It’s a family run restaurant, the chef father makes so delicious and juicy bagel&sandwich, the cookies baked by the son are also very impressive 😍😍😍 what is more impressive is the price, All Day Breakfast:a bagel with a coffee , only costs 5.99CAD, 6.77 after tax. Nowadays this price can only buy a cup of coffee in Toronto 😅😅 A bagel alone like that would cost at least 12 CAD!!!! When I firstly saw the ad saying All- Day Breakfast 5.99 on the wall, I thought that must be a scam😂😅 Buz similar meal like that in the campus food trucks are at least twice the price. Then one day I finally tried to walk in Papamio’s, it did cost that less and the boss even gave me a cookie for free as a new client 🤩🤩🤩“

“The Enzo was delicious (the combination of the mortadella combined with the pistachio pesto and hint of Stracciatella cheese was tasty)! I also got the Rogo Rogo as well.

However....I was sharing both sandwiches with my partner and as he opened the packaging for one of them he noticed a piece of hair in the sandwich.

**Update** - The owner reached out to me afterwards and asked me to contact him. He apologized for my experience (with finding the hair) and stated that he would take the necessary steps to make sure it didn't happen again. He actually went above and beyond and surprisingly gave me a refund for one of my sandwiches as well as a store credit. Despite the experience this time I'd happily return to Ariete e Toro for those delicious sandwiches (honestly one of the best I've had in the city!). Customer service has been great as well. Can't wait till their second location opens soon!“

“Tried Grandma Loves You recently and really enjoyed it. I had the meatball & cheese and the chef’s choice. Both were good, but the standout was definitely the chef’s choice. It was super flavourful and every bite hit, no matter where you bit into it.

The meatball was solid too, with a very generous portion. But because the meatballs are quite large, they tend to slide around a bit. Some bites made it a little hard to get a good mix of the meat and veg all together. Still really tasty overall, just something to keep in mind and maybe grab extra napkins.

Also grabbed a coffee. Nothing special, but it did the job, …..which is fair for a sandwich shop. Went on a Wednesday afternoon so it was pretty quiet, and the service was friendly. There’s limited seating, and they also had complimentary lemon water which was a nice touch.
