“Absolutely the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! To start Mohammad (the owner and chef) is an absolutely amazing person. He goes above and beyond each time to make every customer feels feel special and accommodate their needs. Today I asked him to make something off the menu. It was a lamb, beef kofta, falafel and rice plate. Absolutely the best food i've ever eaten from a food cart. The price was very fair and the quantity was generous. Every time I come here the experience is wonderful. Truly, this exemplifies everything a good cart should aspire to be!“

“This was my second time at Frybaby, and I had to bring my friend so she could experience the Korean fried chicken with Snow Cheese since she'd never had either. Theirs, imo, is the best ive had in wa/or. It was just as good as I remembered.

The chicken wings are so crispy and light while still being incredibly juicy. And the Snow Cheese is such a good sweet and savory topping. It kind of reminds me of honey mustard in the best way. It balances two completely different flavors and somehow makes them work together perfectly.

We also tried the kimchi mac. I was expecting more of a traditional creamy mac and cheese with pieces of kimchi mixed in, but it was more like a pasta with a kimchi-flavored white sauce. I personally would have preferred something cheesier with actual pieces of kimchi throughout. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t quite what I was expecting from a kimchi mac.

The cucumber salad was another highlight. It was fresh, crunchy, flavorful, and a really nice contrast to the richness of the fried chicken and pasta.

If you’re looking for Korean fried chicken in Portland, Frybaby is definitely worth checking out. The Snow Cheese chicken is the thing I’d recommend most, especially if you like that sweet and savory combination. It’s the kind of dish that makes you immediately understand why you had to come back for it.“

“Best veggie burger of my life! Hands-down, they have the best veggie burger, and I consider myself an aficionado. It’s not the crap- filled, unhealthy version, the boring fart inducing version or the dry dusty crumbly version. It’s a beautiful, well crafted, superbly FLAVORFUL, house made veggie burger with vegetables and whole foods. The flavor has an adobo taste to it. Plus they put cheese on it! I love veggie burgers, but I’m not a vegan or vegetarian so this was just really cool. I would definitely come back here again soon.

We came here super late and all the car pods were closed about 10 minutes before they’re closing time. We were just about to scramble and find an alternative And saw that this car has their lights on. We rolled up, thinking that they were certainly not going to service, but they absolutely did and with a smile“

“I am by no means a Vegan. In fact if there is an afterlife I am sure I will have many many furry faces waiting for me for my crimes of rampant meat consumption. So setting that as the starting off point I eat the vegan bowl here like two or three times a week. This girl is an absolute wok goddess. I have no idea how she manages to cook every single piece of vegetables in her stir frys without ever making a single piece go limp. I have a deep and abiding childhood hatred of cauliflower. It is marrow deep to the point of irrational dislike on my end. Yet when that vile weed appears at random in her stir fry I am not only okay with it, but thoroughly enjoy the dish. Even her rice is several steps ahead of the competition. The curried Garbonzo beans are simply perfect. The fresh diced cucumber and carrot makes the perfect crunchy contrast with the amazing rice and curried legumes. The fresh lime juice makes her dishes flirt with sweetness while still being savory. If your tired of the same old boring grease soaked fries and cheese slathered mediocre slabs of low grade meat check out this cart. The flavors are both well seasoned yet not over powering. She has a chefs touch to be sure. Plus my heart I am sure prefers the fare far more than another artery clogging mass of American failure cuisine.“

When I arrived the truck door was closed and electronic music was playing in the background, in the process of closing down. The owner, I believe, popped and offered to whip us up whatever we wanted, and said everything was still warm and ready to go. I will say first time I got the Macho King sauce it was not as spicy as I led to believe, but the next time it was hella spicy. Delicious either way, but may be a Russian roulette situation so be careful! The fries and whatever orange sauce they provide with them are outrageously good too. Very friendly staff.“

“Best crudo I have had in Portland in quite some time, and I’m a seafood fiend so I have had quite a few. First off, thick cut tuna, which doesn’t get lost in the ponzu. Then, a perfect balance of citrus, wasabi, just enough serrano zip, and a perfect hit of salt. Beautiful bite! Also had the cucumber which was tasty and herbaceous.
