“Top class service, tasty food, great wine, and just a wonderful experience. I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

The gentleman saw me and cooked up some thing really fast on the grill, even though he was about to close. The food was amazing. The presentation was great. He guided us through the process and was very attentive to our needs. Attendance was approx. 45-50 people. The event was an amazing success. “One of my family members said this is the best place for Portuguese food in Toronto. We were hungry so we thought we would give it a try. The order was delivered quite quickly, but the sushi that was supposed to arrive warm was already cold (in my opinion, they could have been put in a thermo box or at least wrapped in foil). Sushi ? is very tasty, not too much rice, tasty fish. But there was not enough wasabi and ginger for such a portion (I would have liked more).I recommend the sushi, but they need to work on their delivery.“

I ordered the King Crab boil with extras and initially the order was cancelled but they called me IMMEDIATELY to advise they had only one king crab left but would substitute it with snow crabs. “Been going here for 30 years. Always hits the spot. Fish is fairly expensive but at least you know it’s always going to be good. Place needs a bit of an upgrade as it’s starting to feel a bit grimy. Side note: their homemade T-Rex burger is one of the best burgers in Toronto.“

“So old school dining. The Swiss chalet of seafood 😁 Place has been there for long time. Plenty of room. Easy access from street or atrium (which means it’s on the PATH). Friendly staff and very efficient service. Food is ok, it’s fresh and fast. Nice to get warm biscuits. Had the fish and chips. Fries were over seasoned for my taste (will ask for light or no seasoning next time) but the fish and coleslaw were great. A classic place to stop for a quick bite.“

“A large Club group of 40 had lunch at the Red Lobster on the Queensway! We had a separate party room for our group. The service was just great and the servers were very pleasant and accommodating. We received our meals in a timely fashion considering the size of the group. The menu is very extensive but varied which serves well to many different tastes and appetites. Everyone in the group really enjoyed their luncheon choices and most had to ask for takeaway cartons. We had couple or individual bills and they were handled efficiently by the staff. “(Nov 9, 830pm) - Stopped in to Luma by accident while looking for somewhere for a late dinner and what a pleasant surprise!

Our server Dhyey was an absolute doll, he was attentive, had great recommendations and so much personality - he was the perfect mix of polite and professional, but with the right amount of gentle ribbing/sassiness that was a delight!

We ordered a few cocktails, bottle of wine and a couple appys as well as our mains. Everything was delicious, although the pasta I ordered was just not hitting as I wanted, and when he came to check on us we said everything was great (and 99% of it was!!) but he could tell I didn't love my dish and insisted on having the kitchen make me something else. I really hate sending food back, but Dhyey was so insistent on making it right, which I really appreciated.

We were stuffed and weren't going to have dessert, but he brought out a surprise creme brulee (my absolute dessert weakness) with a "Congratulations" spelled out in chocolate as we'd mentioned we were celebrating our recent elopement with a friend that evening.
