“Really delicious food! I came here to try the Polo Better known as Plov or بخاري as they call it in the Middle East.
Ended up trying the Noodles, Manta (better known as Mantu) Lamb Skewers. The manta was the best I ever had in the states! Everything was really delicious!
Since they didn’t have what I came for the chef came out with red tea, which is also really good. This is my go to restaurant whenever I am in the FIDI. I cannot recommend enough! This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in NYC.“

“Almost walked by this place - definition of hidden gem. Most enthusiastic and friendly owner. Most interesting and delicious pad thai, thai crepe, ive ever had, out of probably 100+ thai spots. This immediately rose to #1 position. I'll be back... often!“

“We had a party of 4 that dined in. We had a few questions about the menu and the servers provided great options for us. When the food came, it had the perfect visual appeal. We had the house rice, beef and broccoli, spring rolls and pot stickers. Everything was delicious 😋 The rice was our favorite. We will definitely return!“

“Very professional place always. I complained about my order being a bit too salty to my liking and they apologized and gave me a whole new meal without any complications. Great customer service and the food tastes really good. First time my food came out salty and never had that issue before. They have a clean restaurant & the lady up front is very pleasant and friendly.“

“This was my first time ordering. I order for pick up. I got three bowls of rice noodles, and it seemed like one was made a little differently than expected. I called the restaurant, and they were super polite, answered my question, and even offered to make another one. The service was fast, the staff were friendly, and the noodles tasted great. I’ll definitely order again!“

“Japan Village in Brooklyn — where you step in for culture and end up questioning everything you thought you knew about noodle soup.
First stop: Gohei. The stall hits you with nine different noodle bowls — soba or udon, your choice… but choose wisely, warrior. I learned the hard way that not every soup and noodle combo is meant to be. The Gyusuji (sweet beef offal broth) is straight-up legendary if you go with udon. Go with soba, and it’s like putting a Prius engine in a monster truck — not built for it, my friend.
They even throw in tendon, tripe, and konnyaku (aka devil’s tongue — sounds hardcore, tastes amazing).
Bottom line: this place will humble your noodle game real quick. 🍜🔥

“I am by myself and have no idea where to eat in Brooklyn. I visited few restaurant, but lastly, i came to LanZhou Noodle. You need to seat yourself and order at the counter. It is not busy the time when I visited.
The portion is way out of my expectations as I had food in Manhattan and other states, It is bigger than i thought. I thought it is not going to be this much, so i ordered 3 items.
It is really a good price for all of these together around 29dollar.“

“It is a pretty good place for fish slice dishes the food was pretty good with good flavors but not strong the service was pretty normal not bad but also not amazing and the atmosphere is not well with it being quite empty with decore and the amount of people that eat there. Definitely still give it a try but dont expect the most amzaing thing ever“

“Recently open and the place is phenomenal. The food is cheap and affordable. Service is superior aka fast and no tip unless you want to. We had the steam pork buns, the fuzhou wonton soup, noodles with peanut sauce and the mei fen with beef tripe soup. I got the pan fried pork buns to go. It was super good and tasteful. I will so come back again with Jo regrets. I recommend it 297372727%“

“My favorite spot for the winter with their nice soup noodles for about only $10 per bowl which is really nice with how much they give you and how warming you will feel every bite. it is like any other restaurant, you wait until they seat you, wait until you are ready to order, you wait for the food, eat, tip and leave. the place is usually really packed during lunch time so either be lucky/wait to eat or not go at lunch.“

“We were visiting this Chinese neighborhood in Brooklyn and one of the employees recommended this restaurant for noodles. It was amazing, really one of the best places we have eaten and seemed very authentic. This is very much understated, a hole in the wall with a relatively simple menu. You pay cash, the food comes out. Piping hot for dining in or takeout, fresh, delicious, and when you are done you have already paid. So you just leave. Leave. There were many people came in while we were eating in which says to me that this is a favored neighborhood joint. Highly recommended.“

“After reading the reviews and asking a few patrons, I skipped the ramen for some special sushi rolls. The rainbow roll and the crunchy shrimp rolls were very, very good compared to standard expected airport sushi quality. You can taste the smokiness of the shrimp on that roll (likely torched, suggests it was handled with care rather than repackaged ready made sushi rolls).
Prices are generally 20% more expensive than your average sushi joint.“

“This is such a special place. This food belongs in the Bible. It should be revered like the Kings and Queens and even the gods of mythology. You’re not getting better dumplings than this. The shredded meat and cabbage or leek is so tender, so sweet, spicy, sour, vinegary, and the tender sheath, the skin of the dumpling is so chewy yet soft and wheaty and flavorful like nothing else. It’s just as unique as the distinct flavor of a Cheerios or Quaker oatmeal, but completely different and better. This is just the steamed dumplings mind you. The rest of the food will need subsequent reviews. Phenomenal. Eat there today.
Edit: These days it’s all about the oxtail noodle soup. Hot dog that dish is popping.“
