Service was quick and courteous. The order process is done on a screen which was straightforward, though I was still greeted at the door and provided with water and a table.

Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. The portions weren't large but I was still full by the end of desert so perfect for lunch.“

Yes it’s spicy, yes your mouth is getting numb, and no you are not having an allergic reaction. That’s just the real Szechuan peppercorns doing the magic they do. Must order #2 Pork Wonton in Chili Oil. Do yourself a favor and get a side of the chili oil for an extra $2. You’ll find yourself dipping everything in it because it’s that good. Last but not least, Garlic Green Beans. A staple of better Chinese restaurants, these Green Beans are crispy and swimming in butter & garlic heaven.“

“Holy cow, probably among the best chinese food in town. I asked them to make a General Tso Tofu even though it's technically not on the menu, and I was blown away. The flavor is super complex with fresh ginger and garlic cloves and the tofu is soft and fluffy. Definitely the best restaurant on Macadam no question.“

“Best chow fun in town. Can't get fresher noodles anywhere because they supply most of the Chinese restaurants and stores in town with their noodles. Their fried rice is really good, too. They also make their own tofu, both fresh and fried. Their rice noodle rolls are good, too. just have to get their early in the day because they sell out fast. The owners are some of the nicest people and work extremely hard. Love giving them my business.“

“Master Kong absolutely went above and beyond. Not only was the food incredible — full of rich flavor and clearly made with love — but the kindness of the staff completely blew me away.

I accidentally placed my order for pickup at their other location, and instead of canceling or making it complicated, they personally delivered my meal to me. That kind of thoughtfulness is so rare, and it meant so much.

Well let me say, you are missing out on one of the best tasting restaurants in Portland. I ordered the chow mein which was very different from usual chow mein in a very very good way! The noodles were ramen like and the flavors were crazy good. I also loved the beef skewers and had a grape slushie that was amazing! I want to now, go order one of everything on their menu for my next meal. Eat here. Go. “Interesting place . Definitely the best Sichuan since lucky strike iykyk, even tho the dan dan noodles are spaghetti, the dry sauce is so good I can’t complain and is the best I’ve had . . Service is weird . The woman seemed angry but that little part of town can have some gnarly people which I’m sure they deal with . That being said, you really taste the flavor separately which I think is hard to do with this food . If the woman punched me in the face I still might give it 5 stars . “The food was hot, flavorful and with good texture and sauces, now admittedly I'm a sushi guy so that's what I got for, however; even if I didn't live right around the corner I would *highly* recommend stopping in for their tempura sushi. “My wife and I order Ying Bun several times a month. We just love it everything is fresh and taste like authentic Chinese food. We have a standing order, that we order every time.
We start with:
1) two large wonton soups that has lots of big large beautiful wontons with fresh snow peas, carrots, celery, sliced chicken, barbecue pork and large shrimp too!
2) Number 5 Dinner that comes with Fried Shrimp, Pork fried rice, Sweet and Sour chicken, Subgum chicken chow mein
3) large order of crab puffs
4) large order of fried shrimp
This is our order, we love this meal. We get at least 3 meals out of our order. Always hot and fresh. We don't even mind the 20-minute wait time to make it. Just awesome to have something wonderful local because we like to go home put our pajamas on watch TV and eat all this food.“

“Din Tai Fung never disappoints. It's my go-to place for power lunches when I need to impress colleagues, friends and family. Everything is top notch. Price point is good (not cheap). Their chocolate-filled steamed buns (signature dessert) paired with a side of salted cream is To Die For. Must make reservations or you will be disappointed.“

“Alrighty, so today I tried out Jin Jin for the first time ever today after getting recommended them by my boss. From what I’ve heard they have amazing fried rice and food so I had to get some. I placed 2 separate takeout orders for their spam fried rice(my new favorite) and their Lapchong Chinese sausage fried rice. They packaged both of them beautifully in reusable Tupperware containers and the final garnish and look of my food was amazing. Taste wise, it was literally the best fried rice I’ve ever had and trust me I’ve eaten a lot of fried rice everywhere through the years, it wasn’t too oily and the taste of it was absolutely perfect! I could tell it was authentically cooked in a wok and seasoned by the hands of a chef who’s been cooking for a very long time and knows what they’re doing. They’re kind and very nice people who are really friendly and took care of my order and payment fast and smoothly.

The store interior is so welcoming and family friendly lookin; it’s just a classic small and aesthetically beautiful restaurant. I highly highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for everyone to experience. 10/10 I will definitely be back for more :)“

The space is small and can seat 20 at the most.

“This is our favorite go to authentic Chinese restaurant in Portland. The food is fresh, hot, and so delicious. The owner is very nice and knows us by name. It's nice to find a place in Portland where my family can order in their native tongue (Cantonese) and have a full conversation.
Our favorite dishes that we pretty much always get is the salt and pepper fish, sweet and sour pork, and the Happy Family. We've tried many other dishes as well and they were all very good.“

“The food seems more authentic than most. Although most dishes are spicy, their regular level is slice is very tolerable. Nice use of Sichuan peppercorns--everything warms the mouth without setting it on fire. I've had their mapo tofu, kung pao chicken, and beef with green onions. All very good. They put sauce on the side so it didn't get mushy (we ordered door dash, which actually took 1.5hrs because there was no dasher available) and the food was delicious and fresh.
