“Tried F\\u0026B for the first time last week after hearing so many great reviews. Even though the space is a little small, the decor and atmosphere of the place was amazing. The food was delicious and well prepared. My favourite dish was the carbonara gnocchi and duck breast. I would’ve loved to give this place a 5 star but the service was not great considering we were the only ones at the restaurant. Every time a plate was brought to our table, the server would already be walking away, while describing the contents of the dish. When we would wave the server down to ask a question, he never fully stopped at our table and didn’t wait to see if we had any other questions. He just walked away. Overall, I would come back again since their menu changes seasonally and the food was extremely tasty.“

“I visited this past Valentine’s Day weekend and visited again this past Saturday night. I didn’t have a reservation but still got seated very quickly. It was a hot, muggy night and the hostess said she had a seat on the patio which I was fine with. I had a magnificent server, Florence, who was kind, thoughtful to recommend a drink to the person I was with and even when our drinks were brought out within a short time, apologized for the delay (which wasn’t necessary). I wish I could give a review on the party next to us because they were extremely rude, not only not giving consideration to others being on the patio but were also incredibly rude to Florence. One woman in particular was grandstanding in front of this group and demanded to speak to a manager. Florence and the Manager were both composed and dignified in spite of a rude patron that was looking to get her bill comped (for a party of nearly a dozen people) going so far as to threatening to have everyone at her table write a terrible review. I have worked in the service industry and so have so many people I know and love so this situation had me worked up and I felt it necessary to write a review that our experience was magnificent. Don’t be an a-hole to servers of any kind just because you’re an a-hole yourself. If you give respect, you get respect. Go to The Sugar House. Be a good customer.“

“We had a lovely time on the patio with our dog at this bar. We ordered margaritas (a jalapeño one and a guava one), guacamole appetizer, & a buffalo chicken wrap entree. Everything was delicious. My first jalapeño margarita had over 20 seeds in it and they were kind enough to remake it for me without any big deal about it. The service was fantastic and we truly enjoyed our time! Highly recommend!“

“Great vibes with a vintage feel. Drinks were fun but not ~as~ good as I was expecting. Still very enjoyable. Food was spectacular, with the lobster bun exceeding my expectations. My partner said the burger was about as good as grey ghost’s (iykyk). Chicken bites were also very yummy. The solid Alaska was a fun ending of the night. Price range was reasonable too! We had 4 drinks total with 3 things to eat and it came to $99 before tip. Overall excited to come back!“

I would recommend seeing Morgan anytime at Dotte pub! Morgan is so amazing she pulled a charger out as my phone was dying so I can charge it back up! “Wonderful Coffee! The hand made syrups were probably the best I ever had. I tried two lattes, one with vanilla lavender and the other with honey cinnamon and they were great! I recommend both of them with oatmilk. The owner was super friendly with my party and I and we had a very nice conversation with her while she made our lattes. Down Under is only FOUR minutes away from the TCF, walking. There is NO reason to ever get Starbucks again while I am in Detroit for Youmacon. A definite must for all the con goers to give them a try!“

The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “The restaurant is a little smaller with a more intimate feel. We sat at a small high top table next to the bar and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Throughout the night, at least 6 different servers took care of us (sitting next to the bar, we were taken care of by the bartenders.) The food and drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. My boyfriend had the peach cocktail and then an old fashion with honey cinnamon syrup and I had the mule which all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. We both had the Steak frites which was cooked to perfection and the fries I just couldn’t get enough of. For dessert, we took home the banana pie dessert and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake special and let me just say, oh my goodness. Neither of us knew which one we liked better. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing valentines dinner :)“

“New Chef Dylan is brilliant! This is not your old lackluster Bronze Door. We have dined at all of the incarnations of this restaurant going back to the original Bronze Door in the 70s - today’s dinner was by far the best meal we have ever had there! The new menu is imaginative without being gimmicky and the execution was superb! We almost did not eat there tonight based on previous experiences but they are close to home and we wanted to dine early. So glad we did! Every dish we had was superb! So happy to know that the Bronze Door finally has a chef and menu that it deserves.“

“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

“My friend took me to evening bar for the first time last night and it was a beautiful bar. Modern art deco decor and wonderful cocktails. Shiva was amazing. I had to decide between two cocktails and she described them both in detail that helped me make my decision. I decided on one and it was perfectly up my alley and just as she described. She was so friendly, quick, and attentive even with quite a few guests she was helping. 10/10 will definitely be back. Cocktails were perfectly balanced and had distinct flavors and profiles“
