“The food is excellent. We took the meal for 2 including signature ramen and red spicy fire 🌶️ and the waitress replaced pork with chicken for me 💕which was exceptional for the price. The atmosphere is very cool and calm. Definitely try it out 💯“

“The good: overall food quality, flavour, appearance, quantity, service speed, staff friendliness. If you don’t want to speak to anyone, you can order from a kiosk. Looks new and is very clean inside.

Less good: no alcohol! Therefore no beer, sake, wine, etc. 😭 My partner was really craving a beer to accompany the ramen after a stressful day at work and it was almost a dealbreaker except we were starving and too tired to venture elsewhere. There was miscommunication (slight language barrier) about which appetizers we wanted, but eventually got it sorted out. The takoyaki was a bit too soft for our liking. While the barstool seating was comfortable enough, the countertop was kind of at an odd height that felt too high when seated and too low for standing (at least for me at 6’3”). Parking might be a challenge. We got lucky and snagged free on-street parking, but have no idea where else one could park. IKEA down the street?? 🤣

As other reviews note, this is a very small restaurant with only 5 seats for dining in, all of which are bar-style split between 3 seats along a wall and 2 at the window. We didn’t check reviews beyond the overall rating and missed this detail, but were lucky they had no other guests when we arrived for dinner on a rainy weekday.“

“It was a quiet afternoon and we really wanted something warming and found this cute Ramen shop. We chose two pork tonkosto dishes with different toppings. The thin sliced pork was very good but the stars of the meal were the bbq ribs. Definitely check this spot out when going to Chinatown“

“My only regret was not visiting earlier. The shoyu classic was incredibly good; the pork was very tender and the broth was smoky and hearty. Our waitress was very charming and friendly. Bit cramped with lunch crowd but was more focused on the good food. Highly recommend!“

“Fast service with ordering through QR code, which also lets you customize the salt, oil and noodles. I was full from a regular size bowl that came with rice on the side; usually a bowl of ramen from other places leaves me still hungry.

The broth is delicious and not too salty nor heavy.

“The Pork Gyoza was decent—nothing special but solid. The real star here is the ramen, which was simply delicious. I tried both the Beef Spicy Jalapeño Ramen and the Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen. The jalapeño ramen had a bold, spicy kick with plenty of jalapeño flavor, while the garlic ramen was outstanding—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. If you’re a ramen fan, this spot is definitely worth checking out!“

The broth was deep and savoury without being oily, the chashu perfectly charred, and the noodles had that ideal bite — not too soft, not too firm. Service was quick, portions generous, and the Sapporo draft rounded everything off perfectly. A reliable go-to for a comforting bowl of ramen in downtown Toronto.“

“whenever i feel like there's no hope in my life and everything is going wrong, i go here and get vegetarian orochong ramen with level 2 spice. it's very yummy, loaded up with lots of vegetables, and exactly the amount of spice i can handle. eating it is a visceral experience. sniffling, coughing, etc. fighting for my life. it takes my mind off of all that ails me. the best part is that despite how spicy it is, it miraculously doesn't cause me any stomach problems after. doesn't hurt on the way out. i suspect that may be because i need to drink multiple litres of water alongside the spicy broth though lol... dilutes the capsaisin and washes my worries away.“

“Delicious and fresh. Ordered the spicy beef. The noodles have a great texture and the broth itself is flavourful and does not feel too oily. In terms of spice, you can change the broth to suit your level of tolerance. After leaving the restaurant I did not feel full or have that heavy feeling with my stomach. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. The service was very good and all were friendly who came to the table.“

They have chicken and spam rice bowls too with halal options, it’s too bad they didn’t have it in stock when I was there. “Went to kinton at William Kitchen Road, had Beef Spicy absolutely rich in flavor.
They were busy yet managed to have good customer service.
Pearl was the Manager who spoke with us, she was friendly and even explained us about the food. She also recommended us the food.

“Let me start off by saying I’m not the biggest ramen fan. But we were at union station and it just looked good. I got the black miso ramen. I’m almost mad about how good it was as I have no plans of going back to Toronto. It was very flavorful. The mushrooms were cooked amazing and very tasty. The pork skin was perfect and I loved the broth. It was served quick I just wished there was a place to sit and eat as it’s a food hall it was extremely busy and all I could find was a stand up table. But the food itself is well worth it and I would not hesitate to have it again“

Was upsold the consommé but my friend had the paitan and it was better than the consommé.
There is a little bit of biased since I am more of a creamy Hakata ramen kind of person. Nevertheless, the taste is good and overall was a decent experience.

“I tried Midori Ramen and went for their Signature Tori Paitan. The broth was really flavorful and super rich — definitely on the thicker side and very filling, I was full for hours. For appetizers we ordered the tako wasabi, which was really interesting and unlike anything I’ve had before, and the chicken karaage, which was basically juicy, crispy fried chicken and really tasty. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for hearty ramen and some fun appetizers.“

Tofu : Amazing even with the chili oil, not very spicy at all. Was great.

Dragon Ramen : The flavor is amazing. Noodles are super fresh. Spice they say is a 4/5. If you can tolerate spice its more of a 2-3/5.

Daughter enjoyed the Miso Ramen.
