“This is one of my new favorites in the Cleveland Area of the only place I visited in a long time that gives you 2 Nice Sized Pieces of Catfish, 4 hush puppies, Coleslaw and FRESH CUT edible FRIES all for one price. I have been here 5 times and they have am Amazing Chicken Philly Sandwich these both items are seasoned to perfection and not to salty like most places you can barely tolerate the heavy seasonings from something who has to watch their salt intake. Jumbo Chicken Rolls are a most have my family love those as well! Most places I have to toss my food. Customer Service is always friendly and patient staff is always with a good attitude fast service and clean location. Compliments to the chef staff and the great owner!!! Glad this business exists.“

I ordered the 6-piece wing dinner with a side of spaghetti and greens, plus a Polish Boy with fries, BBQ sauce, and coleslaw on top. The wings were fried to perfection — crispy and seasoned well. The spaghetti tasted fresh with a nice pasta sauce, and the greens had a good mix of flavors, definitely homemade. The Polish Boy was solid too, just could’ve used a bit more coleslaw to balance everything out.

Customer service is a work in progress, but to be fair, it looks like it’s just one guy handling everything. Respect to him for holding it down. I’ll definitely be back to try more.“

However, the food and the service was ?. We received our food within 10 minutes hot fresh and ready to eat.

“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! I will definitely try it again with hopes that it was a mistake on the management part. My hopes…“

“While visiting Cleveland we really wanted good seafood and this place was exactly what we were looking for! Loved the atmosphere and the crab was cooked perfectly. “I ordered from Uber eats so I cannot comment on the service or the atmosphere but it made me rate them also or I couldn't review the food, that being said I really can't understand these bad reviews that are complaining about portion sizes or price!! Compared to other similar places their prices are very low and portion sizes very fair! Even after Uber adds their crazy high fees.Also I am extremely impressed at how fast my order was made.... at first I was worried that it ewouldn't be fresh or hot because it was done so quickly but that was not the case! My dinner was AMAZING! I got the shrimp dinner, added 3 scampi with baked potato and mac ND cheese. Best Mac ever. Shrimp and scampi s were large size seasoned and cooked perfectly. The baked potato was a little bit undercooked but everything else was soooo good that I can overlook that. My only actual complaint is the cocktail shrimp sauce was pretty bad but I doctored it up at home with some lemon and horseradish. To say I am impressed is an understatement and I cannot wait to go back and try everything else they have.... next time I'll save the Uber fees and go get it myself tho. She was excellent and very attentive while also respecting our privacy. “Our first time at Bubbakoo's - we chose the Broadview Heights locaiton - was stellar from start to finish. We weren't familiar with the menu at all and the person putting our bowls together was really helpful and even suggested pairings and offered to let us take as many sauces home on the side so we could try different ones and see which we liked best. Everyone on staff that day was kind and welcoming and gave us exactly what we asked for.

We went to the South Euclid location a couple weeks later because we wanted to try some different stuff and the experience was exactly the opposite. Very cold, not friendly, not very welcoming, a lot of sighing when we asked questions, and they wanted to upcharge for every sauce we wanted on the side.

We won't be back to the South Euclid location, but we'll definitely return to Broadview Heights so long as the vibe remains as good as it was on our first visit.“

“I went extremely pregnant and I was helped immensely. Of course my baby wanted the catfish dinner. I am glad they had a side that was veggie (green peas) but it was super bland. Could have been cooked with garlic and butter . The catfish was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! They do it the southern style with cornmeal. I asked for the less sodium option. Bone in so you know it was real and fresh. I was able to get goat meat, porgy and salmon here too. Wait the $10 bag of abt 20 pieces of chicken quarters 🫡🫡🫡 . Everyone is super sweet and helpful. Location it’s a bit out there but well worth the trip!“

Fish dinner, wings/fries and turkey polish boy with fries/ coleslaw amazing and was so good. I give you your flowers l stay in Cuyahoga Falls l definitely will make a trip and be back and spread the word. Your food is superb. “The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. “Went on Sunday with my mom and husband and Adam was our server. We were immediately seated. Adam was quick and very attentive. We ordered Prime Rib, Delmonico and burger. I ordered the half chicken to go and mushrooms as an appetizer. Everything was delicious and for the price you can't beat it. The restaurant was clean and nice on the inside and what made the visit awesome was over the server. Adam as wonderful and kept our drinks full at times. You get the value for the meals provided. It's so nice to have an establishment like this as they are long gone. I also loved the fact that we all ordered salad and we got a family style serving where we served ourselves from the salad bowl.
