For appetizers, we chose the Sautéed Greens and Poutine. Both excellent. For entrees, four of us chose the Filet Mignon and the fifth chose the special, NY Strip Steak. All just melted right in your mouth. This was our first time here but definitely not our last. Then to top things off, the next day I get a call from the owner, Charlie, who wanted to know how our dining experience was. You never hear of that anywhere today so you know he takes great pride in his business. I should note my daughter brought home her leftover Filet Mignon to her boyfriend who raved about it and also said it was the best he ever had.”

“Went to Joey's for the first time last night. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. From the fresh bread with yummy garlic butter to delicious salads and fabulous entrees. I ordered Shrimp Francaise and it was the best food I have ever eaten. I brought Tiramisu home for desert. Again, mouth watering, so so delicious. My friends had eggplant Parmesan, clams, salmon, chicken french, and all raved about their entrees. But the other best part was the host Chris and our wonderful server Nancy. She is by far the best server ever. She made our evening fun while providing excellent service. Totally in tuned with our table and always answering our questions with knowledge and a wonderful attitude. The ambiance was great. Nice little tables for two in corners and just the right atmosphere for everyone.”

“I've never said "Wow, this is a good burger" when I went to any other McDonald's. I don't know if they salt the patties or have some other secret method, but WOW the burger I got blew me away. I liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the place. Only downside is the music might not be to everyone's taste, but everything else made it a shockingly good stop.”

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Syracuse. The fries are immaculate with the perfect crispy exterior, and soft smooth interior. My go to main dish is the Kefta Kebab, and they always fulfill my request of extra Sumac on the side :) The staff is so friendly, it's always pleasant to come here. I am moving and this will be the place I genuinely miss the most in Syracuse!! I forgot to take a picture before eating, so here is a picture of my leftovers from the Kefta Kebab platter. This is a must visit restaurant if you like middle eastern food!!

In every basket I include the three items that are a part of an old traditional house blessing: “Bread—that this house may never know hunger, Salt—that life may always have flavor, and Wine—that joy and prosperity may reign forever” I always use small, local businesses for the products to make and fill my basket. Especially the bread! I want it to be same-day fresh, and from a bakery as close to the client’s new home as possible. Well, yesterday I had a final walkthrough with a client in the Scottholm neighborhood, and Tous Les Jours was the closest option. Boy was I blown away by every detail of this shop!! It was pristine, every item and every surface sparkled and gleamed, there were so many delicious looking pastries and so many I had never seen before! The chefs were dressed in beautiful gingham uniforms and chatted with us as easily as if they had known us for years. I will definitely be going back many times. And my clients very much appreciated the delicious, authentic French Baguette!”

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

When the waitress brought my dinner I was upset because it had gravy. She took them back to the kitchen. When she returned it seemed that I had more than before. Unfortunately I am allergic to gluten, which was in the gravy. For the last 2 days, I have been having symptoms related to eating gluten.”

“I disagree 100 percent that the riggies here taste better than Utica. They simply don’t. The portion size was great, but the chicken was so cut way too small. The sauce just didn’t hit my taste buds the same. The cheese and seasoning on the saucer for bread is just odd. Not bad, just odd. My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.”

“I just moved to Glen Ave and had no idea who to get good Chinese from so I read reviews. Some were scary with roaches and this looked good! Well they exceeded my expectations. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly and followed my request on shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Both rice dishes had fresh and perfectly cooked meat and not overcooked and hard. The crab ragoons are the best I have ever had and I am a snob when it comes to those. This is THE best authentic Chinese restaurant I ever had and will be ordering again soon!”

Both times I went it was slow. Once was for dinner service and the next time was for lunch service. Same two waitresses on both times. Love the food but the service leaves something to be desired. Makes me wonder what happens if it’s actually busy. However, the food has been incredible enough so far that I’ll keep going back until the food and the service both become subpar. Hopefully that won’t ever happen.”

“So we tried to get crab legs last week (not here) and had one of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had as a guest at a restaurant. Decided to try them at Daniella's this time and they were awesome! We told our waitress about our experience last week and just like we were, she was shocked by how we were treated. She went above and beyond to make our night a great one. At one point her and I were joking about her helping crack them open with me because this girl can out eat the guys when it comes to crab legs 🤷🏻♀️ lol and a few minutes later she actually pulled up a chair, put on some gloves and said let's do this!! “This place was great and it's an entire vibe. They encouraged us to come back with other people and hang out and play board games in their beautiful open space, and/or order food and have it brought there and make an evening of it.
They are so down to earth, and this is so surprising for how GOOD their wines are. I am a dry wine fan and those were excellent, but what I thought was interesting was that the sweet wines weren't overly sweet and were very drinkable and palatable. There is definitely something where for everyone.

