“I’m updating my review after giving Ohkami Ramen several more visits, and I’ve got to say; what a turnaround. The difference in service is night and day. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you warmly, checks in regularly, and actually seems to care that you’re having a good experience. It feels like management really took the feedback to heart and made the necessary changes. The whole place runs smoother, more organized, and the energy feels positive now.

The food, on the other hand, has always been rock solid and that’s one thing that never changed. What continues to impress me most is how consistent it is. Every bowl of ramen, every plate of gyoza, and every pork belly bun comes out just as perfect as the last time. The flavors are rich, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. That kind of consistency in quality says a lot about the pride this kitchen takes in what they do.

You can tell this team has found their rhythm. The space feels more inviting, the service matches the level of the food, and it’s now an experience that delivers from start to finish. I don’t hand out five stars easily, but Ohkami earned every bit of it. It’s officially one of my go-to spots, and I’m glad I gave it another chance and they truly stepped it up across the board.“

“I love this place. They always have great and fresh food. My favorite has to be the vegetable ramen. It’s so delicious, their chicken wings are flavorful and guns texture is pretty good. I love their bubble tea as well. I order through Uber eats majority of the time, I wonder if I can directly order from this restaurant though. I think I’ll find that out. Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea. This place is highly recommended by me. 10 stars“

The ramen here is the star: the broth is deep and rich with layers of savory flavor that linger, the noodles are fresh with the right chew, and each bowl feels thoughtfully prepared.

The gyoza were crisp with a light, flavorful filling, a solid start to the meal. The pork belly buns were decent , tender pork, soft buns, though not the standout of the night, they still hit the craving. The portions were fair, and prices are reasonable for the quality.

The space is clean and welcoming with a relaxed, neighborhood vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without hovering, which I appreciate.

It’s clear this is a spot that cares about its food and its customers. Would love to see more variety in appetizers to round out the menu, but overall, Hitto Ramen is a reliable, comforting choice when you want a warm, satisfying meal without the trek into the city. “My best friend and I visited Susukino Ramen last night and it was honestly a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We decided to try their $29 dinner special, which includes your choice of ramen, sushi, and an appetizer — and it was absolutely worth it.

Everything came out fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. The ramen was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the portion size was perfect. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh and well-balanced, and you could tell care was put into the preparation. Even the appetizer exceeded expectations — nothing felt rushed or thrown together. Every dish was consistent and high quality.

The atmosphere really made the night even better. The restaurant felt cozy and warm but still spacious and comfortable. It wasn’t overcrowded or loud, which made it the perfect setting to relax, catch up, and enjoy a good meal. The lighting and overall vibe created such a welcoming environment — especially for sushi and ramen.

“Fantastic food, great ambiance. I throughly enjoyed the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and Chicken skewer, the broth was thick and bold full of flavor, the pork was sweet and salty and very tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I would come here every day if I lived in New York.“

“I ordered for lunch and the food came out very quickly. I got the spicy signature ramen and it was very good! It had a good kick and the umami flavor was good too. The charsiu was unexpectedly tender and sweet. It melts in your mouth and it was perfect combined with the spicy, garlicky broth. Since there was Christmas music playing in the background, I felt cozy since the ramen was warming me up. I would recommend!! If you don't like spicy foods or can't handle them that well, they also have a non-spicy version of the signature ramen. Although pricey (well, pretty normal for the city), it was worth it. You should try this place at least once. Also!! I recommend the passion fruit lemonade. I rarely see this drink in other places so it was a nice change. This place makes the drink with a good ratio of the passion fruit and the lemonade. They also fill the cup to the top!!“

“I had the Chef Omakase plate and it was super delicious. The ataff went over and the main highlights were the toro hand roll, the toro belly, uni and salmon! The fish was pretty fresh. The wagyu beef was also a nice treat towards the end and super tasty. The staff were awesome all around and got my order in a reasonable time.

The location is pretty convenient near the World Trade Center Station/Fulton if you're in this end of the city. If you're in the area I really recommend it.“

“Tonkotsu Deluxe Ramen is my go-to. Really delicious, really flavorful. Wish the pork slices were thicker. Countertop red spice makes it a little saltier and a little spicier. Do NOT go to the ramen spot in Yokocho Alley, it is not flavorful and you get way less for what you pay for.“

“The restaurant is located in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the sushi bento box. It includes choice of soup or salad, three shumai, rice, and eight pieces of sushi. The sashimi bento box is the same with nine pieces of sashimi. The harumaki are Japanese spring rolls and were crisp. The vegetable gyoza are dumplings with a vegetable filling. The food was fresh, well-prepared and well-priced. Very friendly and helpful staff.“

“Never got to order anything, but I wanted to shout out the great bartender. He’s a really fun guy to talk to. I crashed at one of the seats here for a few moments to look something up, and the bartender welcomed me with a glass of water, and even gave me some water to go, even though I had never even ordered anything. I’d recommend just for the bartender !“
