As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“I recently held a business meeting at this restaurant, and while the food was excellent, the overall experience left much to be desired. The dishes were delicious, but the service felt rushed. To add to the disappointment, we were asked to leave abruptly (15 minutes after paying), a surprising and unwelcome end to our meal. I understand the need to turn tables but this was completely unprofessional. There were 3 couples waiting for tables as we left and yet the restaurant could accommodate hundreds of guests. As an out-of-town (out of country) visitor, I've never encountered such a situation before, leaving me with mixed feelings about the establishment.“

“Great spot if you’re craving a classic fish and chips experience.

The fish was cooked perfectly, and the batter was light and crispy. I had the cod, while my friends ordered the haddock and halibut. We tried each other’s dishes, and all of them were excellent. Cooked just the way I like. To top things off, the coleslaw was amazing: light, refreshing, and with the perfect crunch. Its sweet and tangy flavor balanced the richness of the dish beautifully. Overall, it really hit the spot!

You could tell the chips were made fresh in house, too. They provided ample tartar sauce along with the classic salt-and-vinegar accompaniments for the chips. The portion sizes were very generous. I even had enough to take some home and enjoy later.

The space is clean and bright, and the service is exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

“Wiki Hut located in the Lawrence/Allen Mall is definitely was a happen upon type of stop as some of the food stores were closed and I was hungry I really did not want to stop somewhere else. The food was good. I ordered fried rice/noodle, veggie and Honey chicken/crispy chicken. It was one meal to go. I ate in the car as I really was famish. I was not aware that it was a specialty fried rice I though it was a veggie fried rice but, not the staff fault as I really did not look at the names on the glass I just ordered. I had not ordered Honey chicken before and it was tangy taste nothing like sweet and sour as I asked for that but, not the right place, lol. The lady explained that but she gave a bit of the gravy so it was nice. The crispy chicken was as said crispy and that is good. The mild noodles was good as well. I think because I was loaded I paid about twenty three dollars as I had food, lol. I was glad to try something different. I won't say I would not go back but, for this mall it isn't a first choice but the service was nice. Nice in Toronto is appreciated as it does not happen much. In all give Wiki Hut a try. Hopefully a good try for you too“

“It's one of the better fish n chips place where the fish taste good along with the fries. Now I say that but the fries are still on the plain side of fries, but they're nice and crispy and some seasoning helps out.

They got deals on certain days, making the cost quite reasonable.

The location is nice and calming with the blue atmosphere.

My only complaint is when requesting poutine to be added to your dish, it's a completely different dish and cannot be combined as an addon. Which they use to do by making it an addon and you pay whatever amount for it. But if you try to get the deals and poutine you have to pay full price instead of the deal + addon.

Aside form that, I enjoy eating or getting takeout from halibut house.“
