“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

Every single bite bursts with flavor! • 🥝 Kiwi Mojito 🍲 Calldo Gallego 🐑 Lamb Skewers 🦞 Tres Colas 🦐 Empanadas 🥩 Angus Beef Croquettes 🥩 Churrasco Bravo • I wish we had room for more because every single item was great and the deserts looked amazing, we just physically could not eat anymore! 😂 The vibes were great. Service spectacular! Food amazing. We can’t wait to go back for happy hour and the night life, will do another review of course 😉 - We did get a small dessert which was the Sherry Port. “We very recently had my mother's 80th birthday party here at Two25 with 40 attendees. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, it has a modern, calming and upscale vibe. The restaurant and restrooms are immaculate. Crisp table settings. Cool jazz lightly cascading through the sound system. Just great overall ambiance. From the moment I walked in to inquire about having a party, I met Caitlin, who deftly and expertly handled every single issue, before, during and after, with ease and grace. She made sure that our experience was perfect. A true professional and a credit to the establishment. From the moment that our party started, the staff was incredibly attentive and intuitive. The appetizers of arancini, wontons, and artichokes were absolutely delish. The salads course was perfect. And the main dinner courses were expertly crafted. I personally had the short ribs which were melt in your mouth deliciousness. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. And although I did not taste the chicken Milanese, everyone who had it reported it to be excellent. The dessert of gelato and cappuccino was the perfect complement to the amazing meal. And if I didn't stress this point enough, Caitlin and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every whim. As an amazing example of that, before the day of the event, I mentioned to Caitlin, quite off-handedly, that although their beer selections were top shelf, they didn't have my go-to beer. Would you believe that the manager, Andrea, went out and personally made sure my favorite beer would be on hand for our event. Now that is what I call service!!!!
All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and everyone, invariably, had nothing but positive reviews for the event.
Two25 has skyrocketed up to our family's favorite restaurant.

“Came here for a birthday soirée that was in a private room, the room was lovely and cozy and perfect for the event, the appetizers were great, the food was great the service was less then desirable. The cocktail menu was great and the drinks I actually got were divine but the wait for them and the mood of the server was less then desirable especially for a birthday party, she treated us as if we were a hindrance and we were bothering her by asking her for drinks. Usually, when booking a private party, you get the best of the best as your server if this was their best, it definitely was not good enough.“

“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“
