“Went to stay at Liushou Hotpot last week and the overall experience was great, especially our waiter Yunni, her service was really impeccable! She greeted us warmly from the moment we walked in, patiently introduced us to the menu, and recommended several super delicious dishes. During the whole process, she always paid attention to our needs, promptly added pot bases, changed plates, and even carefully reminded us of the best cooking time for the ingredients. The service attitude is super good, always smiling, making people feel particularly warm and considerate.
This kind of service greatly enhances our entire dining experience! I highly recommend everyone to give it a try, and I hope to meet Yunni next time. She is really a highlight of the hotpot!“

“I like the signature board very much! The beef in the noodles is spicy and delicious. The bean skin in the noodles is also soft and tasty. 💕btw The seafood noodles are spicy but very fragrant. You can order slightly spicy for the first time.“

“Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Canada. There's always a fresh catch of the day of delicious seafood 🤤 Honestly, I've been to hundreds if not thousands of restaurants and there isn't a single item off the menu that me and my guests have not enjoyed. Anna is super hospitality and treat us like family 💗 Highly recommend if you haven't given it a try already“

“Haven't had hot pot out of home for a very long time.
Love how it's not all you can eat. So. Tried it.
Fresh ingredients. Good service. Definetly a good meal and I think the bill comes out lower than all you can eat.
Likely looking to return again soon.
Recommended for both large and small group.“

“Great place with lots of room between tables which is very unusual in dim sum restaurants.
SML $5.5 dim sum if order before 2:30pm
As it is part of the chain, membership is honored here too for dim sum size beyond L.
Parking lot is tight so be aware of dropping off youngster and seniors first“

“It’s a cute cozy restaurant located in Time Square. I personally liked this place which is a hidden gem among all other restaurants surrounding it. I was surprised coming in & see the award because it look quite modest outside. They have quite a wide variety (Chinese food to Korean cold noodle) to choose from and i loved all the food ordered that day. Fried pork belly served with pancake is to die for. Pricing is reasonable.
Bonus point is the server is very cute 🥰 all of staff members are polite and converse well in English.“

“The Hakka restaurants on Richmond Hill are all fast closing down or gone so it was a surprise to find this one still functioning. It’s only take out now and it is run by an old charming Chinese couple so there is a wait time. But the food is tasty and authentic and not too bad on your wallet. So cheers and hope this one stays for some time. I ordered Cantonese Chow mein, Ginger Beef and Sweet corn chicken soup. The beef and the soup are delicious 🎶🎶“

“I am from out of town where there isn’t any authentic Chinese food. So Good was able to scratch my itch while I was here. I ordered the steamed fish, some choi and sweet and sour pork (a classic). The fish was very fresh and tasty. The Choi was a little oily but it was still good. I don’t think I’ve ever had bad sweet and sour pork so no complaints there. The staff was attentive but if you’re expecting western hospitality, this is not the place (although no authentic Chinese restaurant is)“

“The service is nice and the foods are tasty. I went at lunch time and ordered the lunch combo Steamed Fried Rice with Lobster. The Lobsters were very yummy and the fried rice with egg white was tasty, and it came with the day of soup that was also with good flavour. I will go back to try another lunch combo and dim sum.“

“If you want the taste of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant, I think this restaurant is worth recommending. Milk tea has its own unique tea aroma, unlike other restaurants that only have a sweet and milky taste. The beef satay is a diced dish, the satay sauce is flavorful, the meat is tender, and the noodles are just like most tea dishes. The noodles are like a diced dish with no leftover flavor.“

“Don’t know why some left 3 stars after commenting on the delicious foods. This is Chinese restaurant. Shouldn’t expect unnecessary service like other types of restaurants. They put their best efforts in the substance not in the lips service
Very good Chinese foods I haven’t been able to find in a long time. I have been here 3 times and each time the quality is just as good.
This is the kind of spicy wok fried Chinese foods I used to imagine but failed to find most places else“

“Visited half eleven on a Thursday and was served straight away by friendly and efficient staff. I had the sweet and sour chicken and opted for fried rice. The chicken was pretty good and the portion very filling. The meal also came with water/can of soda for $12. There are plenty of seats in the food court and the washroom facilities are close by.“

“The Big Trio is my go-to place for wonton noodle twice a week. Their beef tripe is also very tasty and tender. However the combinarion of wonton and tripe is the best. Add a bit of chilli oil...oh my.... my stomach thanks me for it. I think i am addicted to it. ;)“

