“A small, cozy spot for sushi. We ordered the two-person set, and the portion was just right. The downside is there’s no water provided, so you’re forced to purchase drinks. The sushi rice was a bit hard not that good. That said, it’s a convenient place for a casual chat and a relaxed meal.“

They offer a great variety, from classic rolls to more creative options, and everything is packaged cleanly and ready to go. The staff is quick and efficient, making it easy to grab something fast without sacrificing quality.

Their new Udon option is very tasty with lots of flavours, it was made extremely quickly and super fresh.

For a mall food court, the quality is surprisingly impressive. It’s the perfect go-to spot for sushi lovers on the move. Highly recommend!“

“As a long-time sushi lover, I recommend this place. The fish and ingredients are fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every bite. The sushi was flavorful and well-balanced, with each roll and nigiri made with care. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

They also have table seating, which is great if you prefer a sit-down meal setting. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. One of the most fun surprises was the selection of unique Asian pops and ice creams for dessert—definitely not something you see everywhere.

Appetizers full of omami flavour; sashimi tasted very fresh and well prepared - favourite piece for me would be the Madai; sushi very well prepared - rice flavour well balanced, each pieces is paired with its unique sauce and spice. Hard to pick one as I loved all of them. I will 100% revisit this restaurant for maybe dinner next time. Absolutely delicious and great service. Chef is also very friendly!“

“We were craving sushi, and found this little place. We ordered Takoyaki, dynamite roll sushi, and chicken karaage. The takoyaki is a bit salty, maybe because it has too much sauce, but the Chicken Karaage and dynamite sushi was really good! Overall, I would highly recommend this place! “Rented an XL room, it was really clean, and comfortable. There was AC, a huge screenlights and YouTube karaoke available. You can order food right to the food too which is really nice

“Visited here yesterday for dinner. We ate until our hearts were content 😃 We tried several rolls and they were all great...the deep fried ones are good too. Tired the chicken skewers, salmon teriyaki, tempura, beef ribs all tasty. Tried the 3 different cakes and other sweets all lovely. Buffet was $38 a person. The bubble tea was extra but the guy took that off our order since we didn't know. Overall service was quick, food was fresh and all tasted great.“

“This is that small business food spot in your neighbourhood that you hope stays open forever. No matter how many fancy sushi restaurants I try I always love sushi take out from Lan and feel at home stepping into the establishment. The freshness of the food is fantastic and the perfect temperature. The family who runs this place are absolutely incredible people who always put a smile on my face when I see them.

Highly recommend the lobster roll and Alaska roll.“

“Awesome place. I haven't had celiac friendly sushi for a very long time. I am very sensitive and get really sick if I eat any gluten or even something cross-contaminated. Tomo Japanese Restaurant was a great experience in terms of food, service, atmosphere, and above all safety for me and my son. Fast takeout with easy ordering and a well written menu with good photographs of the item. The fish is the perfect temperature and the rice is flavorful. The presentation dining in is beautiful and the take out also looks good and sapporo sushi always provides a fair serving of soya, ginger, and wasabi.“

“It was our first time visiting this place, and my friend and I picked it completely by chance. We looked at the reviews, saw a 4.5 rating, and thought, okay, that sounds great. Even though it was late at night around 9:30 PM, the server was extremely kind and welcoming, and even let us sit on the patio.

Our food came very quickly, and the most impressive part of this restaurant was how genuinely nice and friendly the staff were. A lovely young lady named Kiin was incredibly sweet, polite, and patient. She kept checking on us with such kindness. Another young server, a guy, was just as amazing, and they both made our experience a hundred times better.

It was a rainy evening, but thanks to them we had such a wonderful time. Our sushi came fast, was very fresh, and tasted excellent. Everything was just perfect. I even asked for the young lady’s name so I could mention her here, because she truly made our night special.

Without a doubt, I’ll be going back many, many times, and I highly recommend this place if you want a great experience, if you’re craving sushi, or if you just need something to brighten up your mood. Everything was so good that if I could give 6 stars instead of 5, I absolutely would“

Food was prepared quickly but a little bit rough around the edges, however the most important part was the fresh fish.Went for lunch and ordered the Big Otoro roll and the daily special. Dined in and no one else was there on a Monday lunch which is expected. Place was clean and stocked with lots of take out ingredients.Don't think I need to come back here, yes it's fresh but being a downtown body, Kitaya ( l beside C&C near the science center) is a better option and taste equally as fresh. Plus they have great hojicha ice cream there.“
