“I have been to Brendels multiple times since they have opened. Let me tell you, I have never been disappointed. I drive 15 minutes to go to Brendels whenever I want breakfast (at least 2x a week) and pass multiple bagel places on the way.

The owners are often present here and are behind the counter working ensuring that service is going smoothly. My food has always been delicious and they have a large variety and great specials. Once you go here, you won't be going anywhere else (at least that is what happened to me).

I believe they are a local family that owns it and that is what brought me in the first time to give them a chance. Now they have me hooked!!

The hero roll was just right (fresh and not too hard or dry) Having breakfast food delivered can be iffy (at your own risk) but the Hungryman I ordered from Bagel City Co. was excellent, best I've had since moving to the Smithtown area.“

“Been going to Joel's bagels forever! Rolando and family are such beautiful people, warm, welcoming, and funny. I moved to patchogue some years back and began the hunt for a good bagel spot. I walked in and couldn't believe how friendly everyone was. Instantly it became my #1 go-to. The food is tasty and the people treat you like family. “It doesn't matter what day of the week you going to this place they're always a bunch of friendly professional people here to help you get exactly what you want to eat first thing in the morning or in the afternoon. I usually get my coffee and bagels here and breakfast sandwiches here but recently I started getting some of their sandwiches my favorite is the cheesy chicken hero. “I've always been going to this location due to its convenience but now that it's under new ownership this year, not only is it better but you get more for your dollar. The prices now are actually better than they were under previous management. Great combinations for breakfast or lunch, many fresh cream cheeses and bagels/flagles. I highly recommend this location. If you cannot find it, go right past the Walgreens if you are heading north on Terry and turn where it says massage envy because it is easy to miss. If you hit Maureen's, you went too far north. It will be on your right.“

“My family has been getting breakfast from this place ever since we’ve moved here 8 years ago and almost everything we’ve got were delicious. The bagels are soft and warm, you could choose from all different types of cream cheese and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. “Bagel Patch in Medford, CT, holds such a special place in my husband's heart—it's the bagel spot he grew up with, where his dad would always pick up fresh bagels on the weekends. We made sure to stop by over Easter weekend to keep the tradition alive, and it did not disappoint! They're involved with numerous Charities from coats and toys for the needy, to Cancer Research, for our Men and Women in the Armed Services. They donate to local hospitals events and fundraisers. I've tried Bagel Stores from Miller Place to Stony Brook, from Coram to Port Jeff, including other Strathmore's and by far Strathmore of Mount Sinai has been the best.“

“I’ve been getting bagels here since the early 2000s. Their bagels are my favorite, tighter and denser than a lot of other places in the area, which I prefer. Their bagel sandwiches are delicious.Coffee could be stronger and hotter though, and it’s more expensive than the competition. I remember when the bagel sandwiches were like 5+ dollars, now they’re almost 11. I realize everything in the area has gone up, though, so it is what it is.“

“The bagles are always perfect. I don’t think they serve any hard bagles. Every time I go it’s always perfect. I love my egg everything Bagle with veggie cream cheese and jelly. Real amazing combo. The staff is great. There all so friendly. I now go 2-3 times a week. Prior I was going once a week. The prices are great. 4.30 for that combination of special cream cheese and jelly. “I ordered a Bacon, egg and cheese on a roll with 2 eggs. While I waited I also received a coffee with the order and when I got my meal it also came with home fries. Total was $10.85 with tax. I enjoyed the food very much.
