From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, with friendly staff that made me feel right at home. The pizza itself was phenomenal — perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The portions were generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. “Visiting after a long day of travel, I wanted something nice but I also wanted something familiar. My companion and I came here. They specialize in plant based seafood alternatives, but I went with the chicken sandwich, which was made with tofu and breaded. We had a vegan, organic, Spanish wine (half price Wednesday). Brought out to us in lots of single-use packaging anyway, which was really frustrating. Buffalo wrap was tasty but could use more sauce, carrot cake was very nice and had a good strong gingerbread flavor.“

I asked about the soup of the day and was promptly offered a taste by the friendly chef. Had the medium soup as well--a delicious rich soup with yams and coconut milk. This time John was our greeter, server and made our experience worthwhile. It was a 3 course menu and options were delicious The chef can be seen prepping meals [live action kitchen] which adds a lil character also. Note that it's a small kinda intimate restaurant with 7 tables and bar seating; possibly 4 people. I'm only rating 4 star because of my initial unfavorable experience“

A cortado was delivered 15 minutes after it was ordered and had sat on the counter before being served (after we had to remind the waiter), based on its temperature. “Ital Vital is an absolute must! I had them cater for an event and am beyond happy with how it went! The food was so amazing! We had so many delicious options and everyone loved it. The plant-based bbq spare rib was a crowd favourite! The chef and owner, Arnold, is so kind and generous. The customer service experience was incredible. It was such a pleasure having Ital Vital cater to us and I can’t wait to call them back soon!“

“First time ordering from The Hogtown vegan We ordered Southern Combo ( Chick'n was basic but the BBQ sauce fixed that. The collard green side is a great addition and Mac & cheese was delicious) Quesadilla with chipotle dip ( mostly black beans not much veggies. Still good and filling) Chili cheez fries good portion I just needed extra heat so I added tobacco to make it spicy ) Over all the food was good and portions were great. Will definitely go back and try the rest of the menu“

“Service - Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Server paid attention to the guests and provided immaculate service.

Restaurant - Great location and great vibes. It’s a high end restaurant and the ambiance is apt.

Food - They are known for their St. burger which is what my friend tried and said it was pretty good. I had the chicken and it was good too. Something on the plate was a bit salty but overall it was a unique take on a chicken dish and tasted good.

Price - it’s a pricey restaurant but I did not find the food to be worth the price. I paid for an iced tea and the chicken, and my bill was $57. However, the great thing about the restaurant is that you don’t have to tip on top of your total bill. Tip is already included in the meal price so in that sense, I guess it’s a good thing.

“We live in New Jersey but we have been to Jamaica 30 times or more. I love Jamaican food. This food was as good or better than any food I’ve eaten in Jamaica. There were 8 of us. Between us we had oxtail red bean soup, curry goat, jerk chicken, fried okra, fried plantains, jerk fries with aioli sauce, chicken curry, slow baked jerk wings and 4 of the deserts. Everything was seasoned well. The spice levels were perfect. Savory and delicious. The reception and service were welcoming and enthusiastic. The ambiance felt truly Jamaican. “A very cozy spot where you can find unconventional offerings. I’m talking about the impressive list of meats which are injected into classic dishes. I’m a huge fan of local seasonal and wild foods and this is one of the only spots in the city that executes flawlessly on them, doing the ingredients a real justice.

Aside from the elk, venison, bison, and foraged mushrooms, I think these guys nail their duck dishes perfectly. Pairing it with the foie gras is just bliss.

“This has been a go to special occasion meal for me for years. I can’t say I’ve ever had one disappointing dish. Everything sings with flavour - bright acidity, rich fat, balanced sweetness. Just A+ to the kitchen! This time we enjoyed oysters, a crudo I can’t recall the name of, beef tartare, and the chicken. The raw dishes here are some of my favourites and I have to say the tartare was my favourite I’ve ever had. Not the typical flavour profile instead a mix of acidic dressing and possibly beef fat mayo? Soooo good. The chicken is not something I’d typically order but it was recommended on their Insta and did not disappoint. Perfectly tender, shatteringly crispy skin, umami sauce, and the best sweet creamed corn I’ve ever had. Shout of to the gai lan as well. So good.

The service is always a big part of the experience here. We felt so looked after and I was even surprised with a scoop of apple sorbet with a candle since we didn’t order dessert (it was my bday). Just above and beyond and left feeling like I was walking on a cloud. 😌“
