The staff is always kind and ask how your day is going which is sadly lost at a lot of other establishments. Keep up the great service.“

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

This place is honestly one of my go-to's whenever I'm not totally sure what I'm in the mood for but I know I want something really good, and they never, ever let me down. Their wine list is solid too. The staff are always super friendly and on top of things. Everything comes out perfectly seasoned and the portions are seriously generous.

My usual order is the chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad and fries on the side. You can't go wrong with it.“

“You can read story on their wall but this is not roasted as it says since chicken skin not even crispy. It’s braised old, tough chicken (similar to Coq Au Vin) which not really my thing since kinda dry & tough.

I got noodle soup as side so it somewhat masks dryness but still not as good as juicy, tender chicken. I’m more into young, tender chicken slow roasted under low heat.

Place is tiny & more a takeout place. Prices & service good but style of cooking just not my thing.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “First time at The Commodore and we thought Labor Day afternoon at 4pm, how many guests could there possibly be if we showed up at 3:45pm? Well, to our surprise, a crowd was already gathered outside so that was a great sign of a great spot. We were there for their well-known fried chicken, great bar drinks and super relaxing Williamsburg bar vibes. This spot is bigger than it seems from the outside. Multiple areas including the bar, indoor booths, tables and outdoor seating as well. The Commodore definitely catered to everyone's desire.

We sat at the bar but note, The Commodore is self-sitting meaning order drinks and food at the bar, keep tab open or close tab immediately and you get your drink right away, but they do serve your food to your table. The staff is genuinely nice and service is very professional.

Located right near BQE and Metropolitan, this area is relatively easy for parking especially on Sunday and or holiday.“
