“Had a rack of ribs... Sydney was our waitress... It was all good, actually better than good. Salad. Cheesecake for dessert. “Went here last night for drinks and small bites. The vibe is perfect and decor is gorgeous. Our mixologist was perfect and fun to watch , he made us a “don’t go until you get some” and “never fully dressed” which were perfection. We ordered the squash bread as well as shrimp cocktail and both were delicious. The perfect date spot. Don’t pass this place up if you have a chance to go!“

“Smokey Rock BBQ provided a satisfactory experience during the Christmas party I attended. The atmosphere was festive and cozy, fitting for the occasion. The barbecue offerings were decent, with a variety of options to choose from. While the food was tasty, it didn't necessarily wow me. The brisket was tender and season pretty well. Service was adequate, it was family style and the staff was on top of drinks and clearing. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience for a holiday gathering, but nothing particularly memorable.“

“My family and I dined here last evening. Do yourself a solid and order the duck confit potatoes, if that’s your pleasure. We enjoyed our food, the desserts were delightful—-especially the lemon tarte. The staff was attentive and brought my sister a birthday treat. Cozy ambiance and relaxed pacing.“

“What an amazing place. Selected it as a venue for a gathering of friends as an upstate/downstate geo midpoint. Food was unbelievably amazing (ordered off appetizer menu, late night menu, but the whole menu looked great), hosts Russ & Helga were warm welcoming and friendly, live music from Ethan Levy was perfect, every server and bartender were top notch. We will definitely be back. This is a rare Hudson Valley jewel that I am so glad we found.“

“Given that our dinner was at a premier culinary school my lamb was very disappointing. I specifically told our server that I wanted it medium rare but he stated that the could only serve it medium which I agreed to. When it came out it was more than well done and dry. Even the server recognized this. I sent it back. We raise lamb and would hope it is prepared in a way that consumers enjoy this an alternative to other meat. The key is a proper preparation. If someone had not had lamb before, they would probably not order it again if this is the dish they were presented.“

“We had the family here for the first time last night. We started with the Calamari and the Housemade Ricotta. Both were wonderful. Then our party ordered The NY strip, the steak frites, a pecan encrusted rack of lamb (a special that night), the pappardelle bolognese, and the Burger. Everything was tasty and perfectly prepared EXACTLY as we ordered. The strip was between medium and medium rare and a high quality steak. The frites were perfect. The pappardelle was fresh made and the sauce outstanding. The lamb was served with a chimmichurri and had 6 chops that were excellent. The Burger was a sight to see. It was large and pink and great. Then we had practically one of everything for dessert which was the end to a perfect night. The service COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. We had one main server, Lily, who was professional and got everything right (Definitely ask for her) and a handful of other servers during the night that were attentive and professional. The kitchen is in full view of every table and was great to watch. The room was comfortable and the ambiance helped make the night special. Highly recommend this for a dinner you can count on as being one of the best.“

“We unexpectedly stumbled upon this diner when looking for somewhere to eat on our ride home to Jersey. This diner is worth a stop on your list!It was so cute inside-everything was decorated with cool posters on the walls, even the bathrooms and spunky light fixtures covered the ceiling. There was a "soda shop" area, a "bakery" area, and a bar with some seating. They had a decent amount of booths/bar chairs -only half of which were open when we were there, but seems like that depends on the time you go.I got a lunch special -Mac and cheese & pulled pork grilled cheese, it was amazing. Also ordered were a chicken sandwich, eggs Benedict, and a "down under" burger, all of which came out great. We tried a cream soda and headed back on the road with our black and white cookies (only one pictured because I ate mine too fast) ?Everything is very clean, prices are great, atmosphere is very welcoming, service was goodWe would go back again!“

“Monday night Prime Rib was amazing. Im a salt-o-holic i didn't need salt on my prime rib it was perfect when dipped in the sauce. Service well everyone knows everyone in the place a true local pub. The food is always good, the service is done quickly and with a smile, and the regulars are always entertaining. This place delivers so much more then your normal neighborhood pub. Check it out! “Googled a good sports bar and this was the number one option. It's a indoor golf/whiskey bar more than a sports bar but drinks are good and cheap. The kitchen messed up my food order but it was still good so I won't knock any points off. The bartender and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I'll come back for sure.“

“The food has consistently been delicious and well portioned. We highly suggest the French Onion soup and Artichoke Spinach dip as appetizers, sooooo good! The only downside of this great eatery is how tight the room is, which makes for a quite noisy atmosphere. We will certainly be coming back many times more in the future!“

“The boys got burgers and dogs but the veggie stack is for me. It was so so good! Sliced mushrooms, sweet potato with crispy Swiss and an avocado-bean spread. The salad was lightly dressed and also very good. The boys loved their burgers and the big bucket of fries! In a matter of fact, they kept reordering them The hubby also got the "dirty" hot dogs but he said they were nothing to write home about. All in all the place is great. “A local favorite for over 50 years, FOSTER’S is great. The menu is solid and their famous London Broil whether you get the sandwich or full dinner, it’s always a good meal. The service is spot on and very friendly. Fun local energy too.“
