“We decide to celebrate our thanksgiving meal at the Port Ewen diner. Meal was excellent! Moist turkey with all the fixings! I guarantee you don’t go home hungry eating here. Our waitress, Ruthie was very kind and tentative to our needs. Can’t wait to go back!!

“I had their pizza once, after being unimpressed with one of their competitors -- and now I'm a Mario's fan for life. Pizzas are generously sized, prepared with an abundance of toppings, and reasonably priced. The pizza is so good, I haven't explored the menu much. But they also sell ricotta cheesecake a delicately flavorful, mildly sweet, lighter-textured cheesecake. Genuinely Italian.”

“What a gem of a place! I sat outside with some friends - we ordered inside and a server brought the drinks out. To my surprise they have cynar and were willing to make a cynar spritz! Delicious. I also tried the pineapple margarita, too. Refreshing. It's really cute inside.
Yet, this lovely night could have been a bad memory. Buzzing on good drinks, atmosphere and conversation, I left my (beloved, expensive) sunglasses behind...gasp! The staff not only rescued them, but were willing to make sure they made their way back to me. 10/10 for Stockade Tavern. Will come again and again.”

Their creativity with food and beverages is why we keep coming back. Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or neither, you’ll find something very tasty. I’m vegan and this is my favorite restaurant of all for food, people, and atmosphere. Highly recommend! “We came to get takeout for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! Mercedes and Team are so kind and generous and the food matched their energy - clearly made with love! We had the fish plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and coleslaw) the fried chicken plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and potato salad) and their dessert - coconut pineapple cake in a cup. All the food was excellent, especially the fried fish. Beautifully seasoned and prepared! Mac and cheese is very flavorful and cheesy. Both the salads were good and I look forward to trying more sides! The desserts were phenomenal and we even got to try the sweet potato cheesecake which is SUBLIME and some sweet potato cornbread which was heavenly! You can be sure we will be back again!”
