“This place is amazing! Nangma means melody and it makes us sing every time we go there. The Chong Qing Chili Chicken is one of our favorites! But don’t sleep on the Shoko Phing Soup, Tibetan Style. It will cure anything that ails. Sides that are awesome every time are the green beans, bok choy and the cauliflower casserole. Also the Spicy Fish Fillet with Tofu is out of this world. “This was my least favorite visit. The waitress wasn't amazing. The food was really good, but it's usually amazing. I would say it was a lot busier than I'm used to, so I'm sure that is the reason. I've worked in the food and hospitality field for many years and understand that part now what I don't understand is during a busy night the waitress being on her phone chatting it up with a co-worker while I'm there trying to get some more drinksand service. That was really disappointing. I also saw other tables of hers waiting at that moment as well, but I guess when gratuity is automatically included, you don't have to wow the customer. Their medium spicy is slightly spicy. The wait for the braised pork rice was a bit long. The braised pork is salty and suitable for rice. Because the pork tastes strong, a classmate and I don't like it very much. So I mixed the corn with the braised pork sauce and served it with curry chicken. The service in the store is relatively timely, and it can be seen that it is very experienced. You can tell from the menu. The store has a rich menu and has 8 tables. It is a cozy shop. We ate at noon on non-weekends, so we didn't have to wait for a table. The overall feeling is OK.“

Since their renovations last year the quality of everything from the plates to the whole interior design has improved. Not only that but the food is one of the best in the neighborhood.“

Came on a Saturday night and we sat down right away. The servers were very friendly and took the time to explain each part of the Thali we got.

Food:
- veg thali (4/5) - this is definitely a good bang for your buck, given that you can ask for refills. My favorite was the pea dish.
- veg jhol mojos (4.5/5) - nice deep flavor, the momos were solid. I’d be curious to try the chili ones and the fried ones next time.
- mango lassi (5/5) - everything you want mango lassi to be.

“Overall, it was pretty good. Chili chicken momos were really good and stayed crispy even when cooked in sauce. The garlic naan was fantastic and very well made. The vegetable thali was overall really good, but the dal was a little bland, in my opinion. They're very generous with the amount of rice they give you.

I was a little disappointed by the tandoori chicken. It was a little underseasoned, and one of the pieces was very overcooked and dry. The butter chicken was made well and tasted alright; it was too sweet/not savory enough for me. Too much added sugar, personally.

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

And the chef who is a special guest chef on Sundays only does the most amazing brunch! Bottomless mimosas for $20 sets the mood. Hoka available. And then there's the food which was an epic culinary celebration! We had the stuffed shrimp, the blackened salmon and both over grits which were creamy, flavorful and delicious! The bun has a nice crust all over it. The patty was tender and juicy. It also came with a healthy and generous amount of lettuce. The fries were okay, nothing too special. And the kimchi pancake!!!!!! It was so delicious! It was thin and crispy and had kimchi pieces in every single bites. It might a little oily, but that’s what made it so delicious. I like that you get 2 different types of foods from 2 different continents, and they are both authentic and delicious. The server was very nice. Highly recommended. I’d love to come back again!
