“WOW - the food is wow and the service is wow. I'll start with the Staff as, they deserve it - Ashley was our server and she was above fantastic. Honestly, the entire staff, every single person we met that worked there was so incredibly polite - and I don't mean 'trained to be scripted to the restaurants script' polite, I mean, genuinely kind and personable. It was my first time at this restaurant and I honestly felt like I had been there a million times, that's how inviting the vibes are here. Now - on to the food. I had the herb baked chicken and merciful heavens, it was FANTASTIC (sides I sampled that I loved were the fried green tomatoes and their house potatoes). I would feel comfortable in a fancy dress or jeans & my favorite sweatshirt here - it's just, it's homey and makes you feel so welcome. If you're looking for a great dinner with friends or family - I highly recommend this lovely Cleveland restaurant. Super honorable mention to the CHAIRS...I literally googled a photo of one and am replacing our kitchen island chairs with them, yep that comfy.“

“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! I will definitely try it again with hopes that it was a mistake on the management part. My hopes…“

“Today I got the Chicken Stuffed Potato with Extra Veggies and it was so good. I usually get the Steak and Shrimp Stuffed Potato which is also good but the last couple of times there has been too much gristle in the steak. I don't know who is cooking in the kitchen this afternoon but if they read this review I would like to say awesome job please keep up the good work!!! Love was definitely put into this stuffed potato and we need more cooks out there that cook with love because since the pandemic good food has been hard to get.“

“Today was my first time here, got take-out.Ordered the mixed chicken & beef shwarma platter and a side of falafal. The person who took my order was super nice & chatted with me while they were getting my food ready.The food was super good. The platter came with hummus, rice, & a little salad - very good meat too. 2 people ate & we had a bit leftover, I'd say it was worth the price (about $25 total). I will definitely go back.“

“Located in an Urban neighborhood. The exterior and interior could uses some cosmetic work. No parking lot must park on street.
However, the food and the service was ?. We received our food within 10 minutes hot fresh and ready to eat.
I've lived in this neighborhood for 38 years and have driven by this location daily. So on August 27, 2024 I decided to finally stop in. I'm sooo glad I did..?

“My girlfriend and I went there last Wednesday afternoon and had a delicious meal. The food was my first cajun boil. The meal was just what I wanted and the service was super. Before we left the owner brought us two drinks to try. The drinks had great flavor with the taste of mango, coconut and blue curaco. I highly recommend the entire experiance!“

“Went here for a causal dinner tonight and was very happy. I had the massaman curry with tofu, medium spicy, and the flavors were great. Service was fast and the food was served piping hot. I also liked that the tofu was in smaller chunks and didn’t taste oily or greasy. It came with the perfect portion of rice, and we ate in the bar next door. “The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. I highly recommend this establishment for the excellent 'home cooked' soul food and customer service. You will not be disappointed. Also try the to go menu next door.“

Could have been cooked with garlic and butter . The catfish was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! They do it the southern style with cornmeal. I asked for the less sodium option. Bone in so you know it was real and fresh. I was able to get goat meat, porgy and salmon here too. Wait the $10 bag of abt 20 pieces of chicken quarters 🫡🫡🫡 . Everyone is super sweet and helpful. “I usually come for drinks. They use fresh fruit and ingredients, you can see them crush fruit for certain drinks. Reasonable wait times and the staff is always nice. Every time I've come for food it's been very good too.

Parking: They have their own lot with plenty of spaces but at peak times the lot can get full.“

“I ordered a $12 corn beef I asked for the bread to be toasted. She tried to charge me more because she said that's a ruben just for you to toast the bread OK. I went inside I ordered a fry it was a handful of fries for $3. Tell me why I get to my car to eat my sandwich and my sandwich is cold. The cheese was not melted and the meat was room temp.And they were rude. I am never going back.“

“I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? “Let me tell you! I had a taste for seafood. I researched, googled, Facebooked and Shark's kept coming up online and thru suggestions. Drove over during rush hour. My car smelled so good! Had a walleye sammich and shrimp! The fish, fries, the shrimp... OMG everything was good even the cole slaw. I called ahead and order was ready on time. Even gave me extra lemons like i asked. Decent price. Very clean establishment. Parking is right out front. I was in and out in minutes! Very pleased all way around😋“

“this was my first time coming in here and I was surprised at how spacious the place was and I love that when I walked in people were on the stage tearing it up. It's great that they have an patio area for the ones who need a smoke break. I did not know that they had food, I don't think I smelled any when I walked in. The dj did a decent job with the music, he played music to match his crowd. The old people got their music and the young people got their music. I feel like I will come back!“
