“We were excited to see a long, John Silvers. They closed in our area. I had the grilled salmon in the grilled shrimp and it was very good. The salmon was very juicy. My husband had the fish platter. He enjoyed it very much. The restaurant was clean. The staff was nice.“

“My boyfriend and I ordered online pick up and he went to get it in store but ended up getting super dizzy and passed out onto the floor. The staff was super concerned and made sure he was okay and gave him water and some ice while he came to. They even went out of their way to make sure he was telling the truth about me driving us home to make sure he got home alright. I didn’t get their names but I am really grateful for their act of kindness. This never happened to him before and he was super embarrassed but I’m glad there’s still good people out there to genuinely cares for their customers.“

“Spats is my kinda place. The first time I visited Spats, I saw a neon beer sign in the window and figured I’d grab a beer while I was waiting for my gf to finish her shopping. I was instantly met with the dive-bar/hole in the wall vibe. Spats did not disappoint! If that’s not what you’re looking for, you might try the dining area instead of the bar area, which has at least 10 TVs, so I assume it’s also a nice sports bar.

So I told my gf that we should come back sometime when we want to hang out. We did! There aren’t many vegetarian options, but you can get typical bar food, plus an extensive lunch/dinner menu. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were delicious! I see why some ppl don’t like the fries, but they were perfect for me. They were not greasy or cooked in recycled oil like some idiots claimed in their reviews. But yes, they’re typical of real potato fries: soft and limp, just the way I like them. But they were also a little bland. Nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. I also had the fried shrimp, which was fine. Cole slaw was OK. My gf liked her chicken salad. Portions are HUGE. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I’m giving it 5 stars to offset the idiots who gave it one. But overall, it’s probably 4.5 stars.“

“The food was hot and tasty. My husband tried to place another order to go, he stood at the counter trying to order, but no one came over. They seemed pretty busy with the drive-thru so we left. They expect you to order in store online. That is not good for us because we are not used to using those kinds of machines.“

“Got a sub box for Father’s Day and was very impressed. The tunafish sub was actually packed with tuna, unlike a lot of other sub places. Very impressed with the selection and how everything was put together. Would highly recommend and will be doing so again myself.!“

“I come to this subway decently often on weeknights because I enjoy the food, but what sets this subway apart is the service, I have had nothing but good experiences with everyone at this subway, and it is incredibly clean. Everyone here is extremely polite but one worker that always goes above and beyond is Aiden. He is always polite, quick, and he makes great tasting subs.“

“While I waited for tires, I stopped in for breakfast one morning and ordered a sandwich and coffee. The dining room was very clean and cool. Even the work environment was clean. No fries or built up grease by the fryers. The floor was swept. All the employees seemed engaged and staying busy. The drive thru moved at a pretty steady pace and the customers that got pulled to the 3rd window didn’t have to wait long. Unfortunately, myself and a few other customers in the dining room had to wait quite a while (about 15-20 minutes) for our orders. Overall, you can’t rush perfection.“

“I have been coming to this Dairy Queen since I was three and it's been a staple in Mentor on the lake and I just have to say they have been fantastic and the manager just did the kindest thing and I'm not going to explain why but she was awesome and I want everybody to know that they need to go there they're Putt-Putt courses awesome their ice cream is awesome their hot dogs and their pretzel sticks are awesome and the manager is so sweet you guys all need to go there and support this local establishment!“
