“First time visiting this cute ice cream shop. I had come in to get a taste of their strawberry ice cream: there’s something about using real Ontario-grown strawberries in ice cream that appeals to me.

It blew me away and I returned 10 minutes later to ask for a coveted take-home pint…but was so sad to hear that none were available. The gentleman who served me both times is the sweetest and ended up scoping one last pint of the strawberry ice cream, which sat alone in the freezer. It was my lucky day and I nabbed that pint!

If you want tasty, handmade ice cream made with real ingredients served by wonderful people, this place is the place to be! I will be returning to try their other flavors :)“

As part of the Yelp Experience, I received a complimentary cookie of my choice (I picked the Chocolate Chip) in addition to two kiddie scoops of ice cream: Strawberry Matcha Coconut and Coffee. Both flavours were light, refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day. The Chocolate Chip cookie was soft and packed with generous chunks of chocolate in every bite.

It was lovely to discover a hidden gem in the Ossington neighbourhood. I'll definitely be back to try more flavours outside of the Yelp Experience.“

I met your employee, Sepideh, at the mall shop. She is an attractive lady, and I found her to be very pleasant as well. I do have a “sweet tooth” and a particular fondness for vanilla ice cream. As I recall, there is an ice cream shop adjacent to or near the entrance where there is a Starbucks; however, I would go to the little booth where Sepideh worked instead because it felt more personal, and she would always give healthy tips while serving.

Although I like ice cream, I don’t want to feel like I’m just another number in the queue. Sepideh makes her customers feel appreciated, and that’s what I liked about her service.

I have been a businessman for most of my life and have employed hundreds of people, so I may be a bit biased in recognizing the value of her service from an employer’s perspective.

“I first went to the Village Chill when I was four years old. Despite the dozens of ice cream shops which have opened up in the Cedarvale-Forest Hill areas, I keep coming back here. Each of their flavours are personal and unique. This is not your average ice cream experience. It is a tiny shop with a big heart.“

Tesco is an upscale Phillipino Cafe and serves top quality hit and cold beverages as well as sandwiches and crepes and other goodies . I assumed the man behind the counter was the owner, unlike most employees who work the counter in Eateries, Drew appears invested, in my experience there, he is friendly, clean and knowledgeable, always willing to help o customer out, with directions or bus schedules. Always an enjoyable experience. And the price? Not overly cheap. But for high quality food, exllent service , great location, and relaxation, I'm willing to pay a few dollars more. Not always but in this case that old saying holds true. You get what you pay for. So try it out this weekend

“We went here after eating some Authentic Italian Pizza next door at Pala 148 and wanted to keep the Italy vibe going so we stopped into Gemma Gelateria and tried their dairy free dark chocolate Gelato and it was soooo good and really chocolatey! It's tasted just like melted dark chocolate! The price was reasonable and the staff were very welcoming. It's a little shop with limited seating but in the nice weather there are lots of places to sit in the area.“
