“Hidden gem in Scarborough, no doubles place in the area can compare!! I tried them out yesterday. The normal place I would sometimes get doubles from was closed on Mondays, And of course I seen reggae artist Shenseea on tic toc eating a double in Trinidad, so my big back needed doubles and authentic ones. Anyways I googled and found Amira's about 4 mins away, so I called placed my order and headed over!! When I arrived this food was not ready (did not expect it to be) but when it was OMG the freshest, savory, warmest doubles I have had!! Service amazing... I probably wont make it to Trinidad like Shenseea but this Amira's is where I will forever go now!!“

“It's been a long time since I've been to Tropical Nights. They have the best rooftop patio in Scarborough, and beyond! Their menu offers great tasting Guyanese style Caribbean and Chinese food with generous portions. Today, I had Curry Goat with rice and dhal and my friend had Singapore Noodles with Chicken and Shrimp. Delicious!“

“Stacey's has excellent value - great food at reasonable prices. The viral oxtail patty was absolutely delicious (although a bit on the greasy side, the bottom of the container was swimming in fat). There are some small bones in the oxtail so be careful when eating. I would definitely come back for more oxtail dishes!

We also tried the curry chicken roti, which had tons of chicken and not very many potatoes (compared to other roti places where the roti is almost 70% potato). The jerk chicken poutine was also good; fries were decent and the jerk chicken was very flavourful.

You should expect a line during the lunch rush on weekdays (from 12-1) so plan around that if you're in a rush. We visited during the busy lunch hour and had to wait over half an hour for our food.

It's mostly a takeaway place though they do have two tables if you want to dine in.“

If you are in Scarborough, the East of Toronto, make sure to check out this take out restaurant. They are open 12-8 pm Mon-Fri, 8-8pm Sat.
