“I was out today riding my motorcycle over the mountain and stopped in for a twist cone. Your chocolate and vanilla ice cream is so rich in flavor. I remember if correctly it was called Juergen's Place back in the 1960's.“

The staff are truly incredible, always going above and beyond during your wedding planning process all the way through the wedding. Throughout the planning period, the bad seed team were always available whenever we had questions or needed to figure out logistics. During our wedding day they we're constantly checking in on us to make sure that we we're having a great night and our guests raved about the kindness and care they showed to them throughout the night. Plus, the cider is truly the best you can find! Speaking on the venue space itself, you cannot find a more picturesque location! Set perfectly on their own orchard, you're surrounded by beautiful foliage as far as the eye can see! And the venue itself has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces that will charm all of your guests! “End Cut has been our spot for special occasion dinners here and there, but tonight was a little different. On 1/26 I called to make a reservation for tonight, and to no surprise, I could not for the life of me remember if I made it for 7 or 7:30. So Michael called yesterday and unfortunately our reservation wasn’t on the books. They were completely booked but squeezed us in for 5:30. We had one of the best meals in awhile - mushroom cakes, a porterhouse for two with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, key lime pie and two drinks each. The porterhouse for two was $115 alone.. and I have zero clue what the whole bill was because Chef Jordan took care of our e n t i r e bill. We declined many times but they insisted, so the next best thing I can think of is to recommend the heck out of a place that not only cares about their customer’s experience, but does everything 11/10 from drinks to dessert. Thanks again Chef! We will be back much sooner than just a special occasion 🤝🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Wow! Best distillery we ever visited. The tasting was so fun, and the cocktails were incredibly creative and delicious! Dirty work on the new menu is outstanding!!! What truly made this place stand out is the staff. Rachel, Quinn, and another lovely bartender whose name i forgot (had too much fun i think 😉) were so hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to come back and taste their creations again!

“I recently stopped at the Restaurant at Apple Greens rest area along the Thruway in Upstate New York. Overall, it was a very efficient and convenient stop for a quick meal and break during the trip. I grabbed breakfast at Chick-fil-A, and though it was only my second time trying it, I enjoyed the spicy chicken biscuit—it was pretty good! There’s also a Panera Bread, Burger King, Auntie Anne’s, and a souvenir/convenience store, which offers plenty of options.

The decor is pretty basic, but it’s what you’d expect from a rest stop, so no complaints there. However, the place was quite cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The bathrooms, on the other hand, were very clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated when traveling.

Overall, this rest stop gets the job done and has everything you need for a quick break. I’d recommend it if you're on the Thruway and need to stop for food or a bathroom break.“
