“Excellent quality sushi place, fresh and good portion. Good and fast service, small place with calm atmosphere, I would say the place is not for entertainment but if you want a good sushi in Stouffville this is the place. Try Crazy Kato. Highly recommend !“

“Visited Uxbridge just for a weekend. Stopped by just to grab a quick meal after a long day. Was impressed how quickly they served my order. Staff were incredibly friendly and food was top notch(I ordered sushi and rolls). I came back next day for a take away, because I craved more :)
Server brought me water with ice while I was waiting for my take away order. Which is nothing special but, reflects a good service especially on a hot day.
I wish there were MUKO sushi in my neighbourhood in Toronto :)“

“Small shop packed with amazing food and flavors! Glad I stumbled upon this place. Freshly made maki rolls. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. She may not eat raw fish but she was still very encouraging for us to try it. We got one of her favorite the spicy garlic tuna and it was my favorite! Can’t wait to visit again.“

“I came here for a work dinner, and I had the time of my life! The service was exceptional, the food was fresh, the atmosphere was everything, it was clean! All the food that I ate was delicious. I wish I got a picture, but obviously it was so good I couldn’t lol. I can’t wait to come back here again thank you so much, Masuda!“

“A little place in Langham Square if you crave Japanese food. It's mostly a takeout place with a little corner where you can squeeze in and sit to eat.
The food itself was good. The fish were fresh. Most pieces were common fish. The size of the dishes were not that big.
I ordered the salmon and ikura don while my friend ordered the chirashi don. Both were OK.
I would go back if nearby. But likely try other sushi places first where it's dine in.“

“Really great anime-themed cafe/restaurant, hidden gem with amazing torched sushi! Very limited seating FYI but great for takeout or later in the evening - rivals other known torched sushi spots on quality at a better price point. Would be super popular if located in the heart of downtown Toronto“

“Taste and appearance is good. It’s a little chintzy on toppings. Seriously how much more does it cost to level up the bowl with more rice? Also add in let’s say 3 or 4 more cucumbers. It’s not a cheap bowl. I wouldn’t return because of this.“

“I have been coming to this place for almost 5 years now. Love their miso ramen. It’s really tasty! Their takeout packing is very sturdy and good as well.
I noticed within last year that the quality of the noodles have degraded, I feel that they refrigerate their noodles and they are not made on the they of, doesn’t look and taste fresh. You can actually see the noodles being bunched up and frozen.
Overall I like the taste of their ramen soup.“

“Beautiful (huge) space. We went at lunch time so it was pretty empty. But at night i can see it being filled up.
Food was delicious with a good variety, and lots of lunch specials. The red dragon rolls had a bit too much sweet sauce (would’ve been nice to have it on the side). But otherwise I’m happy with everything we ordered: miso soup, sushi, chicken and pork belly skewers, Brussels sprouts. All very flavourful.
Service was good. Not much more to say.“

“A family fave. When we say 'Let's do Osaka', we know it's gonna be an excellent dinner or 'lunch date' w my husband. Staff is top notch - friendly, fast on their feet and always remember their regulars. Sushi and maki are fresh and delicious, every single time. Soup choices are yum. Booths are cozy and private. What more do you want from a good sushi joint? We love our Osaka!“

“Come to me for Japanese food.
Indeed, Kome Shokudo is the local spot for your affordable Japanese comfort food. We revisited for the first time in several years and were still impressed by the food portions and menu offerings. The flavours are nothing to write home about but for about $15 or less you can get a giant bowl of teriyaki beef on rice (gyudon), various udon, tempura or pork/chicken katsu curry. Only the shrimp curry with rice is a bit skimpy in the number of shrimps for the large option.
It’s neat that the quick-serve comes to your table via a robot server. You can fill up on fresh water at the drink station. The only downside is the decor which has aged over the years of popular use and plenty of graffiti seemingly from students scribbled on the walls of the side tables.
Skip it or hit it? When you’re craving for a quick Japanese fix this is good meal option. It can get busy in here so just be prepared.“

