“I went to The Harbor Light with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. I cannot tell you how accommodating the staff was. We originally sat in an area where he was unable to hear well. The owner Bernadette and the server Annie opened up a whole other section in the restaurant for us that was quieter. They were so kind and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. I would definitely recommend this place. They truly care about their patrons. Thank you Harbor Light!“

Think house-maf fermented salsa, truffle fries, perfectly cooked burger with high quality/well sourced meat, the best (ricotta) pancakes you've ever had, fun cocktails and mocktails too! “One of the rare bastions of what NYC was and still holding strong by people like Richard. I’m only annoyed I just discovered it in the last year. I was told it’s been ten years since they opened. Get there early and be prepared to wait. Worth the wait. I have yet to have had a bad night and I now try to make it often.“

“I booked Dinner Party for my husband’s milestone birthday and hosted 36 friends by reserving the entire restaurant for 2.5 hours. I coordinated with the team from a month in advance, and they were all wonderful to work with. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned.

The food was delicious, the space was cozy, and it truly felt like an intimate dinner party at home. The five course tasting menu was served as cocktail style bites and was perfect for the evening. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their other menus.“

The place is kept very clean.
If you love sports, you only need to pick the TV to watch. If you are not into sports too much, this is a great place to hang with your friends on the boardwalk.“

“One of my favorite places now to eat Latino food now in NYC!!!! Visited mast week and had the Frito Mixto and ate every single yuca they had!!! Everything tasted fresh and hand made. Also got the rice and beans with the black pepper beef and chicharrón. My favorite was the black pepper beef. Was so soft and tender. The chicharrón was good but had a lot of fat (chicharrón always has fat lol) for me. The parts of meat were actually really good. For drinks we got the Pandan and it was delicious. Definitely one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Will surely pass and eat at this place if around!!! Btw they had Karaoke too if interested!“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Dilly Dally for brunch and it was one of the best stops I’ve made in a long time. On the immensely popular Vanderbilt Ave., it’s a standout - a remarkable fact since it’s one the newest establishments to grace said Avenue. Its charming exterior is as inviting as the space itself. Vibrant natural lighting, eclectic music, and art laden walls give it the comfort of a home…which (I believe) is key for a neighborhood establishment. My experience was guided perfectly by the kind, warm, and knowledgeable staff. Attracted by their unique components, I went with the savory breakfast burrito (chorizo/crispy potatoes/hatch green chile) followed by the sweet griddled blueberry corn muffin (whipped butter, strawberry preserves). Both prove to be deliciously creative takes on two breakfast/brunch staples. By nailing a couple of classics, I know they’ll nail the rest. With that, I truly look forward to going back to explore the rest of their menu soon (including dinner, of course) and so should you.“

“Super unique and delicious maple praline brown butter pancakes! More cake than pancake. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. Food was prepared much quicker than expected and was all very good! I would definitely recommend this!“

“Trying to keep this place a hidden gem, because there is too much traffic in the rock already. However! Margie's has one of THE best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that says a lot because I consider myself a sandwich/burger connoisseur. It's so simple and I believe that's what makes the burger shine. Paired with the atmosphere and the beach town vibes, it's hard for me to go anywhere else when I'm in need of a good burger. The other things I've tried on the menu didn't disappoint but I showed up for a burger and it stole the show for me. My compliments to the chef or recipe creator...whomever.“

“After the museum, we were a big group for lunch. There was a happy hour menu with drinks and some food options. “Hart's has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I arrived right at opening (5:30pm) and was seated at the bar immediately. It's super convenient if you're coming off the A/C. The playlist was great and the vibe was calm and unhurried.

The food is where Hart's really shines. The roast oysters with vermouth butter and horseradish were the standout of the night, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick. The savoy cabbage with serrano ham and borlotti beans was homey and comforting. The clam toast with pancetta was deeply savory and something I'd come back for on its own. The seafood rice was the one dish that didn't quite land for me. Not bad, just the least memorable of the bunch.

“Im a local and have been coming to Bernie’s for some years now and have never left a review which I should have because the good is consistently delicious, served hot and customer service always has been on point.

Last night my reservation for a steakhouse in the city was cancelled so I went to my old faithful. Not a long wait at all and the host periodically checked in as he always does to give me updates and options if I didn’t want to wait for the bar seat. Everything was delicious as usual and the customer next to me was celebrating her birthday I said happy birthday and mentioned it was mines also.

The bartender asked if I wanted dessert and I declined but then she did the sweetest, most thoughtful thing and popped up with ice cream. she’s like you need to blow out a candle today. And also comped a glass of wine(I’m too elderly for shots) and let me tell you this birthday was nothing short of a disaster. which is why I was out eating alone. “The food was great I went during food week. I had the salmon with garlic mash and broccoli. The meal also came with dessert and an appetizer. You can add a glass of wine for 5 dollars. For the appetizer I had the birria empanada my cousin had the island shrimp I believed it was called. The shrimp👍🏾👍, I wasn't crazy about the empanada. I would definitely revisit this place. Also the run punch definitely punches. Try it out.“

“So far I’ve been there a few times, had the vegetarian version of the smash burger (Texas toast), tomato soup with grilled cheese, pancakes, and a few other things I can’t remember. Everything is always great, especially the smash burger.
