“Love this little diner. Food is awesome, service is fast and this place is always crowded. We tried to get here by nine and it was packed at that time. We did get a table and if you'd like, you can sit at the 'bar,' a long line of stools attached to a long table kind of like at a bar. They take cash or credit, phone orders for pick up. Cozy, nice atmosphere, kind of loud at times. I had the Mediterranean omelet, my kids had different variations of eggs, bacon or sandwiches and my husband had an Irish Eggs Benedict.“

“We walked into Dirty Dave's not knowing what to expect, we got our menus and the first thing g that struck me were the prices, so far good start. We ordered our drinks then our food, I ordered the New York strip, with fries and mac salad. My wife ordered the fish fry, my nephew got the Buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings.I'll start with the steak. The flavor was out of this world, savory delicious, the steak was so tender I didn't need a knife to cut it. I'd call it perfect, found no fault there, the Mac salad was some of the best I've ever had, the fries also perfect. Crispy outside, tender and fluffy inside. My nephew loved his onion rings and wrap, and my wife's fish fry was so big she had to take some with her. All in all, we had just about the perfect experience at Dirty Daves.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great prices and great service.The worst thing Dirty Dave's could do is fire their cook. We will be going back.“

“Strangebird is a beautiful space and was bursting with energy when I stopped in for dinner. The decor reminded me of NYC or San Francisco, inspired design. The beers on tap are not your ordinary IPAs although they have a few of those. Sours, Belgians, and other interesting brews. I took home Mount Hope which is a lager with Pinot Noir grapes. I enjoyed the beers I tried, it pays to experiment. The food for me was decent, I opted for the smash-burger, which was serviceable, but the pizza looks like a good option. I would return to Strangebird. Outstanding service at the bar.“

“The Genesee Brew House is a true gem,nestled in the High Falls District. You know the food is great,as the restaurant is always busy and fun. I love the full menu,including delicious appetizers,just for starters. I’ve never been disappointed,in my experiences there!! “I was invited to attend a concert at Fanatics in Lima, NY, to see the Jazz group, The Howard Levy 4. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by Norm and a few other regular customers. We arrived early to have a meal. We had chicken wings, two "garbage plates, and the beef and cheddar sandwich. We were all very pleased with our meals, which arrived timely and hot. The bar provides top shelf drinks as well. The live music is played in the back where there is ample seating. To see the bands, you buy tickets and have assigned seating. You can also order food and drinks in here as well. My husband the fried zucchini with ranch, which he enjoyed. I opted for the decadent and very sweet, snicker peanut butter pie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate. Delish! Fanatics reminds me of a "cheers" bar where everyone seems to know your name. Fanatics is a gem in this village of Lima!“

“My friend and I went there for dessert and a beverage. The selection was outstanding. I ordered the Viennese Mirangue Torte, it was delicious. My friend has the raspberry cheesecake, she said it too was delicious. The service & attention from the waitress was excellent. We are planning on going again.“

“Founders Café is a Rochester treasure. AMAZING food - everything on the menu is great, even if I tend to get the same thing most visits because I love their salads so much. “Nothing says Friday like an excellent fish fry! The place was packed out. Routine occurrence on Fridays so if you are going on Friday reservations are recommended. “Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. “Wow. I’d read about the garbage plate, and on a recent trip to Rochester, decided I had to try it out. I’ll say that it’s a little difficult to find the restaurant. The signage looks like it is a few decades out of date, and you wonder if there’s anything in the building. The building is also kind of falling apart. You’d never know that a veritable goldmine of culinary delight is hiding behind the crumbling brick. Go around the back and enter in the glass door that is unlabeled. The staff was very eager to explain the various garbage plates. It’s not fancy, but it’s great. I loved everything about my dining experience at Nick Tahou Hots. Food was wonderful and served within five minutes of ordering. I’d give it six stars if it were allowed.“

“Found a gem this past weekend! Clean cozy little restaurant on Buffalo Rd. Went for breakfast and it was sooooo good. Typical breakfast menu with a couple of specials including Frittatas. The number one thing that impressed me most was everything was hot. Not warm it was hot, which is not easy to do. Hash browns were crispy, pancakes and French toast were tender, sausage was tasty and not greasy, eggs were hot! The waitress was attentive and friendly and our coffee mugs were never empty. Do yourselves a favor and try Ezzys!“

“We couldn't have asked for a better meal or experience. We brought my father-in-law out for a belated Christmas gift meal, and it was everything I hoped for. We had filet mignon with scallops, the seafood platter and veal parmesan. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. We also got dessert: peanut butter pie, Snicker bar pie and key lime pie. The restaurant immediately gave us a positive vibe with friendly accommodating staff. We sat at a high top table in the bar area where the gang who were belly up to the bar were having fun together. The main restaurant is large and also nicely decorated.We ordered two of the many flavored options of wings, and they were large and perfectly cooked. “Stopped by Stone’s to meet a friend after work. The bar is located in a small renovated house with outdoor seating on the back deck. Friendly welcoming staff and patrons considering it’s similar to a “Cheers” bar where everyone knows each other. Nice daily food and drink specials, cheerful atmosphere, plenty of off street parking, and good prices. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries for $12! They also have a $10 burger night, and steak night (not sure of the cost). It’s worth a visit go check them out.“

“I was blown away by the food ! I did a simple Google search of restaurants nearby and decided to pick this place thinking cute diner food will be average, so glad I was wrong. Everything was delicious was so shocked that a small place and in my "city" opinion in the middle of nowhere lol had probably some of the best food I've had. My mother got the chicken dumplings great flavor. I order the homemade meatloaf outstanding. My girlfriend order the Whipple plate I'm not sure what's on it but wow !! Loved it . Also order there French onion soup and me and girlfriend both agree probably top 1-2 we ever had and my girlfriend definitely orders it at every restaurant we go to haha. “The bar tender Austin, is HIM!Not only does he provide amazing service, I watched him run out of the bar, leaping the fence bushes and a 10 yard gap to save children from a burning bus. “Visited while traveling for the 2024 eclipse. It was pretty busy, but staff were friendly and the vibe was good. We had some awesome recommendations regarding the alcohol selection. The food was pretty tasty. The avocado chicken salad had a great dressing pairing to go with the charred romaine. Funnel cake fries were very creative. The taco taco pizza definitely hits as a good nosh to go with beer. If I am in town again, I will definitely give this place a visit.“

“I was only in there one time, but I was treated very, very well. The woman that worked there said she had been working there for quite some time. She was an excellent conversationist. And I liked the fact that they have a separate smoking room. Because I don't smoke and I would not even be in there if they did smoke but the atmosphere was great. “Due to Covid-19, we were very last minute at planning our daughter’s graduation party. I found Dave while searching on the internet, read his reviews and then contacted him. It was one week before our party. He was already booked for a party before ours the same day but he told me he could still drop off everything we would need. He went above and beyond to accommodate us, helped me choose the menu, and assured me I didn’t need to worry. He brought everything right to us, set it all up, even waited until they arrived to dress the Caesar salad so it was super fresh.
