The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. A nostalgic treat done right.

“Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they've taken them out of the oven, I don't even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they're busy but that's a good sign. There are regulars who come every morning and read newspapers while having their bagels. It's a neighborly place with excellent bagels.“