“Delicious bento box at a great price—only $9.99! The food quality is comparable to Japanese restaurants that charge around $17. This deal is available for weekday lunch only. The staff are friendly, and the environment is cosy. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Got a scallop hand roll to go, for a little snack, and it was really good. The scallop was soft and fresh, with two pieces on top and I feel like there was more on the inside, bc it felt like I could feel more scallop texture within the rice. The hand roll was warm as well, which some people might not like but I liked it, and sushi rice isn't supposed to be cold anyway. Only $5 if you pay cash.“

“We started going to this restaurant since covid-19. Honestly there were a lot of choices in Markham, and Ikon was not the only sushi restaurant we ordered our food. But things have changed because we can hardly find better restaurant in Markham. There are restaurants that focus on lots of menu choices, some name their food with unheard titles, and some raise their prices to make you feel theirs are imaginative "premium". But Ikon comes in simple packages. They give you the max quality of food in simple menu and shockingly reasonable price. The chefs and the owner (tall woman) always dress in clean and simple outfits, and then greet you with a warming tone as if you were a good friend. As a bonus, take-out orders come with a Japanese soft clothes to carry your food. The whole package is simple and beautiful. Thr portion is bigger than many places. Sadly not many restaurants are like this. Disclaimer: I don't own any restaurant. I do not know any of the staff members and the owners. Japanese food is our family's preferred cuisine.“

“First time here and it was truly amazing.
The food is fantastic. I ordered the sushi set and everything was incredibly fresh and top quality. The tonkatsu don was also very well made and tasty, crispy on the outside and full of flavor.
The dining area has a classic Japanese style with thoughtful decoration and renovation. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Prices are very reasonable. It honestly feels like they haven’t raised prices over the years. I’d also highly recommend the dessert: the green tea ice cream is only $2 and has a rich flavor.
I normally don’t write restaurant reviews but this place is exceptional. I hope more people get the chance to visit.“

“Best pokebox location, 10/10 freshness, 10/10 taste, 10/10 size. I’ve tried a plethora of poke places in Toronto and this is by far the best one. Sadly, this is the only location that tastes amazing. The Toronto locations (which are closer to me) do not hold up“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“

“The staff were super friendly and helpful. They checked on us at the right times without hovering, and they were happy to answer questions about the menu. It made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable.
Everything we ordered tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. The portions were good, and everything came out looking just as good as it tasted.
I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family“

“This place was a life saver during my pregnancy. Love that they have so much variety with their menu and all of it was done pretty well. Definitely my go to whenever I had a craving. When I ordered California rolls while pregnant, they made sure there was no cross contamination and separated out the fish roe. You can tell that they care about their customers.“

“Sakada is my go-to spot whenever I need a quick and satisfying meal to tackle any cravings. Their chicken or beef teriyaki on rice never disappoints — it’s always fresh, flavourful, and exactly what I’m looking for.
Their sushi is just as amazing and always hits the spot, no matter what kind of craving I have. On top of that, their prices are so reasonable for the quality you get, which makes it even better.
Whether I’m grabbing something quick or sitting down for a meal, Sakada is consistently delicious and reliable. Highly recommend! 🍱🍜🍣“

“We felt like getting sushi takeout and was going to be in the area so thought we'd give this place a try.
Value-wise, I think the prices were very good. It was a decent amount of food with good variety (for a 40 pc sushi/sashimi/rolls tray) along with some of their seasonal mango-inspired sushi. It wasn't the best sushi I've had, but for the price, I think it's very good. (The mango rolls kinda fell apart on the car ride home hence why it looks that in way the pics.)
Overall I think this place is worth a revisit.“

“We always come here for the $23 Torched combo that comes with torched nigiri, torched roll, and miso soup. Sooo yummy 🥢🍣🤤.
(If you don't like the mustard sauce, you can ask to swap it too!)
Very reasonably priced local sushi restaurant and the quality of the food is consistently decent.“
“BiBab Express only had sushi available in take out containers when I arrived. I selected the spicy Salmon and salmon nigiri tray. The food stall itself is nothing special looking it kind of reminded me of a 90s food court type vibe, but the building it's in is also from the 80s - early 90s so no big deal. The spicy Salmon rolls were actually really good and I quite enjoyed them. They were not very spicy but they had good flavors. The nigiri was nothing stand out but for a cheaper take away place they weren't bad.“