“Tasty soups! I just wish their tea bags did not contain Stevia. Not only is it not good for your health, but it also leaves a gross taste in your mouth. Please take the Stevia out of your tea bags. We can add honey when we make it at home instead!“

“I love this place, the food is so good and spicy the staff is wonderful and it’s open late! However t they don’t have any meat slices or huge Ingredient selections. Also the ingredients don’t have any English names on it so it’s difficult to figure out what’s in what if you have any dietary restrictions. The place is also super clean but pretty tiny.“

“Great spot for traditional Hong Kong wonton noodle soup!
Signature Noodle (Wonton, Beef, & Fishball):
- egg noodles have great bite
- wontons are large, plump, and packed with shrimp
- beef slices are so tender!
- fish balls were enormous, just a little fishy
- chili oil absolutely slaps
For $16 (including tax/tip) it is a pretty decent portion. Everything is self-serve in disposable bowls and utensils.“

“Went there at noon and what I wanted to eat the most was the red bean ice that I heard was delicious, but it wasn’t available! The staff said that everything else tastes good to us. Let’s try their satay beef rice noodles. . I have never had beef satay that was so bad! Neither of them were appetizing. I also ordered a mustard and honey chicken steak (recommended by someone online), but it was just like a chicken chop with rice.
It’s been a year since I went here to eat again, and everything was so well done👍👍👍It’s really worth praising. The red bean ice is really delicious😋I went there for several weeks and found other things that are really worth eating👍👍👍“

The welcoming vibe of a true “cha chaan teng” makes this place special. Highly recommend! 🌟

“The restaurant is known for its spacious private rooms and excellent service, creating a favorable dining experience for guests. Our 10 people went there for lunch, we got a private room. The food is exquisite, with creative plating that makes each dish feel like a work of art. The flavors are also wonderfully fresh and delicious. The service is very attentive and considerate, with staff frequently changing plates and refilling tea. It’s a delightful experience.“

“MENU is attached.
Originated from China in 2011, there’s now 8 locations across the GTA. At this location, it’s 2 eateries in 1 location. Yang’s Braised Chicken Rice and Yunshang Rice Noodle.
You order by scanning the QR code on the table. We ordered directly with the waitress instead. They provided us with a glass of complimentary tea, chopsticks, spoon and a napkin.
We ordered the Braised Chicken (boneless) and Braised Beef with noodles. Both were delicious. You can change the level of chilli heat if you wish. We ordered no spicy. The Chicken comes with bone in or boneless. If you want more toppings or vegetables, you can pay extra.
If you are a frequent guest to this establishment, it’s best to pay an one time fee to become a VIP member. Ask them for more information.
The food in general came out at a decent time. It got crowded as we were leaving.
You pay by approaching the Cashier at the back of the restaurant and stating your table number. BTW, they only accept debit card and cash.
They do takeouts.
Parking: Lots of parking spaces but can get busy since it’s close to an after school program for kids.
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for kids to use.
Wheelchair accessibility: No push / no wave button to automatically open the double doors.“

“Overall simple to the point, Chinese takeout. Portion size was good in the all in one combo. Lots of noodles and chicken and vegetables. Noodles were a bit under seasoned and the chicken was mostly sweet but that’s kind of the experience I want/crave with simple Chinese takeout. I’ll be back.“
“Nowadays, Cantonese restaurants equipped with huge aquariums that are stocked with live seafood have become a common sight in the vibrant Richmond Hill/Markham Chinese culinary landscape. Nestled behind Richlane Mall, inside a secluded open-air strip plaza, atop of a small knoll, houses another such establishment. Tonight’s dinner gathering, organized by another family member, is a follow-up to last week’s going-away party. This time, the quality and caliber of food has been substantially elevated! For tonight, the meal will feature a Big Kahuna.....Live Alaskan Red King Crab prepared multiple ways! As for the wines?! Since IMHO, Riesling and Crab together are part of the Creator’s plan, a fine bottle of German off-dry masterpiece to pair with the star is a requisite. In addition to another bottle of elusive perfume and style 2014 Chateau Lafite, a reliable Zenato Amarone was also added to the mix for pairing with the meat dishes. Our party of eight went through the following courses with gusto and avidity: - 9 pounds Alaskan King Crab prepared 3 ways. - Steamed legs with caramelized minced garlic on a bed of rice vermicelli - Wok fried body with Maggi Sauce - Steamed egg custard Chawanmushi with crab brains - Whole Cantonese Roasted Duck, ‘ Pei-Pa Style ‘ - Stirred fry Chinese Cauliflower with wind dried preserved meats - Braised Tofu with mixed mushrooms and Chinese Greens - Fried Pork Spare ribs with Preserved Olive Tapenade Glaze - Stirred fry beef with Chinese Kale ( Gai-Lan ) Complimentary desserts of Red bean dessert soup, Cherry flavored jello and Almond Cookies. Overall, the lovingly prepared food coupled with the superb friendly service created a highly satisfactory dinner experience. Standard of the cooking IMO ranked amongst some of GTA’s best. During the past week, I had the good fortune to savor some extremely well executed Cantonese fare, first from StarChiva and now at Oriental Bistro. Indeed, I am grateful and blessed to live within such close proximity to some of GTA finest Chinese cuisine establishments.“

