“Old location was a favorite, but the new location is even better. Much bigger space that is really fun while still feeling intimate. Food is as creative and well done as any place in northeast Ohio. Fine dining presentation and flare while still giving excellent portions. Service was great. Place was clean and well kept. Highly recommend! Try the Black BBQ Tofu while you can, even if not a vegetarian. It’s unreal!

“My husband and I stopped by for breakfast, and ended up leaving with not only sandwiches but $50 of other sweets as well because we couldn’t help ourselves. Staff was super lovely and kind, food was not only fresh and delicious but VERY satiating, and the sugar cookies, macarons, and maple cruller we shared were divine. 10/10 would visit again“

Unfortunately being a Clevelander it isn't very convenient for me to get my favorite pizza which is in Cleveland being that I live in Akron now. If you look up any typical search in Akron for best pizza de Checo's Pops up somewhere in the list. I know a couple of other folks you're in Akron that also love pizza and they Also gave honorable mention to Decheco's. I Head several different pizzas from locations around the area In which one or two Stands out and the rest are Good too above average; Anyway, I decided one evening on the way home to try these folks' pizza. No I have to say that it was the day before the holiday and an hour Before they closed but I ordered just a pepperoni and sausage pizza in which The service was Good but when I got home I wasn't very happy with the pizza Couple of different reason I Here as at this point it's not necessary. I did The need to leave a review because I was extremely disappointed Which to my surprise was met by very thoughtful response from the owner as well as a gesture for an amount off of my next purchase. I found that to be very respectable and given that there's nothing but good reviews and my lousy timing I decided to give it a go again. I even went back to the same shop that I got my first pie from And I have Extremely pleased that I did so. I can't yet say that I have a new favorite but I will say at this point I will be back as everything about your establishment from the way you handled a disappointed First time, pizza loving, customer On through follow up order which I have to say was fantastic. “Wow! Simply WOW!!!! The whole experience was outstanding. The Famous shrimp cocktail was a great start. The Royal Filet was cooked to perfection and our waitress Taryn accommodated my request to have it wrapped in bacon. The baked potato had all the fixings and cooked just right. The old fashioned was top notch. The limoncello shots were great. Everything was what I thought it would be. Taryn,our waitress, was nothing short of amazing. Taryn was funny, on top of it and an overall great person. I would recommend this place to anyone. Taryn completed the dinner and made my week.“

“The food was so good! I love the environment and the chairs were super comfortable. My only issue would be they are not very attentive with the community table, but despite that I don’t mind a little wait for some hot fresh breakfast and with Christmas right around the corner I’d expect a little wait. The potatoes were very tasty along with the egg sandwich. I for sure plan on going back to try more. The menu has so many unique things on it including the ricotta pancakes. The lady who sold the shirt and beanie was nice!“

I recently rented out the banquet room for a special event, it’s a no brainer I practically live there! This experience exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Special shout out to Carla who intuitively graced all of my needs said and unsaid. This woman deserves a raise. The bakery went above and beyond providing the perfect most detailed and delectable cake! Another shout out to Tammy who helped me coordinate it all, she made this process so easy and smooth.

“I was there today for a luncheon with my widows group. I ordered the 4 pc mixed chicken with jojo’s and salad bar. Everything was good and our server, Christine, was awesome. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce to go for my home bound husband. I was disappointed that it did not come with bread nor salad. I didn’t have much time to check the prices but was a little shocked when my total bill was $31.70. Since you do not offer an item receipt, I have no way of checking the individual pricing. I will definitely check the menu more closely next time.“
