Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“Our favorite tapas place. This evening we had the short rib bruschetta, the meat melts in your mouth. The truffle fries are amazing as always. The funghi pizza was delicious! Our server Eddie was attentive without being overbearing. A+ as always.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“Compared to other restaurants, it's twice as expensive but you get half the portion size—meaning you only get a quarter of the food for the same amount of money. The value for money is terrible. If they kept the prices the same but doubled the portions, it would be absolutely perfect.“

“We had another wonderful experience at Capital Grille. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the manager Rick, who escorted us to our table. He assigned an attentive waiter (Turon) who took great care of us throughout the meal. Another manager, Amy, also checked on us, was very warm and friendly, and we had a great conversation with her. All the food was delicious and we appreciated the chef making something we liked that isn't on the menu. He generously treated us with a yummy amuse-bouche. Overall we had another outstanding visit. “Let me start with the service was fast and attentive. I ordered steak with seafood (medium rare) and it came in an appropriate time served neatly with a few extras i didnt even notice on the menu. Cooked to perfection which I was happy about. Would love to come back to try all their steaks worth the visit. I went solo but definitely food atmosphere for a group of people. Full service bar even though I dont drink they had enough options to stop in just for a drink. Nice dessert menu to compliment your meal afterwards. Felt like a home away from home. Can't imagine going in and not ordering one of their steaks compliments to the chef!“

“Tried this place recently and honestly really enjoyed it. The skewers were the best part of the meal for sure. Both the chicken and lamb were super flavorful, tender, and cooked really well. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the seasoning was spot on. We kept ordering more because they were so good.

I also liked how the ordering worked. Every table has an iPad, so you just place your order there and it goes straight to the kitchen. It made everything really easy and convenient, especially when we wanted to add more food without trying to flag someone down. The food came out pretty quickly too.

The other dishes we tried were also solid and paired well with the skewers. One small thing I thought was clever was the bucket they give you to throw away the used skewers. It keeps the table clean and somehow just makes the whole experience feel more organized.

Prices were pretty reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. Definitely would recommend this spot if you’re craving good skewers and a fun casual meal.“

My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“