“Quite delicious. The boss carefully listens to customers' suggestions and provides seasonings and the like. You get what you pay for, and I ordered two dishes. The more expensive the food, the better it tastes. Recommend the lamb tripe, it is super tender, has no fishy smell and is very clean.“

“Had both dine in and takeout during dinner hours and the food was delicious! My most pleasant surprise was their included soup of the day, chicken and ginseng soup!
All the dishes are prepped with care and packed with "wok hay" consistently. If they can keep it up I'll keep ordering.
I give them 8.5/10!“

“Authentic and Yummy cart noodles! This is exactly the taste from my childhood memories. Curry fish balls are chewy. The broth tastes flavourful. The pork blood is exactly the same as what I ate in Hong Kong.
The staff at the restaurant are friendly and nice!
I will come again for sure!!!“

“Staff was surprisingly friendly! This restaurant is visibly newer (modern interior). Baked BBQ pork buns were quite good. So were the BBQ pork rice rolls.
We took the Cheese tarts for dessert: they were so delicious! They were the star of the meal. Definitely recommend.“

“This is a place with the best bang for the buck. You can get 2 lobster, half a steamed chicken, and 4 other dishes of your choosing for 85 dollars. It was enough to feed our table of 8. The food is cooked really well. Typical Cantonese food with great value. It seems like this is the place where time forgot to update the price.
The service is interesting to say the least. The servers are rude, inpatient and full of sass but we had a great time coming here. We were prompted before hand about the rudeness of this place and went in with those expectations. It’s hilarious the small server lady can dish out so much condescending words to her co workers and her patrons and still have people lining out the door. It became comedic to me and reminded me of stereotypical 1970 diners you see in movies.
Truly an awesome experience! Food is great for the price but sometimes in life, you have to be humbled to stay grounded. For 100 bucks, you can get a good meal for 8 people and a life lesson.“

“We had a group of 10. And we were lucky to get a bug table in the private rooms in the back. Our server was outstanding: very attentive, energetic and engaging. I can't give full stars because they don't have juice available for kids and we didn't feel the food value was there. We are generally happy with the food quality here.“

“What a shame to you low star reviewers. The food is excellent , tasty, savory and they have a steady following and repeaters. You need to know what you want. Don't like saucy than order dry, want fried rice or noodles instead of white? Than ask. I crave their food and so do so many other people. Always busy and always good. Worth the wait and worth the taste. The price is affordable and the food is delicious. Thank you Hakka 77 for the good eats.“

“Yan’s kitchen is really a hidden gem at Richmond Hill, their southern China cuisine offers an array of adorable and tasty feeling given the fact their standard is consistency that we had several tries; with the same scores. Equally important, their service is above the standard, their staff are prompt and attentive, including a lady Ms Fang, we had met her at another restaurant before she joined this dinning place, she always has a warm smile on her face and similar to other staff, equipped with sound culinary knowledge. Tonight, we rated full marks on their braised pork belly and their soup, worthy to include in our regular list of dining place at GTA even though this is a cosy restaurant.“

“Nice, spacious dining hall with lots of seats. The front desk lady is very nice and gives me positive vibes. Food was also decent but the service was so-so because many of the hall staff didn't speak English. I came for an early bird dim sum discount and I paid a bit over 60 dollars for 10 dishes. 5.50 for S, M, L dim sum. Tea is a bit expensive it was 2.50. But they didn't force tips on the customers, unlike many other Chinese restaurants which was nice, which was why I voluntarily tipped as I left the restaurant. Will definitely return for the early bird dim sum mainly because of that and also the discount.“

“Absolutely delightful experience! I recently dined at Bao and tried their Beijing Duck.
The preparation and presentation were impeccable. The duck was perfectly roasted with crispy skin and tender meat, bursting with flavor. The accompanying pancakes and sauces complemented the dish wonderfully. The service was attentive and the ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Beijing Duck!“
