Got the Fresh Prince, which doesn’t come with cheese and I debated adding it, but i didn’t and I didn’t miss it! The flavors are so well balanced and delicious, the sour dough was just awesome. “I ordered a pick-up from Google map yesterday. When I got there there was many people so I could not reach out to any staffs. Turned out to pick up my order without letting any staffs know but I guess it’s normal for such a busy restaurant. Ate at a table outside the restaurant and really enjoyed the cool weather. The pork katsu sandwich tasted great. The fries with curry tasted good at first but just OK as time went by. Want to try other sandwiches when I come to Portland again.“

“Jojo comes up on a lot of PDX "Best of..." lists, and as a result, when I was looking to book a reservation and found no convenient time slots available, I figured the next best alternative would be to skip the BS and just hit up the food cart. Good choice.

Reasonably priced for a premium burger in Portland, I went with the Mr. Onion Burger, which lived up to the name in every way possible: an assortment of awesome Alliums assembled under a bun, and tied together with a tasty, tangy Alabama white mustard. Very much approved! I'm now even more intrigued to return and try the Spicy Cheeseburger, which would normally have been my #1 pick, but I wanted to try something different.

Of course, one can't eat at Jojo's without trying the Jojo's, right? And my visit was no exception: a small order of the Nashville Hots was a fantastic accompaniment, even if the red sauce and breading got absolutely everywhere! And even a small order is a sizeable portion, meaning I took half of it home with me, for later.

Jojo came with a lot of hype and expectations, but they knocked it out of the park, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And if you're like me, and you don't need any pretense to enjoy a classic burger at a reasonable price, don't bother reserving a table in NW; just head over to this cart on SE Powell.

Parking: Plenty of parking at the John's Marketplace lot.

The outside of the tamale in bread is just too much bread. The sandwich also didn’t hold up well especially when dunked in the pazole dip. Flavor was good and the dip was good but it just doesn’t work. What saved it was their great beer selection. Love ya!“

“Three of us split a Turkey, Ham and bacon with provolone Club Sub. We got the giant size and they cut it into four sections. $18.99. The service was very friendly and they were up for putting all the different veggies, juice and spreads on the sandwich.

I recommend getting the cherry pepper spread on most of their sandwiches. And the oil and vinegar (plus oregano seasoning) adds a yummy extra touch to any sandwich with shredded lettuce. And their Big Kahuna beef cheesesteak is excellent! Recommended!“
