myself let me try it again and I don’t know if there’s a difference between countries for horchata but this was hit the spot, so refreshing and yummy. Best Salvadoran spot I’ve found so far and since I’m a local I’m glad is so close to me. Definitely coming back to try new items, I’ve heard good things about their pupusas but I’m not really familiar with them since I’m from South America, but I’m willing to try them.La comida es súper deliciosa, fui para comprar desayuno ya q comenzó la cuaresma me alegra q tengan tantas opciones. Definitivamente regresaré para probar más cosas Salvadoreñas, el servicio al cliente es súper bueno, el muchacho es amable. El lugar es limpio y acogedor. Pero la comida es lo máximo, tortillas caseras, comida rica y a buen precio ??“
“Bruno's is very middle of the road for its regular pizza, but the speciality pizzas are amazing. Specifically, the buffalo chicken pizza. They call it "world famous" and if it isn't it should be because it's awesome.“
“We ordered takeout on the Slice App. A worker from Fusion called me because I forgot to indicate how I'd like my steak cooked. I appreciated the call! Our food was ready on time and it was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean and nicely styled. We plan to go out to eat at the Fusion Tavern in the near future. It's nice to have a local gem like this!“
“Get pizza and pasta here quite often. Their side salad is great, quality lettuces and fresh veggies. Love their garlic cheese bread and their sausage and mushroom pizza is delish. Also have really enjoyed their linguini with clams at least two times now. Their lobster ravioli special is fabulous and they are so friendly and accommodating!!“
“Why are there two businesses named Cousins within 1 minute drive from each other that aren't affiliated? This is massively confusing and can't be good for business. Only been here once and shelves were kinda bare. Sandwich wasn't terrible. I'd go here again mainly to support the local businesses.“
“Greeted by friendly staff simultaneously and a friendly atmosphere. Hands down the pizza was ?soooo good and the cheese just melts in your mouth. Kudos to their 4% discount if you pay by cash . This is my “go too” pizza spot gem this day forward .“
“Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Villagio. The restaurant was highly recomended to us by my wife's coworker. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly. We had a 6:30 reservation. The service from start to finish was warm, friendly and professional. We started with a crisp tender fried calamari and the roasted beet salad. So many times calamari is a hit or miss. This was an excellent version. The beet salad was tender, earthy and sweet. The crunchy pistacios and orange vinaigrette were a nice touch. My wife ordered Chicken Millanese and I ordered Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were excellent. The chicken was crisp and tender. The arrugula was peppery with a drizzle of lemon and virgin olive oil. Great balance. The Gnocchi was a great choice as there was a chill in the air. My definition of comfort food. Recently I have notice some resturants are going with a cheaper grated cheese, not Il Villagio. The Peccorino was perfectly salty and sharp. During our meal several people came over to check on us including the owner. I told he should be very proud of his staff. This restaurant is doing a great job. The provide quality service, excellent food and a warm friendly staff. It was a 25-30 drive for us. A drive I will be doing again real soon. Thank you to all“
“Aversanos holds a special place in my heart. The owners are great men who care about their food, but even more so, about their customers! The service is great, and don't even get me started about the food... the seafood ravioli is to die for!If you are looking for a fine place for a date, or nice, authentic Italian food, then look no further than Aversanos. They even have gluten free options. What are you waiting for? Get over there.“
“So glad to have Luigi’s closer to home! Stopped in tonight and all his favorites were there. Yummy calamari, eggplant rollatini, tortellini, and of course pizza and Mama’s cake for dessert! Susie was a fantastic waitress. We will be regulars.“
“Nice local New York Italian restaurant. Food is very good...but I gotta ding a place that charges you for each additional tiny cup of coffee. Things are expensive nowadays, at least give free coffee refills, especially with those tiny tiny mugs.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Italian restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu showcased a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes, each a masterpiece in its own right. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident in every bite. The flavors were bold and genuine, transporting me straight to the heart of Italy. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces rich and flavorful, and the ingredients fresh and of the highest quality. Our server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring we had a tailored dining experience.“
“Awesome place to gather up.Good food, music, & environment. The dining area is situated in its own area, while the bar offers plenty of room.I frequent this restaurant and my only complaint if you will is where the pool ? table is situated. It's frustrating when you have to use a short stick v regular cue.Not the biggest deal in the world, but I am a pool player. Which btw so is the owner ... beware! He's good ? lol.Parking: Plentiful & easy.Kid-friendliness: The outdoor patio will keep them occupied..Yes kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs both sides of the entry. The trick to avoid is go in from rear entrance where the out door patio is. Right side of building when facing it.“
