“Delicious! We had an amazing experience here as a party of 7 (4 kids, 3 adults) to celebrate my dad's birthday. The meats (I had the pork chop, my dad the vineyard chicken) were cooked to perfection....juicy and tender. My favorite part was that the kids meals came with green beans! Finally, something other than a beige kids menu. And no chicken fingers. My kids were forced to diversify, and they loved every bite. They had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and burger. Great family-friendly option for a classy dining experience.“

“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

“This location is located in Ridgehill. After a little shopping or after a movie is a good place to go eat. The place is big. It has a good selection and food and drinks, especially their beer selection. Also options for children. Staff was also very pleasant.“

The staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food....oh my goodness the food was worth the wait. “Had my 65th Birthday party back in March in the back room. We had a pianist and wonderful decorations. To say it was fabulous is an understatement. David and Jill looked after every detail. The staff was great and on top of everything. And the food, the food! So good! Every one of our guests went on and on about the whole evening. In fact at least one of our friends is going to book their next birthday there.“

“Nice little Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Self service counter with limited seating. Coffee is fantastic and they do have gluten free bread for toast to go with omelets or to make sandwiches. I would be careful if you're very sensitive as I'm not sure about cross contamination.“

From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “It's been a while since I had been to Freelance but was reminded as soon as I walked in why I loved it there. I was greeted at the door, was seated immediately and while I waited for my friend to join me, I was very comfortable. The food was delicious, I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly along with a wedge salad to start, and should add it was the best dressing I've had in a while! I look forward to going back, perfect for a date night or an evening out with a friend. The bar area looked very friendly and comfortable, I would have no problem stopping in for a drink if I was in the area. Highly recommend on all levels.“

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“I live around the corner, but haven't been there in years. I am a type 2 diabetic and it isn't easy to find meals that please and aren't a danger to my health. When I inquired about their sushi rolls and asked if they had any without rice the server said they could make one without. I chose the California roll stuffed with lump crab and avocado and it was beyond satisfying, presentation was beautiful as well. The only down side was that we ate in the beautiful back dining room and you could smell a strong grilled fishy odor in the dining room across the hall from the open door to the kitchen. Otherwise it was a perfect dining experience.“
