“Some friends and family went out for my birthday and I don’t know about those bad reviews but it was so yummy! We all enjoyed the all you can eat seafood. It had so much flavor and we weren’t rushed at all. The service was great, good portions for the pricing. They even gave me a free dessert and a cute keychain attachment. “Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“My FAVORITE pizza place in Ridgefield! I’ve been eating their pepperoni pizza for a decade now, usually 1-3 times each week.

I love their rich pizza sauce, the crust is nice and crispy, and they’ve got the sliced pepperoni which is great so no cups of grease like at some other places. Their slices are flavorful, and I don’t even need to add any extra spices unless I want some heat.

The staff are friendly and professional, and they always remember regulars. It has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, so I like decompressing after work there, or just meeting with my family for a quick sit-down lunch.“

“The food good is delicious. The prices are a bit higher than expected, but I suppose that's partly due to the food being Halal. One of my favorites there is the Kabob Roll. It's not listed on the menu. It comes with kabobs wrapped in freshly made naan with your choice of toppings like lettuce, tomato, onions, etc. it also comes with white sauce and a spicy sauce on the side. The Kabob Roll is flavorful - spiced just right. And if you douse it with the white/hot sauce provided you're going to be in for a treat. The fish and chips is also an excellent choice. The meals are filling and there is a kids menu available. There are tables for indoor dining and a TV that frequently has a soccer game on.“

I've always been pleased with what they serve and their service. Shout out to their dumplings in particular, not too doughy, not too greasy.. Just perfect!“

“There was music, amazing service, and it was absolutely authentic. It's wasn't salty and it wasn't oily. It had flavor and you can seriously taste the Ecuadorian passion in the food.
There ampinadas were fresh and light. Everything was made from scratch. The pickled onion salad truly compliments the Ampinadas.
I truly hope it stays this way, and whoever is working at the time of my wife and I eating there should be the backbone and foundation of this magnificent Ecuadorian cuisine.“

“10 out of 10 would recommend. Went with the whole family. We were all very happy with our food and that’s hard to say with how picky our little ones are. All the staff were super kind and helpful. Everything looks amazing there. I can’t be the only one that eyes down the food as it comes out of the kitchen 🤷🏼‍♂️. I went with the Ram Smash Burger and it was cooked to perfection. Thanks Gates.