“First of all, bless this place for delivering to a rest area most places won't (Truck driver so we can't go down there). The staff was super nice and friendly, Eta for driver was right. Most importantly the pizza was a good pizza (More towards thin crust with a bit of grease but I love that) and buffalo wings was decent, Like everyone can eat them and not think twice about it (But to be clear im very picky on my wings). So overall I would go here again if im near by and I already told a friend about it. A solid place to get some food and you can't go wrong with them!“
“These guys go above and beyond. I live in Phoenix az and they packaged my order so I could take it home on the plane and then when I ordered for my family for valentine's day they separated the portions to go to 2 different places for me. They are great and the chicken francese is just awesome. Thank you guys can't wait to get back there, you're my 1st stop for dinner. ❤️ ?“
“Asked for extra garlic on half of a large pizza. They actually put slices of garlic on it! ❤️ Slices of garlic! ❤️ I was expecting the usual processed minced garlic, but nope, they sliced garlic to put on my pizza. I'm really impressed. And the pizza was amazing!“
“This was a really nice Olive location. Server was great. Food was decent. My carbonara was lacking some sauce but was still good. The 4 of us enjoyed our meals and all took home leftovers.Parking: Limited parking in front. Lots in the back. If you have elderly, kids, or lady in heels maybe drop off in front.“
“This is one of the best pizzerias in ny outside of nyc !And the owner "iron man" is a true gentleman, he will sit and converse with patrons and make them feel like family. Deffinitly recommendedParking: Plenty of parking except for Friday and Saturday nights it tends to get quite crowded. A true sign of delicious food!“
“We came here for my sister's birthday over the holidays. Very cute restaurant, nicely decorated with welcoming ambiance. We got a table for 6 set up easily day of. We all got different entrees and everything was very tasty and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great evening.“
“I’ve been here numerous times including a Christmas dinner for work. The staff, the service and the food never disappoints. I had the privilege of meeting Chef Andre and his family! Wonderful people! Also, you have to try his Sacchetti Truffle is amazing! Highly recommended!“
“Quaint pizza place and restaurant. Staff is very friendly and food is tasty. Great for take out or dine in. Menu has a lot of traditional options, as well as some unique ones to satisfy anyone. Prices are very reasonable. Chicken parm always hits the spot!“
“The food is excellent. As a NYer from Queens and Brooklyn I know pizza. You will love it. Are there better? Perhaps if you search hard but these guys are consistent and delicious and they treat you with respect. It's a pizzeria. You don't go for the ambience. You either have your friends for a slice or you are taking out!I took off one star from service due to a high credit card surcharge which adds a burden. The staff are great.Terrific delivery staff.Parking: It's a busy part of town. But they deliver!“
“It’s been ages since I have been here. I grew up on this place haha!! A few weeks ago I stopped by and ordered the famous plain slice. As I was eagerly waiting, I thought to myself I wonder if it still taste the same when I was a kid…. Then I got the famous large slice handed to me, took a bite.. yupppp!! The exact same taste when I was a kid. If you’re looking for an authentic amazing slice, with an unforgettable experience, this is the spot!!“
“Amazing and Fabulous food. Portions are beyond generous, definitely huge compliments to the chef and quality of the food. I literally had only seafood tonight and everything was so fresh. Trust me I am a very picky person when it comes to seafood. Our server Betty was amazing and prompt!“
“This past weekend, I ventured into Terra, nestled within the chic Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury, Connecticut ?✨. This gem of a hotel houses an exceptional, upscale restaurant that boasts an extensive menu that will satisfy any food lover’s palate ?️.Our appetizers set the bar pretty high. First up was the crispy buffalo cauliflower, adorned with micro celery and a decadent gorgonzola sour cream ?️?. The cauliflower struck the perfect balance - crispy without being overly fried, bursting with flavors that scored a delicious 9/10 on my scale. Next, we savored the gnocchi al forno, a heavenly blend of porcini mushroom cream, nduja (pork), and lemon breadcrumbs ??. The mushrooms effortlessly won my heart, earning an easy 10/10.For our mains, we explored the hidden fjord salmon, accompanied by heirloom beans, Brussels sprouts, and a rich porcini and tomato sugo ??. While the sauce had a slightly off note, the salmon itself was impeccably cooked, meriting a 7/10. The 12 oz. C.A.B. strip steak, served with duck fat potatoes, mixed mushrooms, and sherry vinegar, was a carnivore’s delight, perfectly medium-rare with a sauce that was nothing short of amazing ??. And let’s not forget the special - fish tacos that were so delightful, I believe they deserve a permanent spot on the menu ?? 9/10.Dessert was a sweet finale with their strawberry shortcake in a cup and a luxurious chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream ???. Both desserts were a testament to indulgence, effortlessly meriting a 9/10 with their perfect pairings and depth of flavor. For those with a penchant for espresso martinis, Terra’s rendition, where the coffee taste is subtly masked, is an absolute must-try ☕?. Beyond the exquisite food, Terra’s vibrant ambiance and extensive drink selection make it a must-visit spot ??.Overall Scores:Food: 9/10 ?0 ?Ambiance: 8/10 ?Terra isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience worth indulging in. Whether you’re a foodie or just in search of a great spot to dine, Terra promises an unforgettable experience ✨“
