Jerk chicken and Oxtail stew are amazing, with good ingredients, Both jerk chicken and oxtail on rice are very tasty.

beef patties we bought regular and non spicy. both are good, heat up 375F in oven around 20 mins. turn out like fresh made.

Happy I went ,it was my First time here and when I walk in I knew the food would be good from the smell and looks, the place was in a corner of a gas station but don't get scared by this ,it was a great conversation piece (lol).
What was even more pleasing was I felt welcome by Kathy & Cedric such wonderful people had a great conversation with them makes ,feels like family time (lol) .this makes you want to return and keep supporting small businesses for sure. I definitely enjoyed my Veg. Roti and my husband loved his curry goat roti.
Can't wait to come back and try some more amazing food from *KC*.

“Our oldest daughter loves their Ox Tail with their baked Mac & Cheese. She eats it every time we or she herself, goes there. I love their Rice & Peas served with Curried Goat or Curried Chicken or a meal of Ox Tail. I became allergic to milk , slightly, so I always go with their Rice & Peas which all meals. Their jerk chicken on rice and beans was delicious! Large chunks of tender chicken pieces. The rice was not dry, in fact the gravy from the chicken and beans almost gave it a nice creamy/moist texture that complimented the dish along with the slaw.
Their portions are huge and the price is very affordable for what you get. I ordered their large and couldn't finish it.

“If you haven't tried Guyanese style Chinese food, make your way over to Starlite Family Restaurant at Midland and Ellesmere in Scarborough. They've been around since 2013, offering delicious food with generous portions.

I went there recently with friends and we really enjoyed everything. Here's what we had:
• Starlite Chow Mein
• Starlite Vegetables with Beef
• Starlite General Tao Chicken
• Jerk Chicken
• Starlite Spicy Shrimp
• Deep Fried Chicken
• Stir-Fry Duck
• Curry Chicken

It was all delicious! My personal favourite, however, was the duck. I love duck! Other faves include Starlite Vegetables with Beef and Starlite General Tao Chicken. Besides the duck, everything else is Halal.

I also had a very potent rum punch that was a bit too strong for my companions. It was definitely bold but good!

The restaurant was spacious and the service was really good, with dishes coming out fast, and plates being cleared quickly. Drop in to try their food, or visit one of their sister restaurants, Caribbean Cabana (Markham), Hibiscus (Ajax), and Galaxy Event Space (Pickering).
