“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. It was our first time in and it was busy, but it seemed unexpected because the staff was a bit overwhelmed, so I don't know what a regular Tuesday afternoon looks like! Staff was kind and helpful, and our broccoli quiches and sweet chai lattes were delicious. We didn't wait long, even with a big line. We were cozy on their love seats, and had lots of other seating options to choose from. They also have outdoor seating for nice days. We both agreed that their sweet chai latte is really well balanced and yummy! Not too sweet or spicy. I will definitely be back!“

However, this place—located on the second floor of a Korean market—is very simple yet surprisingly delicious. Whenever I go to G Mart to pick up sale items, I usually stop here for a meal.
The food here is much better than at Jeju, Hanok, or other Korean restaurants. Another advantage is that after finishing your meal, you can conveniently do your grocery shopping right downstairs. The prices are reasonable, and most of the menu items taste excellent. This is definitely a place I recommend.“

“I have enjoyed eating here many times. Their Detroit style pizza is scrumptious in all its varieties, and their beer is excellent. They have trivia night on Wednesdays, which is a lot of fun. Only thing is, the place can get a little noisy when crowded, a booth in the back is best for conversation.“

The restaurant was clean, quaint and cozy. Food was moderately priced and the service was perfect.

We started with spring rolls($8). I ordered Chicken Pad Thai($15) and he ordered the Crispy Fried Basil($18). I’ve had Pad Thai many places and this is the first place where I could taste the char of the wok. Truly the best I’ve found.

“My family all meet at Pho Oregon in Beaverton for dinner tonight, and since it was Our first time here at this restaurant and we were all super hungry so the time was perfect. Our table ordered a variety and everyone loved what they ordered. I had the Beef Stew with French Bread it was so good and with it starting to rain out when we got there it ended up being perfect. Pho was ordered, as well as a Crispy Seafood Noodle dish that both my Son and husband had. They both loved it! Such a variety and hits the stop just right!“

“As a frequent visitor to Japan, I long for the authentic intersection between food, atmosphere and service. But mostly food.

Yuzu brings a good majority of this to the table. I found myself flashing back to an izakaya in Morioka (minus the tabaco filled air). Atmosphere is a check.

I started with the karrage, which came out perfect. Using the Japanese double-fry method, it's more of a steam than a fry. This leaves you with a thin but crispy outside and very juicy, not dry chicken, with very little grease. The aoili sauce really added to the overall flavor.
The sashito peppers weren't overly seasoned nor overly spicy, but rather had a good umami flavor.
The kimchi cheese spring rolls were the only non-Japanese item I ordered. They were unique and very flakey, but the flavors and textures did not mix too well.
I also ordered the cold soba. This is one of the rare time I enjoyed a cold soba. The flavor wasn't overpowering and the texture had a somewhat firm but melt apart texture.

Finally, they have a rotating donburi and this visit I scored as they had my favorite Japanese dish - the Katsudon. This was one of the best Katsudonburi I have had in the US. The seasoning had the perfect umami balance with sweetness. The Katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle, and most importantly the egg was just set and a little runny (I prefer more runny but in the US this is a good compromise to the usual scrambled egg you get on top)

Overall fantastic food and atmosphere. The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive.

Finally, we arrived 30 mins before they opened on a Saturday night, and it was practically empty when we entered and still had tables available when we were leaving.
