“I just had my daughter’s Baptism party at the HWC and I would HIGHLY recommend!!! Everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. Our guests are still talking about the food and the cake is definitely one of the best we have ever tried. The restaurant is beautiful but the staff and owners make you feel like family. They were so helpful throughout the process and made it such a pleasure to work with them. They really treat you like family. Thank you Chris, Monica and all the staff for making our baby girls day special. We will definelty be having a lot more future parties here. We've been here just a couple of times but our last few visits were tended by Nadean, an absolute delight! Im a super picky eater and tend to have a lot of special requests, but my girl makes me feel like a regular person - no irritation and my order always comes out perfect
The only reason for i pulled a star was because we were sat by the kitchen and my boyfriend is sound sensitive, so the constant dish clattering was rough for him
Maybe consider a sound barrier between the tables and the kitchen, at least by the sink?

“I had a fantastic experience here on Beekman Ave. Everything we ordered arrived perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. The burger was served in a fun checkered paper basket and the crispy fries were seasoned generously with fresh green herbs.

We finished the meal with a decadent slice of chocolate cake topped with a perfect swirl of frosting and a side of ice cream. It was a wonderful treat. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.“

“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

“I'll be honest - I had pretty low expectations given my picky NYC taste buds but this place DELIVERS. The food is rich in flavor, plated like Gordon Ramsay is waiting with a camera crew, and very family friendly. I have a 4 year old and 2.5 year old, and it was so easy with them. There's a huge lawn for them to expend energy and it's in a very quiet little enclosure so it's very safe. The staff are very nice - like they could easily be kindergarten teachers. Definitely adding this spot into my weekly ventures. I almost didn't even wanna leave the review so it remains a hidden gem but they deserve all the business and then some. Thank you!“

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. Stopped by this bar for their open mic night, and WOW — the energy was unreal from start to finish. You could feel the mix of raw talent and pure passion in every performance, but the absolute highlight of the night was the band featuring Matthew Rapelye.

They didn’t just play music — they owned the room. Tight, dynamic, and completely in sync, with vocals and instrumentals that hit every note perfectly. The kind of performance that makes you stop mid-conversation and just listen. People were cheering, vibing, and completely locked in.

The atmosphere? Laid-back but electric. Great crowd, welcoming vibe, and the kind of place where you walk in a stranger and leave feeling like part of something.

Great menu. wine, beer and after dinner drinks selection. The service was impeccable and friendly. The Manager and Sommelier (Emilio) was wonderful and made fabulous recommendations. We live in NYC and took the Metro North just to try the restaurant. We had been there before for drinks with family and decided we needed to return for the food. The setting is perfect, about a minute walk from the train station and right along the Hudson River. We took a stroll on the river waterfront after dinner and watched the stars pop up as it got darker. Perfect!“

“Me and my girl came in with our kids for Father's day today. I was being treated so I didn't come outside with my service quality lenses on. We ordered some pretty basic things like Chicken & Waffles, Chocolate Chip Pancakes and sausages and bacon. My girl ordered Tuna Tare Tare and a steak and eggs combo. The cook on the items were perfect minus a few major details like the Miso flavor on the steak. I'm scratching the remaining details because the manager Shane saved the experience. Between offering a free dessert named Banoffee Pie and understanding my lady's plight with the meal, he really showed empathy during busy hours and I cannot say we've recieved such care before from other establishments. He returned frequently (1 or 2 more times) after our conversation and made sure we enjoyed the remainder of our stay. I would enjoy this restaurant under Shane's care anytime.“