“Food price / quality (value) rating 7.5. The atmosphere in the bar area is kind of 70's disco, but tasteful. A large bar , about 24 seats, surrounded by about 8 four seat tables. The two dining rooms are more formal. The menus are really cool, they are electronically backlit so that the pages light up for easy reading. They offer a wide variety of Italian dishes and several interesting specials. The wine prices were reasonable. They have about 8 or 10 draught beer choices, but half of them are too common. A bruschetta and fresh bread are included with dinner. I had the halibut special, which was good, but $45 was a little steep for the dish. The wife had the shrimp and scallops over risotto, which was good. Neither dish had anything unusual as far as flavors or presentation. The service completely fell apart towards the end of the meal, our waiter didn't check on us for about 20 minutes after finishing our entrees, and I had to ask three times for a draught beer list. I was going to have dessert and a cappuccino, but by the time we saw our waiter again, it was time to go home, so I skipped those. The bill was $135 for two entrees and four glasses of wine, which seemed a bit steep for what was received.“
“All food was absolutely delicious, & cooked exactly the way we wanted it! I had Grilled Chicken with Sautéed Garlic & Oil, my Son had Penne Vodka with Chicken & we've had their Pizza numerous times. Very flavorful, presented so nicely. All staff very pleasant & accommodating. Being very Italian, I'm very fussy about eating sauce, but at Prato, you have no worries! Delicious!“
“Mostly order take out/delivery!I LOVE the ladies who answer the phone on Friday evenings they always get my large order (for our recreation program) right! The pizza is delish! …and we’re addicted to the house dressing! Please send recipe ?!!!!“
“I went here and felt compelled to make a review. My boyfriend, his son and I got off at a random exit on a drive home and we were all hungry. My boyfriend and his son ordered pizza - spoiler - it was AMAZING - but before they even ate it, I felt compelled to take a few pictures and leave a review. The guy behind the counter was SO sweet and personable and cared so much about his food. They also had lots of "Tell us about your allergy" signs which I thought was very considerate.Super warm people, the pizza was outstanding, and if I lived in the area I'd definitely be back.“
“Pizza and salads were excellent. I ordered thru an app and was informed to pick up at 5:30. When I arrived at 5:30, I had to wait another 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I counted 13 other people also waiting for pickup at the same time.“
“Delicious food and excellent service. The fettuccine alfredo with side salad and warm bread was perfect. My husband loved his hawaiian burger with ham and swiss and pineapple. Dad got the bacon cheeseburger. The bacon and fries were crispy and both burgers cooked perfectly as ordered, seasoned well and juicy. I grew up going to Alfredo's often and was sad when they changed ownership but Salina's did not disappoint. We learned they will be opening soon for breakfast and lunch with a hot primo's style buffet. We can't wait to come back!! Highly recommend.“
“Mike and joes Mahopac has been a family favorite for years, the family is always welcoming and food is always good, many choices in the showcase so I can never decide because I have never had a bad meal! Bartenders are the best! Music is nice and, never have to wait long. This place is a FACTORY! Thank you Viktor see you again soon!“
“We've done takeout from Portofino's a few times and it has been consistently good. The pizza is solid and has a good crust and decent amount of toppings for the price. We've enjoyed some pasta as well as the salad that accompanies it. You can order online or call ahead. The staff are friendly and our food is always packed up nicely and ready to go. We'll have to eat in soon. Definitely a solid neighborhood spot.“
“Fantastic NY Pizza Shop with a wide variety of delicious, huge, original with tons of toppings. Family favorites are the chicken parm pizza, gramma pie, salad pie and the Sicilian also try the chicken rolls, delicious. The service is friendly and fast, it's the type of place where they know everyone by name. Truly a gem.“
“I have taken out and catered on several occasions from this italian restaurant and I have never been deceived. The Wild Truffle Mushroom Raviolis are a hit. Also excellent dishes are any of the seafood platters: grilled octopus, coconut shrimp, fried calamari… everyone raved about the food during our party gatherings. Our go-to local fare favorite.“
“Let’s be honest. The interior is outdated and leaves a lot to be desired, and the parking lot is a complete mess. However, the customer service is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was.Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh and well served. I would personally appreciate a larger menu and having the able pizza types on display to make the ordering process easier. This really seems like a “dial in” joint and it would be nicer if more tables were able to sit. But, given the quality of the pizza, I would happily stop in again.Parking: While spots are available, there is no depth to the parking lot. There is limited visibility on a busy road which depending on the time of day, may or may not be worth the effort.“
