I enjoyed the Big Breakfast meal, with Chocolate Chip Pancakes (last time I had Chocolate Chip Pancakes at all prior to 3/31/26 was likely when I was still living in Connelly, NY back from 2004 to 2007), Bacon, Sausage, and Home Fries. I will definitely be coming here again to try out other things in the near future.”

“We had a special couples meal tonight at Silvia . The hostess greeted us with a smile and showed us to a corner table ; perfect for a one on one chat . Our server Ally was knowledgeable and very personable ..on her recommendation we started with a house-made ginger rosemary non alcoholic drink ..wow ! Then we had oysters and the prosciutto and figs ..both were excellent ..our mains were the mushroom and asparagus over pasta and the smoked pork chop on polenta ..OUTSTANDING . Ally was attentive without being intrusive .. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming in . All the staff seem happy and effective ..great space , lovely vibe . we drove 75 min for the meal and it was well worth it ., HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“The desserts we had were exceptionally good. This was the best part of the meal. The scallop crudo was small, boring and expensive. The half-chicken main course was very good, and was enough to split between 2 people, but required at least one of them to be good at disassembling a chicken. The atmosphere was very loud. The place is toddler friendly, which is great if you have a toddler, and not so great if you do not. The restaurant is very popular, so reservations are a must. If you are hip and cool, you will probably enjoy it more than I did. It was not bad, but IMO it is a bit over-rated, as the only truly standout dishes we had were the desserts, and they were fantastic. Also, the bread was very very good. The drinks were OK. The price was a bit too high for what were served, in general. Mostly, it was just too loud for eating, for me. I am glad we tried it. 4 stars because- why not? I do not run down a decent restaurant with excellent service that is trying very hard just because it does not suit me.”

“Nice spot and was perfect for me and some friends to sit at the bar and catch up on life. We had just had a bad experience somewhere else and came in here for a drink to unwind and it was a good decision.
They were on top of making sure we had drinks when we were ready. The entire place gave you a nice feel and the guy working the bar was very friendly.
I’ll for sure go back when I visit again.”

“Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Both meals were excellent. Wish we could have had dessert, but we were so stuffed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We’re looking forward to visiting again.”

“This has become a beloved date night spot in my household and a place we credit with getting us so into sherry (and vermouth!) that we’re basically preaching to all our friends about it. If you’re worried about how expensive it is - which it is, no doubt! - at least stop in for happy hour and try the drinks. Last night was actually the first time I’ve had a full meal here and it really felt like a special occasion. I thought the bacalao was perfection and the tapas were yummy too - the custard dessert made me scream the first time I tried it (in a good way).
It’s definitely become more busy and more scene-y, but it still feels welcoming and intimate. From what I can tell everyone who works here is so passionate about the food and drinks they serve. Their service has always been so warm, fun, attentive, and knowledgeable. Shout out to you guys for helping us make any random night feel special! I’ve never been to Spain, but I’m lucky to live in Kingston and have spots like this to return to. Bonus points for having a dj last night who played great music and not too loud to have dinner with!”

“Love love Garden Cafe! The food is amazing, service is always great (quick and very friendly), and setting is cozy and convenient (right in the heart of Woodstock). Their creativity with food and beverages is why we keep coming back. Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or neither, you’ll find something very tasty. “Cucina was kind enough to accommodate a last minute birthday. They were busy on a Friday night, so would recommend a reservation. Drinks were great if a bit pricey. Had the Halibut, which was delicious. Desert was good too, with our group splitting olive oil cake and molten chocolate cake.”

“The Red Hook diner is so good! Egg creams, gravy fries, heaping sandwiches. Can't get this at West Coast diners - they just look at you funny. The Red Hook diner never disappounts.