“After several years of having no Thai restaurant to call our own, I think we finally found our place. The food was amazing, the service was prompt and very friendly and engaging. I was warned when I ordered the hot (their spice levels are mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot, and I'm not doing Thai hot ever again, IYKYK). We had a great conversation with our server about the spice level and the food quality. I told her I came here for the heat and to let me have it. There's just something about Thai spice that compliments the dishes so well, it's why I love Thai cuisine so much when done right. Can I just tell you how happy this food made us? When we lost our local Thai place, it was like there was a death in the family. This was like seeing an old friend again. I ordered panang curry with chicken and Julie ordered a mango cashew stir fry. Wow. Both dishes were amazing. The flavors were so pronounced, the veggies were so fresh. It hit all the buttons. And just like the place we used to frequent, the heat was perfect. It was about 8 star heat for those of you who frequented Thai rose. I told my server when she brought it out I was quite excited to be able the see the heat in my dish with all the red speckles in it. We can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu, very highly recommended.”

The atmosphere was quiet as it was a Wednesday. But very open and relaxing!
The service was interesting. Isabella was my waitress. A young college student who just finished at a local community college and said she was considering continuing her education in business finance. I see nothing but success in this young girls future! She is professional, and appears to have a solid work ethic as well!
If you are a local, give this place a try. And if you are traveling from out of town and staying in the hotel, you have a really good place to eat right downstairs!

I was immediately charmed by the ambience– black shiny brick, big mirrors, and lots of green plants surrounded attractive seating– and hoped the food would measure up.
The pork chop was well-cooked and flavorful but even more delicious was the egg and fried rice that surrounded it. The presentation was lovely (see little flower!!!)
The bone marrow appetizer was delicious, assuming you enjoy Gorgonzola (I do)
The pasta’s size was shockingly generous, and it was creamy and flavorful. The Calabrian peppers definitely gave it a nice kick.
The Snicker’s cookie topped with ice cream was exactly what I wanted– straight-forward, simple, and nostalgic.
As for the drinks, I wasn’t drinking tonight but my friend ordered the [Not Your Mama’s] Amaretto Sour which featured an overproof rum and was absolutely insanely delicious. Would highly recommend.

They offered a lovely spread of breakfast and lunch items, including an omelette station, french toast bake, fruit, salads, chicken, and incredible freshly baked desserts (truffles, cream pies, bars). Terri, our waitress, was attentive and pleasant and the manager watched over the whole operation carefully. We have gone to other brunches and nothing compares. Other places are crowded and just not very special. We will return to next year.”

We have been going enough that we know most of them pretty well now. The bouncers are super professional and take care of issues very quickly. I have seen them be verbally abused, and they just smile and take it. They don't have ridiculous egos like some of the bouncers from other bars and clubs close by.

We had been to this location back in the late 80s when my wife went to school at SU… upon arrival it looked the same! I hope the current owners can do something about the tired and worn exterior and get rid of the artificial Christmas tree branches in the planter and tell the owner of the closed credit union next door to cut the lawn! We were hoping for better inside and it was!
Stepped inside to a classic American steak house! Our steaks were cooked perfectly! My wife got the 7oz filet and I got the 16oz bone in ribeye- both super tasty. The accompanying sauces were an added bonus! Baked potato and green beans performed and hot upon arrival. Wine list is substantial and varied prices and selections. Service was excellent- attentive and friendly. Owners please fix up the exterior of the building!!!! You wouldn’t want to discourage people from coming in!!!”

All the other stations were very good as usual...I just hope the next time we come the carving station will be open...”

When the waitress brought my dinner I was upset because it had gravy. She took them back to the kitchen. When she returned it seemed that I had more than before. Unfortunately I am allergic to gluten, which was in the gravy. For the last 2 days, I have been having symptoms related to eating gluten.”

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

I looked on the menu and was bummed out because I was in the mood for hawawshi but they didn’t have it. The man behind the counter gladly offered to make it for me, I was so elated. The hawawshi was absolutely delicious and took me back to the ones I had in Egypt 🇪🇬. If you want great food at a decent price with a friendly atmosphere and great music this is the place for you.
